I went in again on 9/2, however, and was very disappointed. First, the good: Their bagels are very good and they don't skimp on the lox, as the other bagel shop I frequent tends to do. Now, the bad: I ordered a sesame seed bagel with scallion cream cheese and lox. Obviously, because I just mentioned it, this isn't my first time in a bagel shop. In fact, I frequent an excellent one just 2 towns over, so when I placed that order what I expected to get was an untoasted bagel with cream cheese topped with lox on both halves. What I got was a toasted bagel sandwich with cream cheese on one half and lox on the other. First, they should ALWAYS ask if the customer wants the bagel toasted. I didn't want it toasted and wasn't expecting to get it that way. A good bagel stands on its own and doesn't need toasting (the exception, of course, is for those who prefer butter in their bagels). I may return. I'm not sure, but I'll definitely make sure I specify it remain untoasted if I do. PS - if they're making pumpernickel bagels (the other bagel shop no longer does, because of poor sales) maybe some could be made without raisins?

The cookies were fresh and packed so well you would have thought they were Ming vases! My husband was thrilled with his treats and I admit, I ordered a few extra to enjoy myself. The price is high, as is the quality. However, due to the prices, Fancy Pants cookies will probably be a 'sometimes food' (credit to Cookie Monster). Worth the occasional indulgence - and so nice to encounter such responsive and friendly customer service!

I provided a picture and a poem, and custom cake drew the picture and poem beautifully on the cake, and I am really impressed. Snickerdoodle decaf coffee is the best. I usually cannot find actual flavored decaf coffee. Most places just use flavor shots and I don't like the flavor shots because of the added sugar. Also, their breakfast sandwhiches are AH-Mazing! They use real eggs and everything and butter the bagel first. Oh em gee! Whenever I have a cheat day I indulge. read more
