Never underestimate the presentation and taste of a glazed donut! Best tasting glazed donuts on O'ahu! I was in awe to witness the fall then observing the dough rise and return to its original state after taking each bite of Ube coconut, biscotti, and mini donuts in cooler temperature. Glazed ube was not overpowering and texture of fresh grated coconut tasted amazing! Also loved the biscotti glaze plus the original cookie! Indulged in ube coconut and mini donut during mid morning snack. Consumed biscotti and mini donut for afternoon snack. Yes, I did fifty minutes of speed walking after work in the neighborhood to burn off calories and get rid of guilty pleasures. Big thank you to my colleague for going out of her way to pick up these amazing donuts! Delectable! Delicious! Divine! Befitting for the king and queen!
Hands down the absolute best donuts in Hawaii! Every time I visit the islands, stopping by Donut King is a non-negotiable must. Their chocolate doughnut is ridiculously rich, super soft, and fresh, and the donut holes are pure bite-sized perfection. The dough is so incredibly pillowy and melt-in-your-mouth. I will definitely be returning every single time I'm in Hawaii!
My favorite is the croissant bites. They are so delicious and the perfect bite size. There's a lot of options and everything looks so good
8:30am on a Saturday. Cheat day! Tons of parking in private lot. One door to enter, one door to exit. Please conform to the traffic flow. Clerks are super friendly, courteous and conscientious. I wish there was a little bit of soft music playing. It always helps me decide what to order. Did you ever think of that? Music dictates your mood and wakes up your tastebuds. They have grown since I was here last. They serve boba teas and other drinks. Donuts are so wonderful. So fluffy and tasty and it is a real chore deciding what to get. Aw heck, just get one of EVERYTHING!
I stopped by Donut King in Hawaii and tried a variety of donuts. A few were fresh and delicious, but some tasted like they had been sitting for a while. I think with better freshness control, this place could be much better. I'd like to give it another try. Service are just ok. Plenty of parking!
After trying donut king years ago, I've never even considered going to Krispy Kreme, or any other donut shop. Literally like biting into little pieces of heaven. Yeast donuts melt in your mouth and are so moist you'll never end up with a dry one. My dad enjoys his cake donuts and is also a huge fan. They've got bacon and maple donuts which are also a great option for sweet and salty. Also can't go wrong with classic glazed or sprinkles. However, my favorite small snack are their croissant bites, especially when they're fresh and warm! They're so light and just the right amount of crispy. Luckily I don't live close to one of their locations or else I'd be there every day...

The friendly staff adds to the delightful experience, always ready with a smile and recommendations if you're unsure what to try. I'm disappointed that I didn't get a name of the staff that helped us, she deserves a special shout out. If you're visiting from out of town.... Stop by, I promise you won't regret it.
Excellent customer service and really tasty donuts. Central location in Waikiki across from shops and hotels. It's a really small shop however. So no seating and anymore than 3 people in line ordering is crowded.
I always come here for the cronut bites - they're such a good deal and always hit the spot. The other donuts are pretty standard, nothing too special, but those cronut bites make it worth the trip every time.
My husband and I were near Kaimuki today, and decided to get a sweet treat at Donut King in market city shoppingcenter. We haven't been there in a couple of years, and they were great! Customer service was great! As soon as we walked in, the young girl behind the counter acknowledged us, and asked if we were ready to order. The store was clean. We gave her our order and was in/out very quickly. They did not disappoint! From their classics like the twisted glaze, long John and yeast donut with sprinkles to the fancier stuff like the cronut... sooo delicious! All of their donuts are a generous size and so soft and fresh! With each bite, it just melts in your mouth! Donut King donuts will always be a favorite!

The staff was super inviting gave us some good recommendations the croissant bite had great flavor a nice crunch to it good flake and for the money great by 5 out of five. The unfield bar or what I would call A Long John with chocolate icing it was nice and soft had a good crisp texture to the outside the chocolate was smooth if I'd have stayed longer I'd have out bought another one I give the overall experience of 5 out of five when I'm back I'll be back

