We love donut king especially now that we have one in Kaneohe. I try to go here when ever I can since I work early I don't always get a chance to swing by. From the ham and cheese croissants to their doughnuts everything is always so good. I also always try to grab one of their drinks, today we went with a mocha frappe. Parking is nice because it's in the shopping center and their hours are convenient as well. read more

I'm very picky with doughnuts, but Donut King is my go to spot whenever I have cravings for them. I will 100% rave about their croissant bites. Never had them till I tried DK and it's been my favorite thing to buy since. Their doughnuts are exceptionally good and so are their croissants sandwiches. They have regular doughnuts, croissant doughnuts and cake doughnuts. Very different from your typical doughnut chain. I will say that it can be pricey, so Donut King is more of a special treat for me if anything. Other than that their service is quick and smooth and would recommend trying their different pastries. read more

The Doughnut King is a small space next to central pacific bank in the Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center across from Windward Mall. While the space previously was large enough to hold a small restaurant, the new layout means the counter and display take up about half of what used to be the restaurant's space, with the other side left open. There are a few chairs by the doors, but sitting at the open air tables by diagnostic labs is probably better. I went on a saturday morning around 9:10, and it was not busy. I got the red velvet doughnut and the maple cronut right away, and it was a fast checkout. The red velvet is solid. Not too much to say that makes it stand out from other versions of the cake. But it was moist inside, with a nice slightly firmer outside and glaze. A perfect safe option for picky eaters or when you want something simple but delicious. The maple cronut was a softer cronut with a lot of give. The outside has a little crunch like you'd expect, while the inside is buttery and more doughy but also has a lot of air bubbles making it feel larger than it is. The flavor is nice and not overpowering. A cronut might be best paired with a coffee or other drink as it starts to feel heavier towards the end. Still very good, but it may be better to save half for later. read more

Highly recommend local family with delicious and Ono donuts. I highly recommend going early when they open because they do tend to sell out. I like to provide these donuts from my employees. It is delicious and I definitely am a repeat customer. read more

Two words: Croissant Bites Makes this whole shop worth the trip. So why not 5 stars? Because they sell out so fast and then that's it. No more magic. Then the other donuts are fine but overpriced. The space is clean and the people are friendly. And I will always roll the dice stopping to check for those delish bites read more

After Kaneohe Bakery and Deluxe Pastry Shop closed in Kaneohe, we really didn't have anywhere to get FRESH donuts, until Donut King decided to open a location in Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center. The donuts are expensive, but worth it! They're soft, fluffy, and ohhh so sweet! My favorites are the glazed, chocolate covered yeast (with sprinkles of course), apple fritter, and the croissant bites. read more

First time I had Donut King was in Kailua from a recommendation now that they have one in Kaneohe, I see myself getting my donut fix from now on. My go-to favorite is the croissant bites! Delicious mini croissant covered in a glaze is a must try! The long john was okay, I've had better at other places. I'll stick with the croissant bites. Ordered a cookies and cream frappe, asked the employee if it had coffee in it since it said "frappe" only for her to say it doesn't have any and it was more like a milkshake. The drink was okay, the chocolate on it had a stronger taste and overpowers the taste of what should've been cookies and cream. read more

Love this Donut Chain on Oahu! Today is the first day I came to this location and it tasted the same as the other location I frequent. My favorite is a glazed donut. The dough is soft and the glaze coats the entire donut. I do wish they had the glazed donut with chocolate filling in the middle. The Custard filled Long John is also very good. Dough is soft and custard filling has just the right amount of sweetness to it. I do wish I could get some fresh warm donuts, but I seem to never go in at the right times. One day! Definitely my go to donut spot on the island!! read more

The main reason I will stop by is for the breakfast croissant either the bacon cheese and egg or the sausage cheese and egg. Just one is sufficient for most people, and of course the specialty donuts are really good too. Although the prices are definitely on the higher side the quality of the food is excellent. Service is pleasant and professional from the counter as the location doesn't have any tables to sit and consume your food. Would have given 5 star rating except for the price point of the goods. read more

Donut King has several locations in Honolulu (Waikiki and Kapahulu area), Kailua, and finally, one in Kaneohe! Located at Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center, Donut King occupies the end unit, next to the pho restaurant. It's closest to the corner of Kamehameha Highway by Central Pacific Bank. There's lots of free shared parking and friendly, efficient service! This new business is clean and bright with cute decor! I got a chocolate sprinkled Donut... fluffy and soft... and a Mocha frappe... made with non-dairy creamer! It was the perfect afternoon snack! Thank you! read more

