If I could give this place a zero I would. I had my drink on a rail and some random man comes up to me and tells me you can't have your drink there. So me being the chill person I am I move it to the other side out the way. Didn't know who he was but did it anyway out of courtesy. So 20 minutes later the same guys comes up to me and grabs my drink again and I'm like dude who are why you touching my drink are you like trying to drug me. I was so upset I get up and walk away. I sat at the other bench for roughly about 30 seconds and then I get security approaching me saying oh you have to go. I said why? He said the owner said I threw a drink at him. I was like what I NEVER THREW A DRINK AT HIM! This owner was on a serious power trip! I told security tell the owner to come to me and tell me why is he throwing me out and he refused. He grabbed my hands and used excessive force on me for no reason. Trying to drag me through the bar after I asked him to get the owner. It is illegal sir for you to use a MALE SECURITY to use excessive force on a FEMALE! Worst bar I ever been too in 26 years being a BARTENDER! Mind you my friends bought a bottle and the bottle girl I know for 15 years. Disgusting owner and even his security outside was embarrassed and told me the OWNER IS ALWAYS ON A POWER TRIP! From the moment we walked into the space we felt welcomed. I really enjoy the ambience and the music that was being played. The aesthetics give the place a really nice touch. Most importantly, the lychee martini brings this place over the top. They provide you free, popcorn, and have a menu as well. Stopped by Dive Bar at the end of a double date this Saturday. Great sports bar with multiple TVs (different games / matches on), good music, and chill vibes. We headed in with no reservations and sat at a high top for some drinks and fries. Hostesses were attentive, drinks were good, and overall a nice time. They have hookah as well. Clean bathrooms and sociable clientele. It was someone's birthday and they brought out a birthday sign and bottle with a sparkler. Fun way to celebrate a friend. read more

I went here on a Thursday and Sunday for the first time. The service is good, waitress was attentive and I like the decor. On Sunday bartender told my friend it an under water theme. I can see good the windows look like a ships. Full bar and hookah. The drinks are good and ok. My friend says the wings were good. I like the happy hour and the aesthetic. Got a chance to hit up Dive Bar BK and here was my experience. I've been to their Astoria location so I was excited to hear about their new place in Brooklyn. Despite the name, Dive Bar, it is far from a dive. Think of it as a causal yet elevated bar. This place offers happy hour Wednesday thru Sunday which is great. Came here with a few friends on a Friday evening. The ambiance is beautiful! It is so pretty inside. Although, it is VERY small. We were there in the earlier evening hours so there was really no one in there, but I can see this place getting super packed later on. Even though there were not a lot of people in there, it took a bit to order a drink from the bar. Music was very good. We didn't try the food, only the drinks. Definitely would return here though. I would give this place no stars. It's not possible though the review doesn't accept it. Place is insane. Gratuity is almost 20% with absolutely no mention of it on the menu or anywhere in the place. We literally sat down and asked for hookah, between the gratuity, tip, fee, and taxes it was double the price of hookah. Server was stuck up and rude. I just ended up walking out. Went here last weekend and had a blast. We had a 9 PM reservation and it wasn't too busy when we arrived but the DJ was playing hits. Good mix of hip hop, rap, old school and Latin music. He definitely had the vibe going. Drinks were good but the food menu leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe it was because we were there later in the evening and it was a limited menu? We ordered wings and fries - fries were fine, wings were pretty much burnt and hard on the outside and they only have three options for sauces/wing flavor. Drinks were a good price and go along with the nautical theme. By the time we left, it was packed so your best bet is to get here early. Hookah was very good and reasonably priced. I appreciated that they give every table a jug of water and popcorn to snack on. 3 stars because we had a reservation for 9:15 last night and were told if we wanted a table (which we had last weekend), we would either have to spend $100 per person or buy a bottle. This was never communicated to us when we made the reservation but the girl at the door said they do that on the weekends. We told her that we were here last weekend with a reservation and a table and there was no minimum spend, so she came up with another random reason saying they charge for tables when "it's busy" lol. We ended up leaving and going to another spot. $100 per person isn't necessarily a lot, but it was shady considering we were just there last weekend and didn't have a minimum spend. This definitely would have been a spot I go to often but the inconsistency in whether or not they want to charge you for a table or not weird. Dive Bar Bk is the most refreshening and beautiful venue ive seen in all of this area The details of decor and the huge over head screen really come together. I had two different cocktails, The Sun Tan and The Tipsy Mermaid n they were refreshing and amazingly delicious. Food wise the wings and burger were very well cooked and tasted great. They also have a beautiful venue in the back with lots of greenery and light works that marvel. Overall this place is great to come watch sports or just chill to pregame or full out party at night. I've been here a few times now and every time has been great. From the bar food to the music and the service everything is great. They also have tv's so it's awesome to watch sports and fight nights are also great being that they have a venue in the back called Abyss which also has tv's.
