Both times, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We were greeted when we arrived, checked on throughout our visits, and everyone made sure we had what we needed. The owner was also there walking around, interacting with guests, and was very friendly. The food was just okay. The first night they were only offering the happy hour menu, so I ordered the catfish nuggets and fries. The catfish nuggets were fried golden brown, flavorful, and seasoned well. The only downside was the very small portion of fries. The second visit, the full menu was available. I still ordered the platter with three fling wings, two pieces of fish, and fries, plus an additional side of macaroni and cheese. The fish and wings were good, but the mac and cheese was just average. I was expecting more of a baked Southern-style mac and cheese, but it didn't quite deliver. The drinks were the biggest disappointment. We tried the rum punch and had to send it back to be remade, but the second one was no better. The sangria was extremely watered down. Both were $10 on the happy hour menu, and unfortunately, I would not recommend either. Also, a shot of tequila is $16 so keep that in mind. The canned sodas ($3) were a better option. The atmosphere is nice. There's a bar area in the front , music playing, a DJ for special events, a beautiful outdoor garden area for dining, and plenty of TVs throughout the restaurant, making it a great place to watch a game or hang out with friends. My biggest issue was cleanliness. Several tables and the floors were sticky, and even the condiment bottles (tartar sauce, ketchup, and house sauce) were greasy. Those details really matter and are something the restaurant should pay closer attention to. The full menu can get a little pricey, so if you're going mainly for a game watch party or to enjoy the atmosphere, I'd suggest going during happy hour. Overall, Just Fish has a great vibe, friendly staff, and a fun sports-bar atmosphere, but the food and drinks and cleanliness need some improvement.
