We started with the fried calamari, which was really crispy on the outside and wasn't too salty. It had the perfect balance of flavor with the sauce it came with, and I really enjoyed it. We also got the chicken skewers, which came with peanut sauce and another sweet sauce. Those were solid as well. For my main, I got the Drunken Noodles. I asked for them not too spicy, and they came with just a slight kick, which I liked. I really enjoyed the dish. My experience here was great, from the food to the service. Maybe it was the combination of good company, conversation, food, and drinks, but I really enjoyed my time here. * 4.5 stars * Great service

We visited on a weekend and there was a line, we ended up going else where and coming back another day. Loved everything from the Pad thai meal to the Roti appetizer.

I was not too hungry but I did not want to eat late. I had the homemade ginger ale which was refreshing and relatively large and pretty! I wanted to ordered the entire dumplings menu but I had settled for two types of dumplings. Pac-Man Shrimp Dumplings - four shrimp dumplings where each dumpling had a shrimp with a different filling. One of the dumplings had a lobster filling which I requested to have substituted with a different filling. This dish ultimately had two shrimp dumplings mixed with bamboo shoots, one shrimp dumpling mixed with mushroom and one shrimp dumpling mixed with king crab. Another fun addition to the dish was a sweet potato tempura that resembled Pac Man dipped in guacamole. The steamed shrimp dumplings were well made definitely elevated with lots of fresh fillings. Definitely worth ordering. I also ordered the fried oxtail dumplings which were amazing and freshly made. Another dish worth trying especially that there are not many oxtail dumplings in NYC restaurants (at least not to my knowledge). I'd definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Great lunch special deal!!…read more The mango chicken platter was good, my cousin said it needed more rice. The ratio was a bit off. All the sushi dishes were very solid! The sashimi pieces had a good cut of fish and the rice ratio was perfect. The fish quality was also pretty quality and tasted fresh! The sushi / sashimi lunch special comes with miso soup and salad. The normal lunch special plates come with miso soup, salad, and either dumpling or mini rolls. The service was good, pretty standard. All the tables were filled, yet it wasn't that loud for a smaller space!

We ordered delivery and did not get two rolls that were on the receipt. We just wanted the rolls. Unfortunately, Amber lost long time customers tonight. One bad experience tarnishes what was a pretty good customer experience for years. What a shame.

Part of the reason was, despite having the whole restaurant available, they put me in this back corner area, in the back of the restaurant. I appreciated that the miso soup felt authentic, with large pieces of tofu, something that I rarely see. It tasted good. The sushi was just good enough. I honestly couldn't tell the fish quality, because it was so dark in the establishment, but the salmon and California roll was good. The yellowtail quality definitely was worse. I paid 19$ for the "any 3 rolls lunch special", and thought it was a bit pricey, especially considering Dragon Sushi was just a couple minutes walk and had $15.5 "any 3 roll" sushi. The prices for nigiri were insane (charged by the price, 6$ per), and with the OK fish quality on the yellowtail, I decided not to take that gamble.

It came with two whole soft-shell crabs that were very fresh, crisp, and satisfying--a particularly good combination with the creamy curry and noodles. We also had the Gaeng Rawaeng Naur. The dish came with large pieces of beef brisket that were exceptionally tender and juicy, and the curry was aromatic and comforting. The main downside was the portion size. For a party of two, the meal felt a little light, especially considering the price. We enjoyed the flavors and quality of the ingredients, though, and would come back. Next time, I'd like to try their lunch special, which looks like it may offer better value.
