This nail salon has def changed after covid. I used to come here all the time and so did my friends but no one goes anymore. When jessie was there she was the best and everyone loved her. Then the owners said she went on vacation to China and they didnt know when she was returning. Like stopping to your customers and be honest that she doesn't work there anymore. Then everytime I went they would rush me and the prices kept going up. I used to pay $53 for a powder manicure and regular pedi. Then it went to $65 after the pandemic and I understood. However, my last time I went peter did my nails and rushed my service so much that I went home with smudged toes. I had to go back the next day to do my pedicure and I was annoyed because I was living in Queens. I used to love going there and Jerry & Nicole were such good business owners. This has been my go to nail salon for years but sadly thats coming to an end after receiving the worst acrylic set I've ever gotten. It looked unprofessionally done, I asked for a short square shape with a hot pink chrome color. I added my inspo pic for reference and this is what I got. I got charged extra for the chrome but it doesn't look like chrome nails, it looks like a regular shiny polish. This set cost me $70 way over priced for what I received. The shape was bumpy and lumpy almost looking like I got duck nails. I think I found my new nail spot. Didn't know this gem was so close to me. I love it. They are so clean and so friendly. They have the plastic bag for the sink and they put it on in front of you. $25 Mon to Thur and $28 on the weekend. What more can u ask for from a nail salon . Update: My first experience with the powder nail polish was great. I am so indecisive when I have so many options but they were so patient with me and I was very satisfied with how my nail came out. Me and my wifey booked a pedicure together. We had the worst experience together. We payed extra for callus removal and they did not do what was payed for. They also cut two of my toe nails past my nail bed. Now my toes are throbbing when I walk on them. My wifey had uneven toenails cut by comparing her two feet together. We tried confronting the owner about the issues peacefully and he copped an attitude immediately saying they are professionals. They clearly are NOT! And also do not take pride in their profession. I went into memory nail spa for an acrylic new set & a gel pedicure. A man at the front greeted me and asked me what I was getting done. I proceeded to tell him what I'd like to get done and he convinced me that a fresh new set wasn't needed and to continue with just a fill in. I said okay and was put with Lisa for my gel pedicure. Lisa rushed through my entire pedicure and made my cuticles bleed. Then I was put with Kevin for my acrylic new set. I told him I'd like a fill in with gel color. I also said to cut down my nails just a bit and keep them the same shape which was almond. He said okay. He clipped them and started filing. He gave me a coffin shape and asked if that's what I wanted. I said no... I'd like almond, the same shape I had before. He said okay. He continues to round them out and then says is this okay. I said no... that's a very round circle shape, I'd like almond. He said "I can't do almond, your nails are too short for it". I took the nail file and filed my pinky finger to show him that it was indeed possible. He said okay and continued but he was just ignoring what I was asking for. So I said okay, no thank you. I got up and proceeded to the man in the front to pay for my pedicure. He said "yeah... we can't do what you want, what you're asking for is too difficult. you can go somewhere else. you never said you wanted almond shape you said you wanted square". Which was a complete lie because I told him and Kevin 4 times I'd like almond shape. They had a bad attitude with me and started to raise their voice. I pay with my card and start to sign the receipt... Kevin, Lisa, another random worker, & the man in the front all get up and hover over me as I'm signing my receipt telling me I have to tip. I was beyond shocked at the unprofessionalism. I left no tip and walked out. They were all screaming at me as I was walking out. This was a completely ridiculous nail trip. By far the worse nail experience I've ever had. I came in for a regular mani pedi. I wasn't even getting color on my nails, so this shouldn't have been difficult. When I say the lady who did my nails did the bare minimum, that's me giving her a lot of credit. She sloppily cut my nails, barely filed them, put my feet in water for maybe 2 minutes and barely scrubbed my heels. She put the exfoliating scrub on but didn't exfoliate and just washed it off. She then slabbed lotion on and that was it. By the end of the pedicure, I had lotion all over my legs because she didn't massage it in. There was no hot towel, nothing. Manicure was the same situation. Cuticles were not cut all. I don't even want to know what it would look like if I had her put polish on. To top it off, instead of $30, the cost was $36 because it was a weekend. Safe to say this was my first and last time. read more

We were rushed to pick out our colors to the point that one of the nail tech picked the color for my teen daughter. Did I say there were NO OTHER CUSTOMERS BEING inconvenienced while we picked out our colors. The mani which consisted of nail filing and watered down lotion and no hand massage or hot towel; lasted for 5 mins. We (4 gals) were done in 15 mins. And still NO OTHER CUSTOMERS WERE WAITING. The Rushing service was inexcusable and when escorted to table for drying no massage was offered. One day later my color is CHIPPING. I would not recommend this salon. read more

I honestly wouldn't even give one star. I was trying not to have to write this review but it was very much needed. I got my nails (SNS) done and it wasn't even a week before they began to lift. Three of them popped of like they were press on nails! I called then and explained that my nails were lifting and popping off. They agreed to fix them. I went in to fix them then hours later two of them began to lift. I had to squeeze some nail glue under the nails. Fast forward to a few days later my pinky nail popped off so I made an appointment with my original nail tech the next day. When my nail tech soaked off the nails I had a fungus on both of my thumb nails and my pointing nail!!!!! I've never in my thirty years of living had a nail fungus. For me this salon was not a good experience and it was a waste of $53 + tip!!! read more

I never have a preference of who does my SNS because I feel like all the nail techs do a good job. Sometimes they have trouble doing designs, but they always are willing to try and copy reference photos you show them. The free massage they give you while your nails are drying is also a nice tough, not every place is willing to do that. I don't, however, like the way they do pedicures. You can almost always see streaks in the polish, and they don't work as hard on the heels of your feet like other places I've been to. They will if you pay extra for the "spa" packages, so that might just be a way to get you to spend more. read more

My first time at this nail salon everything seemed great at the beginning. Everyone was nice. However, my nail tech filed my nails so hard that I constantly flinched. I wanted black tips with two solid black stiletto shaped nails. What I got was uneven, almond shape. They were super thick and wide. As you can see in the pictures they were unbelievably messy. She had glued the tips to my skin on every finger. She left the nails super rough. Am super disappointed and unfortunately will not be going back. read more

I used to really love this place. Recently the quality has gone down. I get igel fill ins, and ask for almond shaped nails. The last few times I went my nails came out so thick that other people noticed. I've even had to file them at home just to get the correct shape. The stench of chemicals as you walk in could take your breath away. It's also old and FILTHY. I cannot understand why anyone would frequent this establishment. I would be afraid of catching something. There were dirty towels on the floor and the little tables where you put your bag during a pedicure were absolutely filthy and covered with grime that would need to be chiseled off. It was clear that cleanliness is not their focus and I had to walk out before being seen by a nail tech. This was my first time going to get my nails done at this salon. I previously had acrylic tips on from another salon and wanted to get them off and have a fresh start with my natural nails. I called Memory as soon as it opened on Thursday morning and I asked if I can come in right away. The gentlemen that answered the phone said yes of course, come now. So that was great that I walked right in and they accommodated me within minutes. After the nail technician saw how my nails were damaged from acrylics, she suggested to get the SNS powder gel nail color since she can shave down my nail a little and apply it, so my nails will come out looking even. I always wanted to try the dipping powder nails, so I said sure! It was $10 extra, and they last about 2-3 weeks. Overall, I had a great experience in every aspect of this process of getting my nails done. Excellent customer service and a well done job on my nails.
