I've never had a gel manicure and wasn't going to start because the Salon was running an hour late. It was just a disaster. A very bad experience. I didn't mind waiting the hour, but I did mind being rushed and having the technician be so rude to me. My nails came out pretty good though.

I believe it's been almost a year now .IDK. I decided to review it because my technician, Mark, is so meticulous. I don't want wear nail polish. No glue ons or gels for me. Clean and neat. That's my motto. Maybe a top coat or two on my toes. Yet, the time and efficiency he shows for someone who doesn't wear is worth the $40. I go every six to eight weeks. I have not been disappointed. If he offers you a massage, you can indulge. But those massage chairs you sit in for the pedicure are euphoric The salon sits in a strip mall on busy Merrick Road, particularly on Saturdays when I go. Therefore, parking may be a challenge. The decor is artful with soft piano music playing in the background. You are very relaxed. He may still do walkins. Idk. But appointments are definitely a must.

I'm not one to normally leave a review but this is the best nail place ever! The SNS is amazing and so natural! If you're looking for experienced service, nail repair and a healthy way to have your own nails grow strong SNS is for you! The take off is easy and does not do any damage. I use to gel which destroyed my nails and the SNS is repairing then. The owner is amazing, friendly and accommodating! Everyone there is super nice and very experienced. I'm even thinking of canceling my massage membership! The establishment is very clean and you get a very zen feeling when there. Thank you to all the workers at Embeliish! You're all awesome! Came in for the first time as a walk in. I was seen immediately. I already had SNS on my nails from a previous salon, which the person didn't do a great job. Tina did my SNS and I was extremely satisfied. She made sure they were up to my expectations and did a great job! I would definitely go back and highly recommend it read more

I went back and they spent a long time fixing them and tried to argue that the powder didn't last well or had to be thick because my nails were so short. I've gotten powder done of my short nails many times in the past at the salon across the street and the service was quick and there was never an issue. In the end, they did a good job fixing my nails, but it took hours of my time. She drilled too much and had to redo powder entirely on one nail. I think there are better options for a dip powder gel in the area. The lady doing my nails kept trying to make it seem like I needed to get gel-x or a different service because powder gel wouldn't work for my short nails. I wonder if they were really trained well on how to use powder gel and if this is why I had such a weird experience. My nails were literally irritated by the end and after a week, I took these right off.
