To celebrate Friday, a coworker picked these up and we enjoyed these delicious donuts happily. I personally had the apple fritter and I can't wait till I have another. Thank you so much for being in this community and being open early.

The fritters were huge. I should have taken the photos before we had the other donuts.

My hubby and I were craving doughnuts. They lived up to the name tasty. We purchased a dozen and got an assortments. I'm pretty boring I love glazed it had a soft glaze on the outside and the donut was moist like a cake. My husband got the fritters, they were pretty big and tasted soft like they were freshly made. All the donuts tasted fresh not like the chain donut places that taste stale. They were delicious we love to support small local businesses.

Love this old school donut and coffee shop in Flat Rock! No frills, but the coffee and donuts are top notch! My favorite donuts are the cherry chip, apple fritter, banana cream, and Boston cream. A dozen donuts are $8.75 and you can get a large coffee for $1.50. Give this a try, you won't regret it!

They're fresh and perfect with coffee, tea, a big glass of milk. I picked some up for a celebration at work and everyone was excited at the site of their name stamped on the box. I also tried the croissant breakfast sandwich and it was the best I've had, aside from anything I made myself at home. It was generous in size and you could easily share. My mind went to grabbing a coffee, bite to eat and a donut when you're starting off a road trip. The egg was about 1/2" thick throughout the sandwich, ham and cheese ratio was perfect, you could taste everything in each bite. I highly recommend this donut shop for friendly, quick and quality service. Will definitely be back!

Yum Yum is the right place, indeed. Whereas they don't focus too much on the fancy over the top donuts you see nowadays, they focus on the quality of old fashioned true-blue donuts. Yum Yum Donuts make quality donuts that stand the test of time and are better than any odd concoction some of these fancy donut places are trying too hard to achieve. I travel the country, and the world, going into different locations all year long. Whenever possible, I always try to find the best donut shop in the area. I'd rather go in empty handed than bring in any of the "fast-food" chain type of garbage donuts that many seem to flock to. I look for the real local donut shops that know how to deliver the goods. This is not only to impress, but also out of pure selfishness. I am a donut lover and connoisseur and grew up with a donut shop in my family. For this reason, I have a high bar however donuts don't have to be complicated to be good. Yum Yum Donuts hit all the marks. Selection of varieties, quality and price. Would I go back? I cannot wait to go back. Yum Yum is my go-to place for quality donuts in this area. When you bring in good donuts, people notice. Sure, people appreciate when you bring in the big chain fast-food donuts, but I have literally seen people put those donuts down when I come in with a box to two of the real deal. This is a fact. People appreciate the extra effort in bringing in the quality and showing your appreciation to them by doing so. Get some of these now, before they sell out for the day!

The case was absolutely gorgeous - filled with both yeast and cake donuts as well as this ham and cheese filled pretzel that I had read about and an amazing looking sticky bun. I was trying to get to work so I didn't have time to take a lot of photos. I chose the cake, chocolate covered donut, and the ham and cheese stuffed pretzel. I have no picture of this donut because I ate it in the car on the way to work because I just couldn't stand it. It was phenomenal. Of course a cake donut has a different texture than a yeast doughnut And it was soft yet cakey. I thought the chocolate icing was amazing. It was a little sweet, but I loved that about it. There are tables inside and a couple tables outside but as it is 29° I didn't sit outside. I jumped in my car and ate my donut on the way to work. The woman behind the counter said she is one of the owners, but I didn't get her name. I am bad. But she was lovely and just so kind.

Everything tasted fantastic and that flaky Cinnamon Roll had a great sweet and buttery flavor!! I still prefer the glazed but it was good! That bright sign on Woodward isn't just a place to grab a dozen; it's part of the city's DNA. Growing up, my grandmother went there all the time. And when I say all the time, I mean ALL the time. Weekends, random afternoons, "just because" mornings -- Dutch Girl was the move. Some of my favorite childhood memories are walking in and being hit with that sweet, warm smell of fresh donuts and seeing the cases stacked with every kind you could imagine. It felt like magic as a kid. The donuts themselves? Classic, no-frills, done-right Detroit goodness. Soft, fresh, and generously glazed or filled -- the kind of donuts that don't try to be trendy or over-the-top. They don't need to. They've been holding it down for generations. That's the beauty of a true staple: consistency. You always knew exactly what you were getting, and it was always good. If I'm being honest, the only reason I'm not rushing there now is because I had SO many of their donuts growing up that I might have maxed out my lifetime quota . When you've had that much of something, you need a little break. But that doesn't take away from what they are to the city. Dutch Girl Donuts represents Detroit pride -- resilience, tradition, and community. It's one of those places that connects generations. My grandmother loved it, I grew up on it, and new families are still making memories there today. In a city that's all about loyalty and roots, Dutch Girl stands tall. Forever a Detroit classic.
