Then the receptionist 1 minute later asks me, "did you take care of your therapist?" I said, "take care of him as in ..?" She goes, "tip them" so I said, "no not yet my boyfriend went to get his wallet from the car". I actually forgot to mention they have signs plastered in every single room and empty wall space all over that hole in a wall "spa" that reads : ALL SERVICES ARE NON TAXABLE. Compared to the massages in Thailand, this was like 75% Thai, 25% deep tissue, and it was fantastic. In Thailand, they don't use oil. Here, they did, and it was great. My body was stretched and beaten, and I feel like I just ran a marathon, in the best way possible. Anyway, the spa itself is really nice. I was pleasantly surprised. I've lived in this town for over three years and never thought to go in, but it's lovely! The staff is great too and the prices are very fair.

I have never had a prenatal massage before, this was a gift from my husband, and I didn't realize how hard they are to book because no one has any appointments. Typically I go to those Asian salons where for $40 they walk all over you. Prenatals are.....much more delicate. Don't get me wrong, the experience was lovely and relaxing, just different from what I'm used to. They have a prenatal membership for a monthly massage at $89 which is a great price. I'd go back but would appreciate someone who isn't sick working on me - I'm pregnant, if I get sick it can be bad. I also didn't feel like I got the full hour because she kept having to leave to cough outside of the room (yes, she wore a mask). That said, she was very nice and I did enjoy the massage. I just wish they wouldn't throw a pregnant woman in a 1:1, hands-on room with someone who may or may not be contagious.
