After the horrible experience I had at Elmont Nails but my fault for rushing to a place that I did not do good research on..anyway after going on yelp and finding this GEM and reading the reviews and seeing some of the pictures of the beautiful work they have done, myself and my daughter went this morning to give it a shot. First off as soon as we opened the door we were greeted very nicely by a young man who I assume Is the owner who proceeded to squirt hand sanitizer in our hands and sprayed alcohol on our feet and shoes (big PLUS for me). Second they have all stations protected for nails and pedicures and the protection is spotless. They are extremely sweet, extremely clean and efficient. This is my go to spot close to home and I do not have to travel back into queens. So happy I found one finally! I walked in earlier today for a simple Gel Mani and Pedi and not even 10 minutes into my Manicure things went left. ‍‍!! Not a great experience at all. 1. I asked the young lady to file my nails squared and round my corners and clearly from the looks of it my corners are not rounded. Strike 1! 2. Instead of cutting my cuticles, she cut me. Strike 2! 3. Looked at my Pedicure and I noticed that the cuticles around my toenails weren't cut properly at all. You guys had THE NERVE to charge $20.00 for this?? Strike 3! That was it for me. I choose to not continue with the Gel Manicure and walked out after my mediocre Pedicure was complete. They gave me a $5.00 coupon towards future services, but I'll pass. Quickly tossed in the Trash! I scheduled two 1:30PM appointments to get acrylic nails for me and my friend. This was all made very clear in the phone call that was had with the manager. When we arrived they got started with me very quickly but 10 minutes in, my nail artist stopped to do somebodies nails that was here before us. me and my friend both waited for about 30 minutes. The nail artist came back and finished my design but my friend didn't get started until 2:50 when she had a 1:30 appointment and we got here early. This means my friend just sat here for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Mind you we had somewhere to be. When we expressed this to the nail artist who was sitting there and not doing anything, instead of helping my friend he gave me a very painful and unprofessional pity back massage. My friend didn't receive nor was offered a back massage. This nail salon has bad customer service, work ethic, talent, etc. They had 6 women in here at the same time and only 3 workers. I will not visit again. A better recommendation in the area is Lucky nails or Central nails. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would've. Went here to get a gel manicure. Inquired about ombré and they said they couldn't do it unless it's powdered gel. So I told them I only wanted gel color no ombré. After putting on the color another nail tech popped up and started the ombré process which I didn't want since they said they couldn't do it. In the end, it came out HORRIBLE sloppy messy. I could've done a better job myself. It's just streaks of white polish pulling upwards. The guy at the front desk who seems to be the only person that can speak English started yelling at me saying I asked for this when I clearly told him I just wanted color gel. He told me I was killing them because I didn't like what they did. Other customer were in here and he's just yelling back and forth with me. I went to this nail salon for the first time yesterday to get a mani pedi. The plastic barriers and masks were used appropriately and most nail techs had on gloves. However, I felt shuffled between 4 people - one man greeted me and asked what color I wanted, another man did my pedicure and started the manicure, then two different women did the dipping powder. As they switched from one person to another, I received no explanation and they did not share what I told the previous person about what I wanted done. So I had to keep describing and showing the picture of what I wanted, while the original man who greeted me kept coming over and seemed to be getting upset. Ended up taking 3 hours from the time my pedicure started until my manicure was done. Yes, my nails are finally done. No, I was not thrilled with the experience and probably won't go back. read more

I do have to say they did a excellent job with my nails, as you see my picture attached to my review. It was busy when I got there I made a appointment for 2 and they didn't take me until 315. There also was some confusion about what I wanted I kept explaining that I wanted UV gel, there was deff a language barrier. The most important part is that my nails were done the way I wanted them, and even though I waited a while it was worth it. I didn't see them use clean tools or open things in front of me so I can't say anything about cleanliness. read more

