I was "Wowed" by this place! A true hidden gem and the line on a Sunday morning is a testament to how awesome they are. First time here and I received the Fruity Pepples donut. So soft you can tell they were made just a few hors ago. What I liked is they also had coffee and a few breakfast sandwich & Burrito offers which made for a complete breakfast variety. Wow! This place has some amazing donuts! My favorite is the glazed donut holes. They are light, pillowy, and fresh. They come in orders of 7 or 14. At first, you think that for just one person 7 donut holes may seem like a lot, but trust me, once you pop the first one in your mouth, you'll understand. They have the perfect ratio of sweet and slightly yeasty goodness. I have also ordered the chocolate raised and the chocolate cake donuts. Those are great as well, but the glazed donut holes are where it's at! The location of this place is easy to find and there is ample parking. The only reason why I cannot give this place a complete 5 stars is the ambiance leaves quite a bit to be desired and it looks like it needs a good scrubbing down. This place has a lot of potential to be a fun Sunday morning coffee/donut hang-out place, but it lacks any kind of warm, inviting feeling. Drove 30 minutes to try out this place and I was slightly underwhelmed. The store was pretty quiet and the lady was nice so that makes me think they are doing the best they can. Unfortunately, the donuts tasted very generic to me, like something I would find at Krispy Kreme but nothing really special. There was a choice cake or raised donuts which I went with raised donuts. The fritters are not to be missed. They're the flatter, fruitier type, not the thick doughy mass type, so if you are a fan of the latter, skip this place. However, if you are the former-- definitely give them a shot! The apple has lots of cinnamon flavor and it really sings. They are definitely on the sweet side and large, so I can only manage a half at a time (but that's okay-- they're still great the next day!). The other donuts are fine. Not exceptional, but good. it's a nice little donut shop with a variety of donuts. I went around 9 a.m. and there wasn't a lot of donuts. Matter fact only one window out of three were filled with donuts. There was still a selection but for a donut shop it looks pretty dead. One worker there was friendly came out quickly and helped me get the half a dozen donuts that I needed. He also treated my girls to three donut holes on the house. There is a coffee/latte, but it's by no means handcrafted brew. The donuts we're good, nothing to have about. No Gluten Free options here. If I could give 0 stars I would. Lucky for Donut Time Yelp feels gracious enough to give a 1 star by default. My experience was absolutely disgusting and disappointing. I asked for the BAKERS Dozen for a price of 17.00 the lady who worked there asked if she wanted to pick the selection for me and I said sure. When it came time to checkout my bill was way higher than expected. I paid 19.00 for my bakers selection then had a 4.20 dollar add on for custom items that I never asked for. She then mentions oh I raised my prices sorry for that. This is FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! When I mentioned I wanted the bakers dozen they should have said something then. I feel extremely taken advantage of and it's so silly all over donuts?!?!? I will make sure to tell everyone I know never to go here!!!
