I liked the revueltas pupusas (mozzarella, beans, and minced pork) $3 more than the minced pork & mozzarella one.

I tried this place because it's right by the Steve Nash gym. Great little family run place! Delicious, well-priced, good quality food. I'm already excited to go back so I can try more food from here. I got the revueltas pupusas (mozzarella cheese, beans, and minced pork) $3, and the chicharron y queso pupusas (minced pork & mozzarella cheese) $3. It came with a side of cabbage salad that was too acidic for my liking but a nice side that I didn't expect. Plus, they started me off with a basket of free chips and salsa! It was spicy but soooo delicious, I basically ate them all before my food came. I was so full for a meal of only $6!

Wow!!! Finally a great taco place in SuRREY! Pupusas are a must try--tacos too! Too bad they are close on taco Tuesday

First time trying pupusas and it did not disappoint! Also, it was a very affordable snack at $3 each. The minced pork and mozzarella cheese one was the favourite over the mozzarella, beans and minced pork. The tamales de Gallina ($3) was alright. It was good for trying once. It was starchy with the corn flour dough with some shredded chicken, potato and chickpea filling. The asada (beef steak) tacos were fantastic ($9). The meat was well seasoned and flavourful. The cilantro, lime and onion enhanced the meat flavour. I also ordered a horchata ($3) and it was on the cinnamon heavy side. Service was fast. We received complimentary chips and salsa. Our server explained what each item was and checked in once to see how we were doing. The restaurant was surprisingly empty on a weekday afternoon and there was Spanish TV show playing with the volume on the louder side. The restaurant itself looks more inviting than the exterior dated looking plaza. 4 stars for the pupusas and tacos. If you are in the area, I recommend stopping by to try some Latin food if you are feeling adventurous.

I'm actually pretty impressed with this place! I never would have found this place if it wasn't for my Spanish friend. And I'm glad she took me here The Pupusas were gigantic - I ordered 4... I usually order this many because they're small and boy was I wrong about this place. I barely finished the 3rd. But I pulled a champ and finished all four and waddled my self out... The salsa and chips were delicious. Couldn't complain about them being free and bottomless I'd return! Great food. Reasonable prices!

Pleasantly surprised! From outside you can't see in, so you don't know what to expect, so it's not really inviting. Tried the place because of the reviews and photos. Turns out the place is quite clean, service was nice and the food is good. I feel like it's been hiding here under my nose.

    Yummy! Desert!

We loved this place! Told to try this place out by a coworker of mine and were surprised at how close we lived to it. He said it was recently redone and it looked nice. It's no 5 star yaletown flashy place but it was nice and clean. The service was helpful and friendly. We ordered Cola-Champagne drinks that were super tasty, guacamole and chips, 2 burritos one each and 3 tacos and 1 pork pupusa. The Shrimp burrito I ate was amazing. It was so huge for the only 12$ paid and was stuffed to the edge with so much filling it was great. Best part was dessert. I cannot pronounce what it was called in English but it was deep fries plantains with condensed milk I think and dusted with powdered stuff yummy! We definitely will be back again as the price was so right for everything that we are. Best part was it didn't just look fresh or say it was fresh it tasted fresh and was fresh!

Papusas, 2 bean and cheese ($3) and 1 cheese ($3.50).

A Latin American place serving tacos ($2.50) and papusas ($3) among other things. I never pass up an opportunity to eat papusas so I order a few. Although they were decent I found them to be a bit undercooked (more doughy than I like) and not filled enough (I expect my cheese papusas to be super gooey). Might have just been an off day... Regardless, I'm glad this place exists because papusas make the world a better place!

Everyone speaks Spanish whether you call or go in person, there is only employee names Leslie though who does speak fluent English. The store sort of reminds me of the little snack stores in all inclusive resorts, with a dessert fridge and trays of pastries. Everything made fresh and decently priced. We recently ordered the 8" tres leche cake for $65, and it is massive! I know it's soaked in three milks, but it was so heavy... it's finished with whipped cream and fruit, and you can choose either coconut or chocolate for the outside. We chose coconut for a less sweet option -!: it was delicious, super moist and tasty. It's a very rich cake though with all the whipped cream, so you can't eat too large a slice. There were plenty of leftovers, so we pre sliced them and freezer them. They defrost in the fridge overnight and taste so good again the next day. Will definitely be back for the tres leche, and ordering more pastries!

We ordered the fried tripe tacos, beef tongue tacos and cheese pupusa tonight and found the tripe taco to be the best choice; it had a nice flavour and texture to it, unlike the other things we ordered. The green sauce that came with the tacos were lacking something to it and the pupusa sauce was just disappointing- it felt like water pretending to be a sauce. The beef tongue tacos were ok: full of meat but lacking flavour. The pupusa was just sad as it was cold and flimsy. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend.

There is no AC here but they do take credit card. We ordered an order for salsa and chips with a side of guacamole. The small guacamole costs almost $6. However, the chips is the kind of chips I have been searching for since my Los Cabos trip. We also ordered a pork soup. The pork soup is amazing. The meat is very tender and if you add the chips, lettuce and lime that comes with the soup, it brings the soup to the next level. The tacos doesn't come with any salsas but it is similar to the ones I had at the Los Cabos resort. We also ordered a dinner set. The food is quite good. I don't mind going back on a cool day but I do find that their food is on the more expensive side based on the portion and price of the food.
