I went at like 10:45 and it closes at 11:30, so the selection was scarce to begin with and the guy in front of me got a dozen donuts so my selection was limited to a cream (frosting) filled donut, plain donut or plain stick. I would never have chosen any of these kinds if the guy in front of me didn't buy out all the other kinds (Boston cream and jelly, etc). Since I have wanted to try this place for a long tome, I chose the frosting filled donut and removed the frosting, just eating the donut. It was a very good donut. I will have to come back next time and earlier so I'll have a bigger selection. read more

Donuts with a difference, also very good and priced right but no customer service and you never know when they will have donuts available even when they have opened. I went here this morning 5:00 am Sunday and the owner was so pleasant, kind and passionate about his donuts. I brought my 3yr old son and the owner offered him a drink..my son chose oj..very thoughtful. He also offered to fill the glazed donut with jelly. So.....here is a short story about how a small local business exemplifies the term "Customer Service." I went into the Donut Shack hoping to purchase a couple of donuts. I asked the man there, whom I assumed was the owner, lf he accepts credit cards. He then asked me what kind of donuts I wanted assuming that I did not have cash on me.I told him an old favorite of mine, two "Marshmallow Donuts" please. It is now referred to as a Vanilla Cream Filled Donut.... (which I refer to as "lard filled vanilla"). He then bagged two of them and said "Don't Leave Town" as he handed me the bag. He also said "Pay me next time". Much to my surprise, I left with two unpaid for donuts after thanking him. The next day...I returned there and made good on his trust and bought two more donuts which were by the way, the best 4 donuts I have eaten in a long time! I told the owner that I was back to pay for my borrowed donuts and he replied," I was just about to call the cops on you!" That is the true meaning of customer service. Finally got a chance to try this place on Sunday, and wow! I was looking for a good donut shop near me (Nashua) I'm so tired of Dunkin Donuts and that's all that seem to be around. I found this place online and read the reviews and knew I had to try it. My finance and I walked in on Sunday morning sort of expecting the donuts to be all gone it was a little after 9am. There were still plenty to chose from but I didn't know where to start. The super friendly staff were very helpful and waited for me to decide. While they were waiting they heard me say that it was our first time in there and they said "oh its your first time, then you get a free coffee roll". Sweet! The coffee roll was the BEST coffee roll I have ever had. We went on to pick a few donuts to bring home with us and we liked them so much we cut pieces of them to try and have others try them as well. I am so glad to have found this place, the donuts and coffee roll were AMAZING!! I'm currently telling everyone at work who lives near the area that they have to stop in there. We will def be back! Oh and not only do the donuts taste better than any donut you could get at Dunkins...they are also cheaper! read more
