Dominos pizza is great! Service at this location was awful tonight. My curbside delivery didn't happen as promised. How was I supposed to know that staff was not allowed to walk an extra 20 feet across the parking lot to deliver? It's not mentioned on the app. They saw my car but didn't bother to call me. Traffic in that little lot is busy. It took me several minutes to move to a different space, hoping to be noticed. Even then, they did not deliver. Rude staff. I have been going to this Dominoes for years and I think, in general, they make as good a pizza as you woukd expect from Dominoes, maybe better. In general, the problem is that the wait time is so ridiculously off from the app--but I also feel like that's more of an issue with the company than this location. I feel like it sets them up for unearned and undeserved complaints. So, going into each order, I know this about them, which is why I call the store to get a realistic expectation of the timeframe. This past week however, all that changed. I did my usual call and was told a number that was about 30 minutes off from the app. i called back a few minutes later to inquire about wait time for delivery and was told it would be another 40 minutes longer than my original BECAUSE THEY GO IN ORDER of when they were placed. That seemed fair. I kept mine for pick up. Long story short; it was an hour and a half later than the app estimate and I stood there watching the manager make every delivery order ahead of every pick up order. I watched them tell customer after customer times that didn't match their known reality. When questioned, the manager lied to me, not realizing I had been there watching him and his screen.for almost an hour. Finally, they allowed a customer to go back behind and MAKE HER OWN PIZZA because she had been waiting longer than I had. That was enough for me. The deception and disregard for customer's time was frustrating and disrespectful enough; the manager who did not seem to care at all was frustrating enough. The fact that they wouldn't give me any contact information for the franchise owner or general manager was frustrating enough, but watching the customer's hands in the cheese bin was astounding. (Now, the customer was happy to help make her own and I'm pretty sure she washed her hands first, but I'm fairly confident customers aren't supposed to even be behind the counter and it made me very uncomfortable on many levels.) Ordered online at 6:50pm showed up at store at 7:15 assuming my pizza was ready. They did not use the tracker at all to let me know it was ready- when I walked in, i had to sit and wait 15 more minutes as my "order wasn't ready" I sit down, finally an older employee asks what the name on my order was, and it was sitting on the shelf this entire time. Some people may give bad reviews about pizza coming out late but when you've got over 20 people in a store what do you expect? The respectful thing to do is find another place to eat, instead of adding on to the stack of orders. I called at a reasonable time and they had my pizza ready before I even had time to get to the store which was no less than 5-10min. My family is extremely high risk for Covid, so as a result, I have become the Queen of Curbside Pickup. I mean it. I FREAKING love curbside pick up!! I always used it pre-Covid whenever I could, but it was mostly Target and Food Lion. Now almost everyone has it and I COULD NOT be happier! I have decided to write my reviews based on my recent curbside experiences. This little Domino's has become my go to for pizza because of how quick and easy their ordering and pick up process is. I have probably gotten pizza here at least five times since January 2021. I use their app to place my order and immediately head to the restaurant because it will be ready in under 15 minutes. I usually pull into the reserved carside parking spots just as the tracker shows my order is ready. I check in on the app and someone is walking it out to me almost instantly. I have never waited more than two minutes for them to come out. The workers are all super nice and friendly. They just sit the boxes on the passenger seat and voila, dinner is served! The worst part is driving back to the house smelling all the deliciousness that is sitting beside me! As for the quality and taste of the food, it's always been top notch. There was a little too much sauce on a pizza one time which was on a weekend night so I'm just chalking that up to the game. All in all, I am a Domino's fan for life. Incidentally, I actually have been going here more than DiMaggio's (the most authentic NY pizza around here) simply because of carside pickup. My family and I had frequented this establishment but tonight when we ordered 3 pizzas the order had not been delivered 1 1/2 hours later. We went down to get the pizzas, very frustrated that we had paid for a DELIVERY pizza and even tipped a full 20%. When we asked where our order was we were given COLD pizzas, meaning our order had been ready long enough for the pizzas to be completely room temperature. We won't be back again. Terrible service and no one answers the phone when you call for an update on your order! The manager didn't even attempt to help or even come out from the back to correct the issue. read more

I ordered my pizza at 7.50pm and I left the house to go into the Harris Teeter to buy a few things as I wait. When I was almost done, at 8.20pm I called the store to check if my pizza was ready. The girl who picked up the phone had a bad attitude. She was unpleasant for no reason at all!!! I did not know they were backed up because the tracker doesn't tell you they are backed up, or approximately how much longer. Her attitude caught me off guard, because the 3 or 4 times I have ordered from this store, I have had no issues at all. I called back to speak to someone who was supposedly the manager, and they did not even try to make the situation right. No apology for my experience, nothing!!! I have already sent an email addressing this specific dominos but decided to to also write a yelp review. I see two bad reviews on here and I can promise you I never had the same experiences as those 2 and it might even be pizza hut trying to give them a bad rep. I literally never had a bad experience with this dominos, I can't speak about the other dominos because hey they may be bad. I always get my delivery on time, with pleasant delivery drivers. If I could give negative points I would! Chris the "general manager" REFUSED to credit me $21 back for a pizza order that wasn't done. I ordered a pizza on march 27 and had to request another one because the original wasn't done. After receiving another pizza I sent both back because the second wasn't done either and told to driver to just have his manager who I had spoken with earlier issue me a refund. Friday rolls around still no refund so I call and spoke to the same guy. He says he can't refund anything back dated I need to talk to his general manager Saturday morning. I didn't get to call back until today, Chris the general manager basically told me I made the story up and I can't complain to anyone above him because it's a franchise store. Not sure what's going on at this Dominos but what a nightmare. We called at 6pm on a Thursday and were told it was an 84 minute wait to get it delivered. I said ok, I'll just come pick it up then. That, I was told was a 72 minute wait. Huh? The guy sounded stoned on the phone, slow in speech and just out of it. I sat and watched the app where it shows you the order is being made, it did t move off the first initial step for 20 minutes, at least that's when I called back and asked for a refund. We tried them again tonight to see if it was just a fluke. NOPE. This time the phone was answered by a "Betty" robot, we were told 19 minute wait, but I thought I better verify with a human. Then a lady picks up the phone, I think she was maybe in a call center, and she said "it says 19 mins but thsts not correct. it's when ever they get to your order" . Again, huh? Domino's Pizza is a place I use next to never for food, however, it only took my 2nd time for them to mess up with me. The other time was at a different location. I ordered over the phone, normally and politely, for two large 3-topping pizzas. There was clearly no misunderstanding between me and her of what I ordered and she even said my total would be $17something and will be ready in 15 minutes. I decided for takeout because I felt it to be more convenient to pay with a card at the place and wanted to drop by another store. I got there in about 15 minutes, and for one thing, there aren't any parking space to park in... I went in and said I'm here for the so and so order. He said well, there's only one pizza on that order and then they said it would still be at least a few minutes. I mentioned the other pizza I ordered. The woman told him "You can get him to pay now first and then he can wait, if you want"... I was thinking but didn't say, yea right, I aint paying unless I get what I wanted. She(probably the same woman I ordered with) went up and double checked the orders after I inquired to him and she explained that there wasn't any order like I mentioned, in a that's like it is way without any sort of sympathy, even when I walked out without paying and without pizza after just saying "I'm going to leave now". I wasn't about to sit there and wait 20 more minutes. For another thing, I wasted my gas driving over there. I rated a 2/5, and would've rated a 3/5 for excellent pizza, or a 1/5 for poor pizza. However, basically because of their faulty customer service, I was very disappointed and didn't get any pizza...
