Got pizza and a Big Gulp--err Super Gulp--they were out of Big Gulp cups. That kind of explains how this experience went. I expected to get a few things and zoom out. The store is located at a busy intersection next to a filling station and a shopping center. It was easier to go around the back to park in the lot, rather than try to directly turn into their lot. I went to the drink fountain and found that most of the cups were missing. The employee told me that the Big Gulp cups were on order and that they had Super Gulp for $1.00 until then. I also poured a Slurpee for a buddy and that went fine. I got two slices of the pepperoni (that may be an exaggeration!) pizza and they had some deal for that with a Big Gulp. Now, since they didn't have the Big Gulp...I'm still confused. The employee had to help me several times, as though I was a senior citizen but we both got through the experience. The other 7-Eleven, nearer to Target is much more organized, I think. Oh, and getting out of the parking lot--geez, I think I should have parked somewhere else and walked to the store.

I thought the orange chicken kabob was bomb. The clerk was really cute too. I approve of this location all thought didn't give me a discount lol.

Super old so it's super hard and dried out

The atmosphere is super welcoming perfect whether you're just vibing, on your laptop, or catching up with someone. The service stands out too-staff are friendly, attentive, and actually take care of you, not just rush you through. You can tell they care about what they're serving. The place itself stays really clean, including the seating area and even the restrooms, which is always a big plus. It gets busy, but it's because people genuinely enjoy being there. Overall, great drinks, great service, clean environment, and a solid vibe all around. Definitely one of those spots you keep coming back to.

I try to make it here every trip home because it is so damn good. Let's start with the goods: the dirty horchata is done very well. Not overly sweet but you actually taste the rice & cinnamon and all the things that make horchata wonderful. The only thing that would make it better is if they offered this dairy free but minor detail! I will suffer lol The cafe con leche is delic! Brown sugar & cinnamon, another unbeatable combo. You really can't go wrong with any drink here. Not only is the space beautiful but the staff is super kind. My 83 year old dad is not comfortable ordering in coffee shops like this and they're always patient and helpful. No notes, 10/10 recommend.

Bagel Tyme - Breakfast bagel on everything bagel

Yummy bagels! I…read morestopped by Bagel Tyme with some friends on a weekend morning. If I could describe this place in one word it would be "BUSY." The line to order was wrapped around inside the shop and out the door. I would say the bagels are 100% worth the wait though. They offer a wide variety of fresh bagels, cream cheeses, and toppings. They even have a sandwich menu! I ordered the Beesting Bagel Sandwich which comes on your choice of bagel with egg, bacon, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and a hot honey drizzle. It was absolutely delicious! The bagels were super soft with a nice crust on the outside. The cream cheese was perfectly thick and creamy. The hot honey drizzle really tied everything together well! Because it was so busy, it did take a while to receive our food. The line to order, although long, did go by pretty quickly. There were some tables inside but it was too crowded to find a spot. Luckily we were able to find a table outside while we waited for our orders. Whenever an order was ready, the workers walked around both inside and outside shouting the name of the order which made it convenient for us to not have to fight the crowd to the counter. The only issue I felt there was was the cleanliness. When you are standing inside, you can quite literally see years of caked on dirt on some of the not frequently touched surfaces. The lamps probably had an inch of dust built up. Although this isn't the most important detail, it still makes me question the cleanliness of the whole establishment. Despite this, I won't be held back from revisiting if I am in the area again!

They also missed on my son's order, he ordered two bagels and only got one, so he had to go back and order the second one again. The bagels themselves were good, and the place has a nice independent vibe. I wanted to like it, and would go back, just wish they would listen better.

My friend and I were looking for a place halfway to meet. I found these guys on Yelp. Great reviews so I thought we would give it a try. It is a treasure! The place is cute. It's comfy with good oldies playing in the background. The food was amazing and seasoned perfectly. Their Portuguese beans is a family recipe and the best beans I have ever tasted. Biscuits and gravy was delicious. They are homemade and you can taste the love in it. We had the tri tip and like everything else - blown away how tender and flavorful it was. I was out in Merced a little too early for a work meeting, and wanted some coffee, but not a chain place. Lucky me I was actually just down the street from Jenny's bakery. I was warmly greeted as I came in and immediately feel the family charm of this business. Oldies were playing on the radio, and Jenny's husband was getting things ready in the kitchen. When I found out the Portuguese breakfast was her family recipe beans, and a half order of biscuits and gravy, I was set on what I wanted. I was provided an colorful coffee mug and allowed to have coffee to my hearts content. I opted for the holiday blend. It had a lovely hint of spices, but was not overwhelming. I had no longer sat down than my nice pipping hot bowl of Portuguese beans was placed in front of me and I thought it was a half order. They say it's a half order but that is the huge biscuit and with gravy you would need a party of four to finish. The flavor of the beans were just wonderful. I filled myself up on those and then sopped up some of the beans gravy with the biscuits. My taste buds were very happy. My stomach was over full. I enjoyed some banter with Jenny and her husband along with some patrons that came in. They really try to make everyone feel so much like they're just walking into a family kitchen. I highly recommend a stop and introduce yourself and make some new friends and find yourself a lovely bakery. That's been there right around the corner from the park.
