Remember those bakeries from your childhood? This is one of those places. After years of stopping on Telegraph for a snack or gas, I finally typed in 'bakery' this morning and hit the jackpot! Roberto's has assorted holiday cookies in a box, angel wings, lots of donuts, brownies and cakes for sale. Excellent quality and you can taste the real butter in those cookies. The donuts are fresh and delicious. They have small cakes, perfect for 2 or 3 people to celebrate with (or just eat in the car- why not?). It was comfortable that they allow only 3 customers at a time in there during the pandemic and of course masks are worn. You need one of those brownies! Went in for the first time to pick up a dozen donuts for work. Everything looked delicious and honestly these were the best donuts I've ever had! My coworkers loved them too and with the few of us living in the area, they have gained some new customers. I can't wait to try some of the other goodies. The pepperoni, cheese, and sauce roll was great. They have a microwave so you can heat it up and unlike most places it's actually clean. Went here for lunch and they were quick and helpful. Happy Birthday to me! My sister was looking for a new bakery and did a little research around her place of work and found Roberto's. She read it had great reviews and stopped by. While there, she called me and asked what I wanted my birthday cake to be like. I've always loved coconut, even when most kids hated it, and my cakes would be some kind of towering pink confection with coconut flakes on the side. Well, I'm more sophisticated now, so I asked if they had a German Chocolate cake and they did. Fast forward to my birthday and this cake turned out to be the most chocolaty, moist, fantastic cake. The coconut was fresh and so were the nuts that decorated the sides! Two days later, the cake was as good as the first day. We are planning on going back to try the donuts! read more

This bakery is a mile from my house and am I lucky. They have a large variety of donuts as well as other bakery pastries. My favorites are the honey creme and yum yum. The filling in the honey creme is not gritty like some places and the yum yum is a cronut. The working men buy up the pizza rolls so get there early. It helps that I have to drive by this place twice a day - on the way to work, and coming home, for the last 23 years. Rats. Poor me. Everything that I have had from Roberto's has been on-point - cannoli's, cookies, cupcakes, cakes, pies, strudel, almond rings, donuts, bread, and more have been awesome. I get requests from co-workers to stop in the morning because they are craving something special. Creme Horns are amazing, long john's with cream (never custard creme), yum yums - the list is freaking endless. I used their products for 28 recruitment breakfasts and the applicants loved everything. A couple said they were going to stop on the way from downtown to the airport to get a couple of things. Staff has been cordial, courteous and fast with an early morning crowd waiting for their breakfast treats. I have never had an issue with their professionalism. Some are friendlier than others, but they are doing me a service that I don't want to do (you know like getting up at zero dark thirty and baking great stuff). Thank you! This place is good, really good! The pastries always fresh and the prices are reasonable, took one star because when I got home it wasnt exactly what I ordered but all of it was good. I was gifted such sweet glory this past week. I simply didn't order one of everything because I couldn't carry it all, and I'd go into diabetic shock. I got some strudel, blueberry and cheese to be exact. Just wow, get some; flaky, crunchy, sweet and gooy in the middle, perfect icing on top.
