I repeat do not!!!!!!!!! ever go to the poorly put together place .BLACK LIVES MATTER, I request a mani/ pedi , I knew the worker never knew what she was doing when she started to do my nails she put oil and use the clipper a hot towel and lumpy polish , then the foot she removed the polish no clipping the Emory board to even my nails, then she turn on the water dip my foot took it out and polished with lumpy polish. I paid and no tip because lack of proper service , then the owner approached me ..where is the tip for my worker and you can't use your phone in here , I said next time so she started pointing her finger in my face and spit coming from her mouth in front of the two customers and her workers , you must tip !!!! took my phone out and stated to video she jumped on me to take my phone remember I just took off my cast from a broken ankle that day feb8/2024, she never succeeded to snatch my phone , so she said get out !!!! I said I'm not leaving until my nails dry , then she called the police , the only thing the short one claimed he told her outside she cannot force me to tip , but I'm black so they supported her with everything else and told me they cannot give me a report .I have pic and videos of the scene read more

I come here out of necessity. Its close, they do an ok job. Powder mani is good - not the best but good enough. Pedis are just a quick foot wash, some cuticle cutting and a rush paint job - will do in a pinch. read more

I recently moves to Lynbrook and was on a quest to find a new nail salon. I've been to Donna's nails twice but I'm sure i wont be back. It's very pricey and it's almost as if, if you don't order the most expensive service then you won't get your nails done even halfway decent. I could be wrong! However, it's a no for me. Look at my feet! I forgot to add that i got my eyebrows done with the pedicure at that time. I was burned by the wax and my skin took about a week to heal. It really hurt! read more

This place has been around for a long time. It is Asian owned. I've been going there off and on for 10 years. The staff is friendly enough but the service is so so. $20 for a simple pedicure and an additional $8 for the callous treatment. I had a pedicure done and my little nephew said, " auntie I could have done a better job". Now that's shameful! The polish is already flaking off in some spots and the nails and surrounding areas were not even cleaned up nicely. Such a disappointment . I guess I'm in pursuit of a new place. read more

Always welcoming staff and efficient staff. I'm not sure why the other review is complaining about prices. I went to another salon close by and the cost was close to double the amount. The owners Jasmine and her sister in law Jennifer work tirelessly to make sure the salon is clean and are constantly updating their equipment. Colors are so many that it's hard to make a choice . The first day I walked in Jasmine took one look at my nails and said no good too thick, doesn't look natural. Sorry but I've never had a bad experience here. I love this place and have gone there for several years. I'm not a weekly patron, but rather I go there every 3-4 weeks for a pedicure. Mary does my pedicures and she is GREAT! The problem is I made an appointment and when I arrived Mary was giving someone else a pedicure. I didn't mind waiting a little while, but after she did the pedicure on this other person, she proceeded to give her a manicure! Meanwhile, the owner had put me in the chair to soak my feet. All this waiting was not bothering me too terribly much, but after the pedicure I found a reddish colored polish on my white jacket! I had it stashed in my seat. Not to go on and on, but the next day, very doubtfully, I put my jacket in the cleaners for $18.95! Then I went to Donna Nails to confront the owner. All I really wanted was an apology, though offering a free pedicure would've been appreciated. (Not happening this lifetime!) She didn't acknowledge the wait time (though I'm retired, I did end up spending 2 hours in there), nor did she take any blame for the polish. She kept telling me it was impossible. I am very upset about this. I totally looked forward to those pedicures with Mary. Now I am forced to go elsewhere as I cannot be treated so shabbily as a regular customer. I guess this review will have to be my closure. P.S. the jacket came out clean! read more

My manicure looks good but the cleanliness and sanitation practices of this salon is questionable. The station I sat down at for my manicure was so visibly dirty. Not sure if the equipment was sterilized before me but the buffer she used on me was so worn down. My nail tech actually stopped doing my nails to work on a woman who sat down next to me and started using the same equipment on her without sanitizing and then used it on me again. In general, the whole experience felt rushed and not relaxing at all. Don't think i'll be coming back here. read more

I saw a gel manicure was $20 and even asked the owner if it was $20 and she said yes. I must have asked 3 times because I only had $25 to spend on nails.. the lady proceeded to do my nails and since it was my first time there I wasn't sure how they did things but the way she was doing it I should have known better. When she finished the manager said it's going to be 30$. I looked at her and said you told me it would be 20 and she told me everybody gets the SNS Nails its a very popular now- even though that's not what I said I wanted. She proceeded to charge my card $30 and that's when I lost my cool. I told her I did not ask for these services and I will never return again and she didn't even seem to care. She didn't even try to work out a deal with me saying I'm sorry for the misunderstanding trying to keep my business but I guess as a younger girl they really didn't care. The manager was rude and snobby and especially to my friend who was in the bathroom a little bit longer because she wasn't feeling well. The lady made me get up for my manicure to check on myfriend in the bathroom. overall not a good experience and rude staff. will not return read more

I am a clean freak. I sat for a manicure and was grossed out by all the dirty bottles and supplies sitting on the table I was sitting at. Otherwise the place seemed clean. I think by not wiping all those containers down and keeping it all dust free says a lot about an establishment. I was also disappointed that the nail tech did not soak my fingers to soften up my cuticles. I will not go back again read more

I love this place. Extremely clean and well managed. Prices are fair and most importantly they do a fantastic job. Everyone is friendly and professional. If you make an appointment they honor it. They are welcoming to walk ins as well. Many compliments on my nails. Been coming here about 18mos. Much better than other local places. I'm back to say that I can't imagine the poor reviews being for the right salon. Maybe these reviewers are just having a bad day! Still love Donna Nails! read more

I was not at all satisfied with the service or cleanliness of the equipment. I have never had a manicure without having my nails soaked first. Furthermore I still see hangnails on my hands. I would not go back to this place. read more
