5 STARS - Lucy is truly the best!…read more If you're looking for a nail artist who is meticulous, talented, and truly listens, you need to book with Lucy at Paint Nails in Garden City Park. Every time I come in, I show her a photo of what I'm envisioning--and she somehow makes it even better. Her attention to detail is unreal: the clean lines, the soft gradients, the gold accents, and the shape are always perfect. She really understands how to translate a picture into a customized design that flatters my hands, my style, and the look I'm going for. Soft pastels with gold detailing, and then a chic neutral set with marble and gold edges. The precision and care she puts into every nail is honestly next-level. She takes her time, checks every angle, and never rushes. The salon itself is clean, relaxing, and organized, and the whole team is friendly--but Lucy is truly the standout. I won't go anywhere else. If you want nails done right, beautifully, and exactly how you imagine them, go see Lucy. She's a gem.

It wasn't easy finding this place on Yelp bc it seems they had a different name not too long ago?…read moreThere aren't too many reviews and yet the customers when I arrived seemed to be long time so perhaps just followed a particular lady to this new place. So my experience overall was just odd. Luckily, I take everything with a grain of salt. I was in the area, and I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed. I knew Santorini's was across the street and I wanted to eat there (review for them is posted) Ok so I go into the wax room, lay down, and close my eyes. Open my eyes a little bit and there are 2 or 3 additional ladies in the room with me (employees) watching apparently a lesson in eyebrow waxing. Okay, the lady doing my brows "is a very good teacher" - her words. Go for it, girl. Despite this, I decide I want a mani. And then I decide I want a pedi also. So eyebrows done, I sit in the chair for my pedi. Basic stuff, no frills. The usual. It was 630 pm when I arrived and they closed at 730 so I wasn't trying to stay there all night. Plus, starving. Really nice girl but she scratched up the tops of my feet with the callous scrubber. Not sure why she did that. Didn't really notice til about an hour later. On to the mani. Very meticulous. I'm almost certain the ladies employed are fairly new to nails and salon business. Really sweet people. They just need some more experience.

HOWEVER, the owner is SO sweet and the staff are all so articulate, that I'm breaking my natural/bare nails look and becoming a repeat and regular customer here. I haven't had anything but gel manicures, but if that's what you're looking for this is 100% the spot :)

Before she painted I used my nails to scrap off what I could. This seemed to make her more upset because she had to clip off more skin again. The paint job on both my hands and feet was awful. It was uneven on the surface with clumps on one side and not painted well. Lydia obviously has regulars because she attended to them instead of doing me. First time there and when made appointment did not tell my husband was cash only. Had to zelle money. Place was old and run down. Bathroom was like a third world country. Cannot poop or put toilet paper in toilet. Would never go back.

First off as soon as we opened the door we were greeted very nicely by a young man who I assume Is the owner who proceeded to squirt hand sanitizer in our hands and sprayed alcohol on our feet and shoes (big PLUS for me). Second they have all stations protected for nails and pedicures and the protection is spotless. They are extremely sweet, extremely clean and efficient. This is my go to spot close to home and I do not have to travel back into queens. So happy I found one finally! One more thing, they took all the necessary precautions opening back up after Covid.
