Came for a manicure and said hello. Nobody looks up, say hello again and just get stared at. I asked if they had time for a manicure, a manager type said no. They didn't offer another time, just a no. lol. Terrible customer service. read more

This is by far my favorite place to get my nails done: it's affordable and the nail stylist always do an amazing job. I would definitely recommend making an appointment but it is normally crowded. There is no parking lot but there is street parking. I always get my nails done here and it is much better priced than other places in the area. You should definitely check this nail salon out read more

Nails and More - Manicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Middle Village, New York

Definitely lacks personality towards clients, however the gel nail polish lasts the longest of any other place in the neighborhood. I went to Mays nails as a last resort last month, they do not do gel polish and charge same price as Nails and more for gel polish mani. read more

A fairly good option if you're in the area. The salon is cutely decorated and clean. The staff is friendly enough. There are a good selection of colors and there are tons of stones and other decals that you can have glued onto your nails (at a cost, of course). Also, they do stamping which is where they add polish to a stencil and basically stamp the design onto your nails. Pretty cool if you're into that kinda thing; I'm more of a hand drawn nail art person myself, so I didn't partake. It'd be nice if they paid a bit more attention to the massage portion of the manis and pedis. Though it's only a small part of the whole process, it's kinda off putting when it feels like an afterthought service and it's not really a massage as much as it is just rubbing on some lotion (which is promptly wiped off with a hot towel... which has to be done in order to apply the polish). Last I went, I got my nails done before NYE and the polish is staying on nicely. I had 8 stones added to my nails though and unfortunately only 2 remain. read more

Called to make an appointment and rushed straight from work to go there. Got there on the dot. Said hello and here for my appointment. Came to a full space, front desk woman snapped at me in front of everyone like I was a 5 year old. She snapped -"you late." I said I am here when I confirmed. Then she said " you wait." Another woman walked in after me and was helped immediately. My mistake for coming back here after first experience before Co-vid was similar. Customer service + word of mouth is your business. VERY Disappointing!!! read more

I wanted my experience here to be a positive and relaxing. Unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. When I sat down, all of the pedicure chairs were available. My nail technician was silent, not hospitable, and seems completely depressed. I struggled for a good two minutes trying to get the massage chair on. Eventually, I asked if It was working, and she said it was broken. I asked, "do the other chairs work?" And she pointed to the chair next to mine. When I was getting my nails done, my big toe had a crack (almost in the middle of my toe). It must have happened during a workout class. Without asking, she started to put glue on my toenail (fine, I suppose the pedicure could not have continued but I should have been asked if I wanted this done to me. Hot stone massage? Oh please. Don't let this sign in the window fool you. Terrible. My towel was not warm. I wasn't even asked if I wanted a ten minute massage. Lotion was only added to my legs and not my feet. When I sat down for a manicure, the nail technician next to me was chatting away, and so kind to the customer getting her gel manicure done. Needless to say, these long acrylic like nails that she was cutting off went flying into my nail technicians face, and mine. No apologies at all from anyone. The entire experience took over an hour. In the end, I had to ask her to redo my toe nail because it looked clumpy. My bill: I was charged the price for a manicure/pedicure ($23) + $2 for the glue (I wouldn't have minded if this actually helped my nail in the end, or I was ASKED). Normally, I like to tip in cash but I did not have any with me. I was planning on adding the gratuity on my card. When I received the $25 receipt, I did not have an option to add the gratuity. The nail technician next to me made a huge deal that I should have said that I wanted to do that. I have NEVER been to a salon where they don't automatically give this option. I called my boyfriend, he only had $5 in cash (he just went to the barber next door). After this entire experience, I wish I could have left them $2. DO NOT COME HERE! read more

The manicurists are AMAZING and friendly! Susan is my absolute favorite. You have to make appointments with her on weeknights and weekends. She is highly requested. The place is super clean and fresh. The service options are many. read more

My mom and I didn't have a good experience. When we came in the lady who seemed like the manager asked if we had an appointment. I said no and she seemed annoyed that we didn't . The manager did a bare minimum job , my mom is a nail tech so she knows how the job is supposed to do . She didn't even cut her cuticles all she did was paint them . My experience, I felt rush , and made me feel like they were talking rude about us . Just a tip if you know English and you have a client with you speak English it just disrespectful when you are just talking on your language with your coworkers also treat ALL your clients fairly not just specific ones . Another thing is if the whole issue was just about making an appointment could of just told us that , didn't have to treat us like that . read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for over 3 years and I love it! The staff is very nice. If you're interested in doing a new nail design or if you need to be penciled in on a Saturday (and it's possible) they do what they can to accommodate. After reading reading some of the previous reviews, I was compelled to provide some insight. Yes, most of the staff won't chat you up but there is a language barrier also it's a small place so the whole salon will here your discussion. Lastly, when I go to the get my nails done it's a time to relax. I don't want to constantly talk or hear other people talk. The comment on the massage being mediocre, some of the nail technicians have a light hand so I can see it being perceived as an "after thought". The salon recently underwent an update with all new pedicure chairs, décor, etc. The new chairs are more hygienic since the nail technician lines the water basin with plastic. Every customer has a new plastic placed in the bin. This was a HUGE plus for me. Lastly, the ladies have done a great job for me through the years. I get a gel manicure on a consistent basis and it last for 3-4 weeks. I've heard their prices are a little higher than other places for gel manicures but I'm happy with the quality and the staff so I continue to come back. read more

