They gave me this beautiful cake for only $25. This cake was truly magic with frosting. It was amazingly detailed and v tasty. So, keeping in mind it was a display cake and not really intended to ever be cut into, even the inside was overflowing with sweet touches. Old school bakery. Nothing flashy and all their focus is on the tasty treats coming out of their kitchen and to you the customer. We have been going here for years. I think they would do a bigger business if they cuted up the outside just a tiny bit because I think this fantastic independant bakery is over looked and I do not want it to go away. Someone dropped off a box of their donuts and work and these were great. A lot better then the usual donuts you get at any chain store, if i'm ever in the area i'll make it a point to pick some up. I kept hearing how good the donuts were here. I stopped in kind of late and they were sold out. In the short time I was there 3 different people came in for cakes. I asked if they had any slices for sale and I walked out with a piece of cherry chip cake that was very good and tasted homemade. I also bought a blueberry muffin that was loaded with blueberries. Small little bakery that's been around forever. Their donuts are some of the best I've ever had. The honey creams are my favorite, the cream is so good! Their yum yums are amazing, but they often run out so get there early. Their take and bake pizzas are really good too, and reasonably priced. I've tried their pies, the crusts are amazing, the fillings are good, but I prefer their donuts over everything. Maybe I came here on an off day? There wasn't a whole lot to choose from, so I opted for a pepperoni roll after reading someone else's glowing review of them. I would have bought something sweet as well, but nothing looked particularly tasty. When asked if the roll could be heated (they are kept in plastic bags on the counter) the attendant said "microwave's over there." So my friend and I microwaved our rolls, which I regretted, as it only served to render them more terrible. The bread seemed pretty old; it tasted like refrigerator and had a very unpleasant soft yet stale texture. Hidden within the bundle of bready sadness was some of the grossest pepperoni I've ever consumed in my lifetime. I think it was really cheap hotdogs masquerading as pepperoni. I knew after one bite of weird hotdog that this thing was a one-way ticket to acid reflux town, so I didn't finish it despite being very hungry. My friend ate all of his, and sure enough, spicy burps for the rest of the day. Unless you're in the market for a cake frosted to look like a taco or enjoy the indignity of public microwaving, I recommend looking elsewhere for your pastry and pizza roll needs. What can I say about this little gem.....I know amazing. They have by far the best homemade pepperoni and cheese rolls ever. They offer u-bake pizzas as well. As far as desserts go their iced brownies are superb. You need to get there early for those as they sell fast. The donuts are great as well. Especially the ones with a whipped cream type filling. I ordered a bachelor party cake that was supposed to be of a full women chest and abdominal torso and made of white cake. When I picked up the cake it was strictly of only the woman's chest and was yellow cake. I spoke with two different managers about this problem of which their excuse was "we have a new baker" and did not offer to fix the issue. I will not be going back to this bakery and will not recommend it to others. It is truly unfortunate because a family institutions bakery can make or break it. read more

M family has been going here for over 20 years and we are never disappointed. The specialty cakes are always moist and the butter cream icing is like no other bakery I have been to. When I first went to Roberto's for pepperoni rolls they were very good. Got some yesterday and they were terrible. Got pizza rolls, if they had sauce in them I sure couldn't see it, next to no cheese and if it had 2 pieces of pepperoni in it I would be surprised. It was 95 to 99 percent bread. If I wanted bread I would have just bought a loaf. It will be a very, very long time before I go back there. read more

This place used to be the best bakery around. In the past year, they have seriously gone way down hill. The customer service is disappointing. They have screwed up multiple cakes for myself and family members, including a child's birthday cake that you had to pretty much beg them to fix it because it looked a 3 year old decorated it. When they make a mistake, they are extremely rude when you call them out on it and will argue before they fix it. My paczki order was all wrong and I placed the order weeks in advance. For NYE, got a cake that was not baked all the way in the middle and hardly any frosting between the layers. That same day, I also got a couple of honey cream donuts, which used to be my favorite, and they had no filling in them and were really stale tasting. been going to this bakery for over 45 years when I was a child my father use to knock on the back door at 6am Saturday morning and the baker would hand him out 3 loafs of fresh baked bread oven hot!!! There was no better treat than oven hot french bread with fresh creamery butter!!! I went to Roberto's this morning to get my dozen donuts, which I've gotten from this place several times before (about once a month). Let me be clear: I come here because of location, close to me, and donuts are very good (can't vouch for anything else though). Before I come in, I always wonder if they'll get someone new in that will smile..... NO ONE SMILES HERE EVER! I remember the first time I came in... it was like another reviewer stated: "it's like the soup nazi"... no matter which woman is working the counter (I've had the bitchy young one and the bitchy slightly older one with spiked hair) they are like soup nazis! I thought maybe they didn't like asian people (I'm asian), but no, I've waited in line and this is the way they treat all people. Well, this morning I had enough.... in the past, their donuts were good enough (and location was convenient) to keep me coming back, despite their lack of courtesy and genuinely bitchy disposition. I'm waiting for them to refill the glass displays with donuts as they only had a few options available at that moment... I didn't say anything, was staying out of the way, and only after 3 people,, that I let go in front of me, I heard the spiked haired bitchy one say to me "if you're waiting for me to fill the cases with these donuts, I'm not going to. I'm just going to get them off the rack" - really? what is the case for then? Whatever... so I checked to see what they had on the racks and don't see any normal glazed donuts, so I ask "do you have any glazed donuts on the racks?"..... the bitch says "no" ... that's it? Not "no, sorry, we won't be making any more this morning" or "no, sorry, it'll be about 10 minutes or so before the next batch comes out" .... just "NO" with a scowl only a pit bull mother could love. I've had enough of bad service and pit bull dispositions... There are plenty of other places that make donuts! I ordered chocolate cake with raspberry filling, white cake with strawberry filling, and yellow cake with lemon filling. The cake is to die for! The presentation is also beautiful and very professional looking! My cousin also used Roberto's for their wedding cake and all the guests raved about how delicious the cake was. The BEST part?
