I literally had a deposit down for a nail appointment in Chelsea but this place blew me away. The service was the most detail-oriented nail salon experience I'd had gotten in a WHILE. I only got a full mani set of Gel-X, with French tips and chrome, but wow did the woman give me a great time. She took her time with the nail shape and French tip design making each finger super consistent with each other. This place is the best and definitely worth the price! I highly recommend. I had been getting my nails done here since a little before the pandemic. I always noticed that the manager was standoffish and unfriendly, particularly, with the few black women who came in, and who did not speak Spanish. I happen to be Central American, Black-Latina, who speaks fluent Spanish, but I never felt that I needed to prove anything to her. I did speak Spanish with the nice manicurists. About two weeks ago I was in the neighborhood at the bank and suddenly had to pee (I am 54 yr old and going through the changes). I went across the street to the salon and asked the manager, who was at the desk (no customers in the salon since it was around 3:30 pm on a Wednesday) and after stating that I am a regular customer, asked, in Spanish, if I could use the restroom. She looked at me and with a malevolent smirk, said, "No." I repeated that I was a customer (I am sure she recognized me) and she again, said, "No." This is not only bad practice as a manager but despicable as a woman.
