Very cute spot, nice vibes and music! Food is the best we tend to go a lot in the summer with my children since they love their food to! Their hot wings are the best ! I'd rate Vacations four and a half stars. Rooftop bar with a view of the Manhattan skyline. Spacious with plenty of seating and enclaves making it agreeable for groups of nearly any sizes. Seems like a nice space to host parties as well. Couple full bars on sites including two frozen cocktails at the rooftop bar. There was a piña colada and another one called the honeymoon. Service at the bar was quick. Fun and friendly atmosphere. Loud beach club music. Staff spraying around bubbles. Diverse and respectful crowd; we came on Sunday evening, so the timing probably skews toward a more relaxed vibe. read more

Here's the revised Yelp review: --- My friend and I recently visited for the first time, eager to find a rooftop spot for cocktails, and I was pleasantly surprised! The rooftop is spacious with lots of seating, but it was still quite hard to find a seat on a crowded Friday night. The view is nice, providing a great atmosphere for a casual outing. It's probably a better spot for a weekday hang if you want to sit down and dine with friends. I was pleasantly surprised to meet a very friendly bartender(Cali )who added to the positive experience. We decided to try the fish and chips. While the fish was delicious and definitely a highlight, the fries were a letdown as they came out lukewarm and limp. Overall, I would definitely return for the drinks and the good vibe. It's a nice place to unwind, especially during the week. I would recommend checking it out! read more

Had my 40th bday here and had never been was so pleasantly surprised! Posted up early on the lovely roof on a Friday. Vibe was very chill, views were wonderful. Drinks are great: both strong enough and tasty. The frozen margarita situation was excellent, but other guests got other drinks and loved theirs too. Food: super good?! The burger was especially delicious. Fries looked solid if you like the bigger kind. Service: Friendly, easy -going and skilled bartenders, what more could you ask for. Amazing bar with great food and drinks. Get the fish and chips in the bar downstairs and head upstairs to check out the view. Went recently and Eden served me she was so friendly and hospitable. We went to vacations for 4th of July and sat downstairs because the rooftop was packed for fireworks. We got there during happy hour and when I ordered my drink I asked the bar tender if the drink I had ordered would be a happy hour price and she made an offer hand comment saying, "it's only $2 off but yeah". I said, "ok, great!" Trying to ignore the snobby comment. I ordered a few more drinks after happy hour had ended and some food. When I went to pay the bill I noticed that I didn't get my happy hour price on the one drink, but didn't want to deal with her snobbery so I just paid the bill. Then the next day when I looked at the invoice that had been emailed to me I saw that an additional $5 was added to my bill listed as "tip" in addition to the tip I had already given this bar tender! How is it possible for an establishment to add their own tip on top of one that was previously given? This amount is what was taken out of my bank account and is $5 more than the actual receipt that I signed for at the bar that night. So just warning others that depending on who you get to serve you, you should check your receipts carefully. Sure, $2 or $5 may not seem like a lot of money for some people ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE STEALING but it's still money! And it's WRONG! read more

Extremely cute theming, good drinks, versatile space -- even the bar snacks exceeded expectations. I'm glad I visited this place early because I bet it will become crowded soon enough. The cocktail list is fruity but complex. I had a pineapple/rum based drink with lime and simple syrup called the Proposal, absolutely delicious. The frozen honeymoon with a tajin rim was more standard and less interesting but still good. I actually loved the music here. Very upbeat vibes. I got the papas bravas as a snack and was impressed by the fingerling potatoes varieties. It came with the perfect amount of sauce. Finally, the space is super open and there are lots of different seating options. You can do outdoor tables, partially indoor bar space, benches, or standing. There's also cornhole. I have no complaints and I'd rate the experience above average for a Bushwick bar. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but it was a huge disappointment. The service was painfully slow--even though the place wasn't that busy, it took forever just to get drinks. When the food finally came out, it was cold and clearly not fresh. The bartender seemed more interested in chatting with friends than actually taking care of customers, and when I politely asked about the delay, I got attitude instead of an apology. I ordered a wheat beer at seven bucks and saw regular pricing for other beers at even lower price points. Happy hour must be good here. Burgers and sandwiches were around fifteen on the short menu. Great and friendly service awaits you behind the bar. One can afford to frequent Merv's and this would be a great place to get together with friends and sit with a date; though, it is a bit loud for a good conversation. Still gets a high rec from me. Service has been friendly on all my visits. Their bar food it great! They run good specials, like a burger, fries, and a beer for $15. Or the same combo with a martini for $20. My personal favorite is their hot dog, crispy and fresh covered in relish, onion, mustard, cherry peppers, and hot honey for only $4! Definitely a nice neighborhood spot to stop by.

Some other people in my party got the Bavarian Pretzel. After the presentation ended, I brought out cupcakes I had made, and the server allowed us to light them and sing happy birthday to my partner. Afterwards, we all decided to go to the bar upstairs to have a drink and play cornhole. The upstairs area was really nice as well and half indoor half out. We were impressed by the variety on the drink menu and I enjoyed a Mezcal cocktail. There is bar seating, as well as more high top tables inside the indoor portion of the bar upstairs, and there is also similar seating options throughout the outside portion.