I originally picked out this place cause my usual salon is appointment based, I was in a rush plus it was the nearest salon that took walk-ins AND my nails turned out pretty so I decided to come back and take my mom here. For one, my nails (second visit) - I got powder acrylics and I am in love!! Reason for the 3 stars is because we got there when it was empty so we got seen right away but then business got busy so while my nails were soaking they saw other people BUT it got to the point where it felt like everyone that came after me were already done and I'm still sitting there. My mom's nails (she got a gel manicure) were done during the time I was waiting and they're chipping now when it has only been about two or three days since our visit. By the time she was done it was my turn and she sat there waiting almost an hour for me to finish. LSDR; Place can be a hit or miss. I love my nails, they're very on top of their clients when its empty but if the salon gets busy you might be left sitting there for a good 30 min to an hour waiting for someone to finish what they already started on while everyone that came after you has left. read more

I really didn't like it here. After 7 days i'm down 4 nails that broke at the base of my finger so now i have 4 half nails. They did a powder tip i think. Very weak set of fake nails when completed. Also just overall wasn't comfortable while being treated. Not happy, not going back. read more

My first time at this salon, the owner was very nice. I initially wanted Anna to do my nails and then Esaan became available so I said why not after reading good reviews about his work. He began to do my nails and I notice he started to rush putting the tips on after using the nail bid to even out my nails. when he was laying the tip on my nails, he did not bind the actual tip to my nail properly ( I have gaps). He then had to cut the tips down and he wasn't cutting it enough and I felt he was rushing with me so I asked him cut it down 3 times to MY desired length. He began to get annoyed because I asked him to cut and then he said after he files the nails it will be short which it didn't. He probably even complained on me to the others but oh well. I got cut along the way a couple times and trying not to complain and when it did hurt I pulled back and he said to not move. Not only did I get little cuts I inhaled all the dust that was left on the table and developed a bad cough. However, my nails is still on and waiting to see how long it last... read more

This place is horrible. The front desk guy was so rude. We waited 30 minutes when we had an appointment. I received a pedicure and they only scrubbed for less than a minute.....and tried to charge me $8 more to scrub more. RIDICULOUS! Also they didn't even paint the sides.... My sister got acrylic done and they tried to charge her an extra $35 for design. This place is a RIP OFF. She even asked the lady to fix her nails cause she left them crooked and the front desk guy would make remarks!! Her nails aren't even filled to her nail line so she would have to come back in a week after spending a lot of money and time at this place. Never coming here again. People are so rude and a rip off. There are definitely better places that will do a better job than this place. DO NOT COME HERE AND WAIST YOUR MONEY. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED! read more

I have been coming to Perfect3 for years, but I have been so disappointed lately. I decided to give them one more try, so I went in for a manicure pedicure on Saturday. The pedicure was fine, but the manicure was TERRIBLE. I asked for a regular manicure, but they barely did anything at all. Just a little lotion and polish. Then, to top it off, half of my nails had chipped within 24 hours. I washed my hands and the polish just peeled off. I've never had that happen before. I don't know what they did, but I will definitely not be returning. There are a million other nail places within 3 blocks that do much better. read more

Had an appointment Saturday, arrived outside with my friend who also had an appointment for an sns powder and pedicure. the gentleman who I believe owns the salon said to me and my friend come back in 20 minutes, even though we had an appointment . 20 minutes later we arrive and he does not let us in but let an elderly women and what seemed to be her daughter in infront of us. He said they were waiting longer and he would be unable to help me and my friend . I understand salons are extremely busy right now being that they were closed but it was TERRIBLY unprofessional , wasted my time and day, I will never ever give my business to this place ever again. (Should have known Better) I was being offered a service I did not want because someone else became available but was not capable of putting on tips the service I had an appt for. If you're okay with your nails lasting about a week then sure go here! Ana is the best tech there, she does really dope designs . I got a gel nail set and they starting coming off the NEXT day . I had to use crazy glue to keep them together. I then went back 1 week later as I live from here & the man told me I would have to pay full price for a new set. I said fine. But instead I got acrylic thinking they would last longer. NOPE! Don't waste your money they charge a LOT and obviously use cheap product. Thank God Queens salons opened back up. read more
