Donut Craze is a small shop tucked away on Michigan Avenue, and I can see why people say to get there early, they told me they sell out every day. The display case had a great variety, which made it hard to choose. I tried the chocolate glazed buttermilk and apple fritter. They were just okay for me. They had a noticeable fry oil taste that took away from the flavor, so they weren't really my jam. That said, the selection was impressive, and I'd still give them another shot. Next time I'll be back to try the cake donuts, since those might be more my style. read more

My new favorite donut shop. Completely discovered by accident, but what a wonderful find. Dane the owner is a very enthusiastic and talented baker. I picked a wide assortment of donuts to get a feel for what he offered and I was not disappointed. His homemade Bear Claw is easily the best I've ever had (admittedly I usually eat them prepackaged from gas stations). My wife also loved the donuts, especially the pistachio glazed, and she is the donut expert in my humble as far as I'm concerned. Talk about a hidden gem. read more

The Dunkin' down the road can just pack up shop and go. Not only are the donuts amazing, he also makes incredible paczkis and other baked goods. The selection is wide, ranging from raised, to cake, to devils food cake, to jelly.. you name it, he probably has it! The shop itself is very mom and pop style, it feels so homey. There's always an amazing mural painted on the windows. The owner is always in there, with a huge smile on his face. My first time in, he insisted I "try before I buy". He seems like an incredible person to work for. My family and I are definitely hooked! read more

Omg I have not had a donut that tasted so fresh in some time. I came across the business randomly from social media share. I was out today and wanted something sweet. I said let me try something new. They recently opened in a small strip and I made the drive. It was out the way, but it's a nice day. The owner greeted me when I walked in and was very pleasant. It's a small shop and carryout. I bought a half dozen. There was a $1 upcharge for the fancy ones, but cinnamon rolls and apple fritters are my favorite to try anywhere I go. Amazing! They are still building out the menu. Bring small bills if you can as the business is growing. I try to carry cash when I shop small businesses. They do accept cards. I will definitely return when I need a donut fix. read more

Went there before work...I was greeted by a very nice man that told me if its my first time in then I get a free donut it was AMAZING! Absolutely delicious! Visiting from out of town and stopped by to try. The donuts are light, fluffy, and full of flavor without being overly sweet. Every bite tastes fresh, and the texture is perfect. In my opinion, they're way better than Krispy Kreme--richer flavor, better variety, and definitely homemade. You can see they are made fresh right in the back. If you're looking for donuts that are truly satisfying and melt in your mouth, this is the place to go. Highly recommended! A hidden gem in a strip mall that looks like it's seen its better days. Don't let the rough ambiance fool you because this place is simply Amazing! The food is fresh and service is friendly. There's a huge difference in how well these donuts taste compared to chains. Prices are great and so is the variety and they will add more soon as they just opened 3 weeks ago. I popped up this morning right at opening. I am so glad my husband sent me here. The hour commute was 100% worth it! The assortment this morning was less than normal according to the gentleman at the shop. So we will be returning! I raved to my family about it and they will be popping up themselves to check it out. I tried all of them when I got home and they are all SO good. The cinnamon roll has the perfect amount of cinnamon and was so light and fluffy. The donuts were so fresh and delicious.
