Compared to the massages in Thailand, this was like 75% Thai, 25% deep tissue, and it was fantastic. In Thailand, they don't use oil. Here, they did, and it was great. My body was stretched and beaten, and I feel like I just ran a marathon, in the best way possible. Anyway, the spa itself is really nice. I was pleasantly surprised. I've lived in this town for over three years and never thought to go in, but it's lovely! The staff is great too and the prices are very fair.

It does not smell like food inside. I was greeted warmly and had a short wait since I did not have an appointment. It was a Sunday afternoon. My massage was very relaxing. Honestly it was what I needed. I think these massage artists are very good at their jobs. It's as tho they Know what you need, without telling them. I definitely needed a lot of butt massage and that's what I got. 45$ for an hour is not a bad price. I wasn't sore the next day and overall enjoyed the massage. I really like how they use a hot towel to wipe off all the massage oil. Oh! And they put something over my head to protect my hair which was A+

A few hours later I got a call back from someone named Corey saying they are charging me 50% cancellation because apparently I'm the only one that can't make it today. It's a declared state of emergency and we're in a flood zone and you don't have the common decency to not charge me- I tried to explain this to her. She still told me well everyone else can make it, you're the only one cancelling today. Mind you- this is the Oceanside location where there were homes that were flooded, streets flooded, trees down, power out and you don't have the decency to waive the cancellation fee for the day of a nor'easter. What type of response to someone is that? She was incredibly unprofessional and rude. I then get a voicemail from the manager Jamie Sunday the next day after Corey told me her manager was in Sunday. The voicemail from Jamie said she was calling me to let me know she's not working today but I keep calling. I didn't keep calling. I called and left a voicemail that Sunday as I was told she would be there. I called again today as she told me via voicemail she is on location today and would be speaking with me. Nothing yet. ---Update manager Jamie called me back Wednesday evening with a passive aggressive voicemail stating this is her third attempt at calling me after calling me once Sunday from a private number and twice after 8 pm Wednesday. I already spoke with the manager from another location who apologized on their behalf and got me my credit back. Stay far away from this location if this how the manager conducts herself.

The treatment started with cooling under-eye patches and then turned into so much more than just a head spa. In addition to the amazing scalp treatment, there was also massage on my back, neck, shoulders, and arms (which was such a wonderful surprise!). I was expecting a great scalp treatment, but I definitely wasn't expecting a full upper-body relaxation experience! Another thing that completely impressed me was that they blow out your hair afterward. I honestly thought I'd have to leave with wet hair, so it was such a treat not only to have a dryer available but to have the therapist do the blowout for me. I left with my hair and scalp feeling so clean, and my whole body felt loose and relaxed. The entire experience exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to make this a regular thing!