Yay! I love it when Kaneohe gets a new business of any kind, so glad Donut King Hawaii opened a location in Kaneohe since the two bakeries in Kaneohe closed down. Donut King is located next to Kaneohe Safeway in the smaller building with Panda Express and L&L Bbq, lots of parking available. They have coffee, fancy frappes, Breakfast croissant sandwiches and donuts galore. I got the famous Maple Bacon donut for $4.99 and a half dozen croissant bite donuts for $3.95. They have ham and cheese breakfast sandwiches for $9 and a bacon egg and cheese, sausage egg and cheese and egg and cheese for $10.99 The maple bacon donut was really good, generous amounts of bacon The croissant bites w sugar glaze are also yummy as well, . So happy to have a new option in Kaneohe! read more

Kaneohe is definitely a foodie town. Soon Kaneohe will be adding Donut King Hawai'i to its list of local favorites to grab breakfast and snacks. They will be opening soon in the space previously occupied by Kenko-Ya, with neighbors of Central Pacific Bank, Pho My Vi, Sumo Ramen, L&L Drive Inn and Panda's. Glad we have a bakery in Kaneohe after two beloved bakeries in Kaneohe closed down. Although this one only serves donuts and not pies, cakes or breads, it's a fairly new establishment. They may not have all the donuts availability like the other locations, I found out that the cake donuts are only made here on the weekend , but the croissant donut holes, long John's and croissant donuts are a must try! So yummy! What I did not like and brought down the stars was if you have a phone order you can just "cut" in line and pay for your order. There is no signage saying phone order pick up here. I thought that was awfully rude that a guy standing in line behind me just went ahead of me and said "phone order" and the girl rung him up. Other than that this location doesn't make all the donuts on the daily. read more

Never been to a donut king before so this was my first experience. Didn't have a lot of selection and their breakfast sandwiches were kinda expensive in my opinion. Donut King has opened a new location located in the Kaneohe Bay shopping center. The shop itself is cute, and I tried a half a dozen donut holes, a cinnamon crumble donut, and a coconut ube donut. The donuts were soft, chewy, and had a nice texture-- moist and good taste. However, I felt the coconut ube donut could have been a bit more ube flavor. Overall, everything was good, though nothing particularly wowed me. It's a solid spot for a quick donut treat, and they also have other items like espresso and shakes, which I'd be curious to try. Maybe that's where the real standout items are. Unfortunately, the service wasn't super friendly. I had asked a question, but the lady working didn't seem very helpful. read more

This is the best donut shop on Oahu! For years I've tried other places but can't beat these folks for variety, taste of the donuts and helpful staff. Only bad part is expect long lines (that's what happens when you're popular, lol!) and they will run out of popular flavors. I used to like Krispy Kreme but prefer these folks instead. They have croissant bites or donut holes (great taste & melts in your mouth), large cinnamon rolls, Ensemadas, twists, cake donuts and my favorite, maple-bacon donut with strips (yup not the bacon crumbles) generously placed on top. Check these folks out and go early if you want to see all they have. Enjoy! read more

So I'm not a sweet tooth like I used to be when I was younger. Don't crave for donuts or anything similar on the regular. But today felt like I needed that sugar fix. Knowing that Donut King recently open in Kaneohe I always meant to come in and try. I've had Donut King donuts before from coworkers who bring them into the office to share so when I heard they finally opened a spot here I was stoked. Had a day off and it was raining so it felt like the perfect time to get it. Everything looked so good but I went for something I knew I liked which were the croissant donut holes. Got a dozen of those to share and one custard filled chocolate covered donut for the kid. The total was $11.25. There was no one when I came in but more people showed up when I was leaving. The cashier was nice, though I didn't do any interaction cause I wanted to pick something and get out before I end up buying more stuff. Let me tell you all their offerings look so good. But I'm proud of myself for having the willpower to not buy more than I should. Recently opened, their space looks very nice, clean, and fresh. If you're ever in Kaneohe they open at 6 am, stop by. read more

Sweet service with a sweet treat! There was no line when I went at 8:00am, Upon entry I WAS greeted warm & friendly! (I just read the other reviews- that people were ignored- common problem in Kaneohe in general - don't take it personal, lack of training rather than rudeness) was helped by a new Employee in training, I asked if they had breakfast sando without Cheese, she said no but offered hesitantly to take out the cheese. (Maybe it's not policy) I really appreciate This extra effort! as I prob wouldn't have spent the $9+ if not. Best Fresh Croissant- 10/10!! I feel these extra little things are what keep people coming back. Warm greeting (corporations have done studies= customer should be greeted upon 3 seconds of entering your shop), -thank you and extra effort. I've had donuts & croissant bites ONO! Kids love to pick out their choice for a special treat! Coffee was also a 10/10 similar crush ice to CoffeeBean . As I look at the biz I feel the effort put into all *better the Starbucks and so close! read more