Dash For Da Donuts #11- spontaneous edition. We Did It! The Dash made it for 2026, a last minute, "hey we didn't do it yet" to keep the streak alive. Bought some of their soft delights met with some Yelp Elite "King Pins" from the Yelp community- Nadine, Kim and Roz Spontaneous, because this was a spur of the moment celebration of a long running event of the donut community that was added to a meet up with one of the original dash participants 11 years ago that lives on the mainland. Donut King has hosted our dash multiple times over the years- we plan to do a more "formal" uye dash Nov or Dec to coincide with their Hawaii founding and 10th anniversary. Update 7-11-26 Donut King their flagship store located in the Market City Shopping Center . Now I believe they're all over Waikiki, Kailua, Kaneohe . My go to is their Croissant Holes . If you haven't try it yet it's a must . That's my favorite more than the donut holes . Service is fast and friendly and I decided to get a long John as well. Their long John is huge compared to other places plus they fill it with custard throughout the donut . Not like Nap.....Bakery and Lil... Bakery ha ha . Dare I say it... Donut King Hawai'i might have some of the best donuts on the island. Everything is always so fresh, soft, and seriously delicious. You can taste the difference. My personal favorites: maple bacon, strawberry sprinkle, chocolate sprinkle, cinnamon crunch, and of course, you can't go wrong with a classic glazed. Service is just okay, but honestly the donuts more than make up for it. For each donut, it's a bit on the pricier side, but totally worth it for the quality. I think this may have been the first donut king store to open in Hawaii. This location may have the best variety of donuts (I think) of all their other locations. Service was good ok the day I visited, but the donuts are not cheap. But what is nowadays. Grab and go and have your donut outside ~ no inside tables here! read more

Hands down best donuts on the island. Idk why I'm so late to the game but their donuts are amazing! Soft, moist, melt-in-your-mouth donuts with just enough glaze to satisfy your sweet tooth. Called ahead to order croissant bites and order was ready to go upon pick up. I picked up my order around noon and they still had a full display of donuts. I couldn't help but snag a couple before leaving. The Oreo chocolate donut was sooo good and the maple bacon is a definite must. The service was friendly and quick. Store is small and clean. CROISSANT BITES! Get the croissant bites. Please. Their croissant bites are mini bite sized glazed croissants that are super addicting and a dozen isn't enough. So please try them if you haven't yet! Their donut holes are really good too. Their super soft every time! They have a variety of donuts, both yeast and cake and jelly filled. Located in the Market city shopping mall on near Kaimuki High School. There is a Foodland Supermarket and many other restaurants and businesses sharing the parking lot and also the restrooms. Thank you Kesha for the drop off of the delicious donuts for our morning breakfast! We enjoy the donuts from donut king because it is light and fluffy with a lot of flavor, they have many different types of donuts to choose from. Go early because they do sell out quickly read more
This update is limited to the croissant bites. At $3.95 for 1/2 dozen, these delectable delights are worth the hype. Crispy, flaky bites with a crème brûlée like glaze. There was a line going into this place today. I wondered if there would be any left by the time I came up to the counter to place my order. You must go early to try these delights. I was able to take pictures this time around. This is a small, but cheerful place. The glass display showcases are clean and attractive. 5/5 stars for the croissant bites. read more

Croissant bites and donut holes are my go to!!! Great option to bring to a gathering since they're bite size and so yummy. Other donuts are good but extremely pricey. Stick to the donut holes and croissant bites! FYI their croissant bites do sell out. You can call ahead and reserve them if you plan to pick up later in the day. Located in market city, parking available but the lot is always busy. Be patient. read more
How did I not know about this place a long time ago?! I stumbled upon Donut King Hawaii on accident. I went to Ben Franklin one day and noticed this small donut spot. They had different types of donuts there. We got a dozen different donuts and let me tell you, they were all amazing! We definitely will be back for more. My daughter says, "Mom, you've got to try these donuts. They're the best in Honolulu!" The shop is in a food-filled strip mall. Cases of donuts greet us as we walk in and a paper dragon hangs over the checkout counter. Clerks are friendly and efficient. My daughter recommends the donut holes, but says her friends like the croissant "holes". I order 6 of each. She has her hands in the bag before I can get a pic! The donut holes melt in your mouth. They are light with a slightly crunchy glaze. They are delicious. The croissant "holes" have a heavier texture and equally delicious. If you're lucky you can find parking in the lot. read more

No catering but we do take pre order for any large order.
What time should I go? I wanna get many kinds of doughnuts. On weekend, are the doughnut sold faster than weekday?
I went on on a Saturday morning, around 7 am and get plenty donuts and pastries behind the glass case.
