Joy (my nail tech) is such a pleasure and always leaves my nails looking fantastic. The other nail techs are also very friendly and do a great job too. I've tried gel manicures, dip powder and now UV gel. They also have a huge variety of colors and keep current with nail trends. Most recently I tried magnetic polish which I LOVED. She also pressured me for a tip, glaring over my shoulder to see how much I was giving--very uncomfortable. During the massage, she was invasive, staring me up and down and eyeing my jewelry, and the massage itself brought my leg cramps back. I asked for round nails, but she pushed almond. The result? Out of 10 nails, only 3 looked almond-shaped. The rest were an inconsistent mix of pointy and round. Bottom line: my money is my money. The service felt pushy, invasive, and unprofessional.

I got a pedicure and gel manicure, and they have a large swatch of colors that are part of their 'match' polishes- which means the gel polish for the manicure is the same exact color as the regular polish for your pedicure...so no more matching guess work! The colors include Opi and Essie as well as another brand which is the match system I just described. I'm writing this post a month after my service, and my toes are still pained! My gel mani lasted just over two weeks, so it was a good job! I wash dishes every night, so I was impressed. Again, it wasn't busy when I was there, so I don't know if the service skews when they're busy, like so many other places, but the nail tech did a nice job! They have a ton of pedicure options. The cheapest is $25 and includes an apricot scrub and callus eliminator. I went for the 'ultimate pedicure' for $30 and that claimed to be stress relieving and other magical things, but I think I would save the $5 next time and just do the other one I mentioned. I included a picture here of their wall of pedicure options bc it's daunting to sit down and choose under pressure. They have a green tea pedi and a cinnamon honey one too- maybe another time. 4 stars because I wish it was a bit more relaxing- I brought a book to read while getting my pedicure, but I guess since they weren't busy, another tech came and started filing and buffing my nails while I was getting the pedi. When I got on my cruise and went to the nail salon on board, they pointed out that the manicure likely didn't last because it was just filed off and likely damaged the top layer of my nails making it harder for the gel polish to adhere to. I stopped taking more cash out to sign the receipt. Of course, I was planning on giving her more than $5. I just stopped to sign the receipt. Compared to the massages in Thailand, this was like 75% Thai, 25% deep tissue, and it was fantastic. In Thailand, they don't use oil. Here, they did, and it was great. My body was stretched and beaten, and I feel like I just ran a marathon, in the best way possible. Anyway, the spa itself is really nice. I was pleasantly surprised. I've lived in this town for over three years and never thought to go in, but it's lovely! The staff is great too and the prices are very fair.

Nancy is the massage therapist and all the other ladies that work the other stations are quick and clean The attention they pay to the details on my nails is fabulous.
