Instead of the soft milky pink look I requested, the nails ended up looking purple and gradient-like, which was not what I asked for at all. To make matters worse, after only 3 days (with no excessive or rough activity), my thumb and ring finger chipped. I went back for a repair, but then after the repair, the middle finger and pinky chipped, and shortly after that, the rest of the nails chipped as well. I paid $98 for nails alone, which is very expensive for this kind of outcome and durability.

Most recently, I booked an appointment for myself and a friend. We arrived on time and were told they couldn't take us. We offered to go have lunch and return in an hour, and they agreed. When we came back, they still didn't have time for us. It's frustrating, especially when it happens repeatedly and there's no effort to make it right. If appointments are not going to be honored, they simply shouldn't take them. Sadly, because of this consistent issue and lack of accountability, I won't be returning.

One tip: bring cash for gratuity -- otherwise it's Venmo only, but there's a bodega right across the street if you need it. I'd definitely come back -- just booking with Dolker next time. After disinfecting it, it stung the rest of the time. The only reason I get manicures is for the purpose of a pampering treatment since I usually do my nails at home; so the pain of the cuts was not great.