Absolutely love this place! Been coming her for a long time. Prices recently went up and are kind of expensive but you pay for what you get, and they always do an amazing job. Got a gel manicure here recently and it looks exquisite! Only complaint is that they filed my nails way to short but other than that all my experiences have been great. read more

I had a great experience at Nails and More. Everyone there seemed to be having a good time, which is really important when you're getting your nails done. The price is a steal, especially when you consider the fact that they do a great job. read more

I called asked if it was busy they told me to come in..waited a little while then was asked what my budget was.. I got acrylic tips that are usually less than 30 bucks on grand done there for 43 , got them done on FRIDAY Saturday nail polish was already chipped and now its TUESDAY one cracked in half while I was working out making a fist and 3 fell off in the shower.. TERRIBLE read more

My go to nail salon when I'm in the area. The nail technicians are friendly, the price is reasonable (Mani/pedi for $25), and best of all the manicures last over a week! Most places I've been to, the manicure would start chipping after a day or two. They have a great color selection and a variety of brands. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. I highly recommend it. read more

Worst job ever. Has my nails done here on 8/22/19 for my sons wedding. They were uneven and they knew I wanted a pedicure as well. They did not have the same polish for my finger nails as my toe nails. Never informed me of this. The woman that did my nails made them very thick and some were sticking up and looked very un-natural. The woman that did my toes, did a good job. Spent $92 for a lost job. Did have time before the wedding to get them redone. Had them fixed in Sarasota FL and they turned out perfect. read more

Actually came here to get a mani + pedi with my brother! Of course, there were a few confused looks, but the ladies here were very friendly and welcoming! The place is clean and bright, with excellent technology. They are very meticulous and make sure that they do a thorough job of what you want. For a mani + pedi for $23 in this area with great staff and top notch technoloy, I'd say this is a great deal! read more

I love this place. I've been coming here for a while for gel manicure. I love their designs, I can show something online and they can replicate for me! I absolutely adore it!! It's a bit pricy but definitely worth the price. In my opinion it is very sanitary especially their pedicure. Everything is disposable. I would say it's worth the price good service. I know that this place has been in town forever. read more

I get my eye brows here. My girlfriend gets her nails here. It's a cute decent place with friendly people.

I went into their salon in mid-April(3rd week of) got a full set of nails. Within 2 weeks one popped off so I went back in got a repair and fill done the first week of May. I also sent my mother in law in to get a pedicure for Mother's Day. Today I went in (May 20th) with my 8 yr old daughter for a mommy/ daughter day, the operator told me I needed a full new set. When I told her I just had them done, she told me well you need to fill them. I told her I did 2 weeks ago she humpffed me and proceeded to start to remove my nails using a Metro Card. She then charged me full price to replace the nails that they did a shoddy job on both one month and then 2 weeks earlier. Not only did they charge full price but when I asked about it, 2 of the operators yelled at me that I needed to fill them in front of a salon full of patrons as if I'd not been in 2 weeks before. I told them I had and they did not care that I've spent a good amount in their salon in a month and the nails shouldn't have to be fully replaced in a months time if done correctly. I've been in this industry and have gotten my nails done for years and I've never seen such bad business. I will never go back. Nail salons are everywhere... I recommend going to the next one. read more

Filthy! I walk in for a manicure just as one of the ladies is finishing up a pedicure. She puts her utensils in the sanitizer and invites me over to a chair while she cleans up after the pedi. She then comes over to me and tries to start the mani without even washing her hands! So I ask her nicely to please wash them, given that she just did a pedi and then washed the foot basin. She washes her hands, fine. She then retrieves the SAME utensils she just put in the sanitizer maybe 5 minutes earlier!!! Are you kidding me??? It takes way longer than that to sanitize utensils! I always bring my own so I quickly pulled them out. Dirty, disgusting place. read more

I've been coming here for a couple of years now. The staff is always warm and friendly and do an excellent job of nails and brows. They treat my 10 year old daughter like a princess whenever I bring her with me. Prices are very reasonable. read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with the manicure that I got at this salon. I moved to the neighborhood a few months ago and have been to a few nail salons in the area trying to find one that I love. This was the worst. I like to get gel manicures because they are supposed to last a few weeks. They usually last around two weeks for me, sometimes a little longer if I am careful. I got my manicure here one week ago today, and the white tip of the French manicure now has a yellow/brown hue to it and all of my nails are chipping. On top of the fact that my nails now look like crap, I paid $51 for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. I have never paid this much, ever for the combo and almost fell out of my chair when I was told how much these services cost. I went here for the walking convenience and unfortunately will not be returning. read more
