UPDATE I'm sorry to say, after my 5th time there today I'm finding that the staff is not friendly, polite, no one greets you nicely nor tells you you'll be waiting despite your appointment. No one says thank you or Bye when you leave (which ALL usually do!) I don't need small talk or phony conversations but I DO need to feel welcomed! I'm not feeling that. It's a shame bc Bosco did a nice pedicure today but unless I have no time restraints and I don't care about manners, I'm very disappointed. Stephanie or whoever is the owner or manager needs to make people feel welcome when they walk in and all staff should have good manners. read more

Im new to the "NAILS WORLD" but I decided to give it a try since all my friends always do their nails. Tried a couple of places and it was ok... but then on a day that j really needed an appointment and my original place didn't have any openings, I decided to try this place .. so my daughter and I went .. let me tell you .. they're very nice .. accommodating and patient, prices are good too, compared to the other nail salons out there, idk his name but he's fast and precise, not much into drawing but let me tell you whatever you ask for, he'll do. I went in today and decided to try their spa pedicure with ten minute massage for $30. I really wanted to enjoy it because everyone is so nice and accommodating, but I've have much better pedicures and foot massage (reason for the four star) . I did enjoy the hot towel which was wrapped around my feet though. I tried their SNS with was done by evan. He was super quick and my nails look great. Im told they should last three weeks. First time I am here, and I had a great experience. I did ombré powder gel, it was s my first time doing powder gel so I wasn't sure how it was going to be different from the traditional gel. Evan was so patient because I wanted to do one color at first and decided to go with ombré later. It did take a while but the final result is absolutely gorgeous! read more

One star because I can't do 0. The woman was really nice and did an okay job with my pedicure. Then, I asked the man to do a French acrylic and showed him a picture for reference and this is what I got. I asked him if he could instead do a regular coat on top of this terrible finished product and he got extremely close to my face (like one inch apart) and screamed at me for a good 5 minutes in front of other customers, looked at me up and down and called me "not skinny"?? Went for a pedicure and acrylic fill in with gel. Woman who did my pedicure was good. I left looking like I still needed a fill in, I also had coffin nails and they are now some odd shape In between that and square . I asked the man who did it to fix my two pointer fingers and he filed them down after polishing and that was it . The tips of my nails are not painted , the fill in does not reach my cuticle and the polish is extremely sloppy on the sides. They are also really raised looking. There's only two people doing nails and they rush. I will not return or recommend. read more

I was seated down with one lady who clearly did not know what she was doing which lead to the owner of the store trying to help her fix my nails. The outcome of my nails were disappointing, they were not shaped or refilled properly AT ALL and to pay $20 with little to no change to my nails was ridiculous !! I went to Lynbrook to visited my friend last week. She took me to get gel manicure and pedicure in the beautiful nail salons. Ella did great job and greeted me with a smile. I was pretty shocked that they line the tubs with plastic and remove them after finish pedicure. read more

Very clean, good prices, attentive and trained nail technician! I saw the sign outside as I was driving by for $30 pedicure with gel and stopped in. Cleanliness and sanitation with nail salons is always my top concern when getting nails done and this place passed the test! The place was empty in which I was the only customer at 3 for a Sunday and I didn't understand why as they are worth trying. I got the gel manicure 2 weeks ago and a pedicure, and it lasts! They even do eyebrow waxing in which mine came our great! FYI- They don't take AMEX. If you have cash the better. Also, located next to a Laundrymat so if you need to drop off laundry, go next door and get your nails done while you're waiting! There's plenty of parking. evan who did my nails was very sweet and helped explain the different options for my nails as i was getting a soak off and wasn't sure if i wanted to do acrylics just yet. he helped me pick powder gel, and i loved the way my nails came out. i think the salon could be more clean and the decor looks a bit old but all the workers were sweet and accommodating. read more

UPDATE: I received this "compliment" after my review and I was called a "bad girl" and being accused of wanting a free service (See Photo) Not sure if this is the owner but nevertheless it's extremely rude. I have not been back since my negative experience about 8 months ago. I really don't want to feel like I have to be defending myself but yet I am receiving these types of notifications and responses. Back to 8 months ago when I revived my service I politely stated I was not happy with how my set looked. Yes you are correct, I did not want to pay for the acrylic set because as I said I was not happy with the result. I knew it was late which is why I said I would return the next day to get them soaked off and pay for a regular manicure. I DID pay for my pedicure as that was fine. And actually now that I am remembering the gentleman did my set and a lady did my pedicure. When I paid for the pedicure he immediately said why I did not tip the lady. At this point I was already in awe of what I was experiencing but nevertheless I tipped the lady for my pedicure. Is it a bad thing that I didn't want to pay for something I wasn't happy with? Somehow it seems that I am STILL meant to be seen as the "bad girl" here. Also, I do consider myself to be a respectful person and I don't believe I've been disrespectful at all in my reviews. I was charged 5 dollars for the J and let me tell u she did a bad job I'm disappointed I payed 5 extra for a J that looks like I drew it and then my boyfriend was paying and they acted if they were getting too so he said "Um just put 2 dollars" and the lady then said "so your just gonna give us a dollar" I know they work for their tips but I don't feel like it was right. Just came back from an appointment at this salon. The two workers are so funny and friendly. The prices are quite reasonable and the talent of Evan is insane. My nails have never looked so great. They really care about their customers. He literally worked on one woman's nails for two hours to make sure she was one hundred percent happy with the outcome. I arrived about ten minutes early for my 5 pm appointment and they didn't start on me till about 6 pm which was annoying but I did make a last minute appointment on a busy day so I guess it could have been worse. I was the last customer of the day and he didn't make me feel like I was inconveniencing him at all. He took his time and didn't rush even though it was close to closing. Came out exactly one hour later as promised with beautiful looking nails. Thank you so much Evan. I will be back again soon. read more

Unsanitary and unclean all around. The shop seemed to be dark and dusty, I don't know how they can see well enough to do nail painting. I went for a bikini wax because they said they were only $15, but was grossed out to see that the waxing pot had been left open for dust and who knows what else to fly in. I figured they knew what they were doing and sat through it, but they used the same piece of cloth to pull off the wax AS WELL AS using the same tongue depressor to spread the wax over and over! This resulted in an uneven wax with patches of hair left over and red, highly irritated skin, more than what is normal for a wax. Unnecessarily painful, gross, and not worth anything. read more

I was there Thursday with my husband and we waited almost an hour for service, they overbooked. Then the owner left the shop and returned pulling and dragging a young girl into the store, we found out it was his wife. She was crying and didn't want to come into the store, We said what are you doing with this girl, she is crying, stop dragging her, and the owner waved his hand and said, its ok its family. I couldn't believe it, we should have informed the police and I'm sorry we didn't. We will never go back to there again. read more

Quality, service, etc has gone WAY DOWN HILL since Lisa & Ray sold it in Oct2016. I gave it a try (as I was regular of the place for 15+years) with the new owner; let's just say I will NOT go back. The woman cute my cuticle so bad it would not stop bleeding and the sore did not heal for over 2 weeks!!! that is how bad she cut me. RUN, do not go here. The new owner is not friendly nor welcoming to his new patrons either (a sharp contrast to Lisa and Ray -previous owners). Every time I drive by the place is EMPTY. So all the regular patrons (like me) must have fled too!! I give the new owner 3 months before he's out of business! read more
