Photos help the selection process as well. Rollen Donuts is a super small shop but extraordinarily fresh donuts. While there were none of my favorites (crullers), a couple chocolate bars are a close second. And Wow! Were they good! So fresh, they almost could not be picked up or easily held, my fingers sank right into them. Still warm, and the frosting was generous with a cake-like icing texture. There might be a line sometimes but it goes quick. They have multiple little booths to wait or you can eat there- it can be busy in the mornings on the weekends- otherwise it seems pretty chill. Some of my favorites are the maple bacon donuts, the cereal covered ones (fruit cereal ones), Oreo covered ones, apple fritters, jelly filled, and of course the classic donut holes. Whenever an order was ready, the workers walked around both inside and outside shouting the name of the order which made it convenient for us to not have to fight the crowd to the counter. The only issue I felt there was was the cleanliness. When you are standing inside, you can quite literally see years of caked on dirt on some of the not frequently touched surfaces. The lamps probably had an inch of dust built up. Although this isn't the most important detail, it still makes me question the cleanliness of the whole establishment.
