I also loved the ambiance--it feels welcoming and is a great place to meet up with friends or family. The food was really good, and the menu offers a nice variety of options. I was honestly more interested in sampling everyone else's plates than focusing on my own, so I can't remember exactly what I ordered. I'll definitely be back, and next time I'll take photos and pay more attention to what I order so I can give a more detailed review. For now, I'd absolutely recommend checking it out if you're looking for good food and a great atmosphere.

Now, when we got the bills it was mass chaos! The manager was very gracious in helping our server. I felt bad since she was so new. Little did I know, when I finally checked out their website, they have a TON of Philly cheesesteaks! I love a good Philly, so I knew I had to give it a try. Our service was pretty slow, but honestly, that's kind of on par with a bar, so I wasn't too surprised. Still, this could be worked on. We were on the patio and our server admitted he didn't know who was helping us. It turned out to be him - but after 15 minutes of waiting lol. The space is super cool and really unique. It has a fun atmosphere that makes it feel like more than just your typical neighborhood bar. The food was great! They have lots of different ways to build your own Philly, which I loved. There were also a bunch of different sauces to choose from, and I especially enjoyed getting to try those. The fries were thin, crispy, and came with a CRAP ton. They were really good and definitely not skimpy on the portion! Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by Flatiron Tavern. Definitely not just a bar with bar food like I originally thought.
