Just okay. Another factory made cookie. Surely you have local bakeries with fresher, tastier treats.

It doesn't have the square footage that Northborough has. But it has everything you need to get the proper Wegs experience. This location is still rather large, especially for a supermarket. You can find an extensive cheese department, along with wines and beers. Like most Wegs, you'll find that the essentials are quite affordable. Even organics are decently priced. You'll run into a little trouble with prepared foods if you're on a budget, though. At one point, their hot food bar was more pricey that Whole Foods. The dining section is clean and well-lighted. It's a decent place to meet up. Service is generally friendly here though I don't really need to seek out help, other than at the check-out counter or customer service. Usually though experiences have been positive. The major advantage is that Wegs is open until midnight, which is great for those that want a less crowded shopping experience (clutch during the pandemic).

I called to confirm specifics on the cake design, and submitted two weeks in advance. 24 hours before pickup time, I received a confirmation email/reminder to pick up the cake. 12 hours before pickup, at 9PM, I received a call saying they could not make the cake design, and cited a copy right issue. Wegmans had no response to me asking why I was informed so late, and no response to me that I previously called to confirm they could do this cake. Honestly, leaving me to try to fix my 6 year olds birthday cake for his party with less than 10 hours before the party should be zero stars...

I have been to the Stop & Shop in Walpole, Massachusetts. The store is very clean and the aisles…read moreare wide. My main grip is that the items on the bottom shelves are so low. They are right down by the floor. Unless you pull up each item that you might be interested in you can't see what there is. Going down that low as a senior citizen I am afraid of falling. I don't know of any other market in the area that has the items in shelves that low. Sometimes the items on sale are not available. My recent experience was an item in the seafood department that was not in the case, and there was only one employee for meat and seafood. He was in the back and there was no way to contact him. He came out and he took a bit to get his attention. However, I will continue to shop at this at this market as well as big Y and Walmart

The young man I spoke to on the phone sounded like he was in training because he had to defer to someone else in ear shot, I was told that I can come in and get refunded the difference but he never apologized for the inconvenience, just that little bit of empathy would have gone a long way at least with me. Even when you are about to hang up, he could've said have a nice day, but nothing except a "bye". Not even a Good-bye!!! I feel bad having to post this but after ringing up and bagging my own groceries, I think a little courtesy isn't too much to ask for.

Peggy had a bad day"…read more I'm honestly disappointed. Usually my experiences at Aldi is always a pleasant one. Almost to the point where I've said "thank you for being so nice" to a cashier that normally works there, it's just unfortunate that today was not the case. I had maybe 6 items which I already had a bag for so I didn't bother to grab a cart that I'd normally do when I'd come to shop. I put my items down and the cashier at the register said " Peggy is is about to open you can head over there. I get it, she was probably about to leave for the day or whatever but I did what I was told and placed my items on the next runway It was OBVIOUS that Peggy was already having a bad day so as she came to the register I smiled and said "thank you" Peggy then started tapping her hand and and firmly said "next time if you needed money for a cart we have it right here!!" I apologized and said " well I only have a few things and thought that it would not be a problem " Guess I was wrong because she then said with the same tone "well when you don't have a carriage it slows me down!!" I looked over at the next customer and she had a FULL cart of items so the next transaction was going to take a little more time than my 6 items which she jammed into the bag I had. But she wasn't done, after telling me my total she blurted out " you see how expensive things get?!?! " I just said thanks and told her to have a better day and left I'm coming off of a 10 hour shift and still needed to head home and cook for my family. I didn't need her attitude whatsoever. I can guarantee that if the tables were turned and it was me I probably wouldn't have a job any longer. I wanted to call and ask to speak with a manager but I felt that this would work just as well. Hope you had a better day Peggy, take care. Praying that my next experience at Aldis is better than this

It's really that bad. We go if we need some steaks only because other stores are shaving their steaks down to slivers. But it'll cost ya. The produce is really bad, usually old and rubbery. Go to Market Basket for better produce. Usually if we are making a steak dinner we buy all the ingredients at Market Basket and then come here to buy the steak. Everything here is about 10 to 20 percent higher cost. And it's obvious, the place is usually empty, you'll never see a lot of customers in this store.

Stopped into the Big Y in Franklin on Friday night around 5 PM looking for a quick, easy dinner…read more Headed straight to the prepared foods section and ordered the Beef & Blue panini along with an Italian sub. The sandwich looked and smelled great, but things went a little sideways. They were out of blue cheese for the panini, which happens -- no big deal. I even offered to grab a package from the cheese section myself, but was told that wasn't allowed. So American cheese it was. The real disappointment was the Italian. The salami still had the casing (skin) on it, and it was completely unchewable. I ended up having to peel it off slice by slice, which totally killed the experience. Nothing ruins a good-looking sandwich faster than fighting it just to take a bite. I'm sure I'll be back -- Big Y is usually solid -- but maybe not during the dinner rush. Attention to small details like this really matters. Big Y, do better.
