My son was off from school and I had him for his Winter break so I dragged him to Domenico's for karaoke with Curtis. This place is deceiving. I walked in and was expecting a small pizza place. It's a huge place and my son and I were led to what I think is one of the party rooms where they set up for Curtis' karaoke. My son got soda, I got the chicken parm hero, and I got my son fries. He's a picky eater. We hung out he played on his phone, I got to sing two karaoke songs before he begged me to go home and I got the bill and went home. My chicken parm hero was great, cheesy, saucy, the bread was good! The service was good too. I would come back here again for Monday night karaoke with Curtis when I'm able to get to it. read more

Unfortunately this has become the go to place for less expensive organization dinners since Pompeii closed. There's great parking if you go around to the back. The service is good and the servers are very nice but the food is mediocre at best. Grew up in Levittown. My parents moved us there in 1967 when I was like 3 years old. Grew up through our high school years going to Domenico's on the weekends. There was a pizza place on division avenue near the high school that we used to Go for lunch I'll never forget two slices and a Coke for a $1.99 But in no way did it compare to Domenico's. I live in South Florida now, but every time I go back to Long Island I make it a point to either stop at or have a couple of pies delivered from Domenico's. You can tell they use Grande cheese, And if anybody knows anything about pizza if you don't have that cheese on your pizza pie you're no way in the upper class of great tasting pizza. There was a time maybe around 2003 to maybe 2007 or 8 where most of the staff in there was not family mostly Latinos who worked their heart out but we're not quite adept at making a good pie. Our 1st visit & pleasantly surprised how big this Pizzeria & restaurant is. From the outside it's a Pizzaria but when you go in it's ongoing rooms of private rooms. We had reservations for dinner & to see Jeffrey Wands. They gave us a choice from 4 entree's. We ordered the Penne Ala Vodka & Eggplant parmigiana. The eggplant was much thicker than expected & the sauce was a little watery but the quality & tastes was amazing. Perfect salads & complimentary Bruschetta. We order two different glasses of wines which was not the best quality. The Service was just ok we understand that it's busy but they never came around with cheese or ask if we wanted another drink. Domenico's in Levittown is in the corner of the King Kullen shopping center off Hempstead Turnpike. The Italian restaurant has been there for years. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On occasion ( see pix) they do special presentations that one can purchase for a show and meal[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This last Saturday to an audience of about 30 people, the Magician Ari Bisk came to present his act. It was fun, silly and I want to say, cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I felt he smoothly incorporated the audience sitting at their tables and calling people up to assist him. Dinner was served first at 7 pm in the back room. Salad, bread, entree and dessert. The cake was lacking but not the show. Okay, so I have been coming to Domenico's since I was a baby and my parents before me. However, since moving off of Long Island I haven't gone as much as I used to. The last 2xs I went were disappointing. The time before our most recent visit our waitress was clearly under the influence of something as she was falling asleep while taking our order. We came back, as a fellow business owners, we know staff don't always represent the business at its best... but once again we were met by a terrible waiter. On 8/5/23 @ around 6-8pm - my mom had asked for plastic silver ware because she is a bit extra, I had actually just finished laughing at my mom's request when I looked down and saw my utensils covered in grime. I hadn't even touched my utensils yet. Upon telling the waiter when he returned with my mother's plastic utensils he didn't even bother to look at my fork and proceeded to say "anything else because I don't want to keep walking back and forth" I was taken aback and didn't get a chance to respond. Before that, he spilled soda on my sister's foot and floor area & didn't even clean any of it up. Additionally, food portions are out of control. Give a lot of food but not quality. I grew up eating Domenico's and had not been back in about 20 years. The food is still just as delicious, the staff is still just as nice! I got the baked clams and Calamari and Scungille Fra Diablo, my favorites. the flavors brought me back to my childhood and they've been my reference for what Italian food should taste like my entire life! You need to make a reservation to dine in but pick up is also always an option! The menu is huge and theres a large assortment of pizza available by the slice when you first walk in. We had used this restaurant for family celebrations for many years. Sadly my father recently passed and his service fell on Mother's Day. Needless to say trying to find a place for 15 peole (his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren) to eat was a challenge. Every place we tried had lines out the door. At the last minute, not knowing where else to try, we called Domenico's and they were very nice and squeezed us in. I went to get a slice on a Thursday afternoon and witnessed a manager tell these 2 men that bought pizza slices that they couldn't sit in the dining room that was empty. We went there to celebrate my Mothers 74th birthday. The Food and service was very good. Our server Michael was very attentive. My biggest issue is we spent $200 and when I got home I realized they added $6.49 No Cash Adjustment. I have heard ' minimum $10 or whatever for credit card. I've heard of 'discount' for cash but no where was it mentioned that "I" after spending $200 had to pay for their credit card fee. In this post covid world and modern cashless times with Venmo Zelle Apple Pay these cheapo's would charge their customers the credit card fee. Came here for a office Christmas Party. From the front it looks like a small pizzeria and as you walk into the back it opens up like a catering hall. There is even a back entrance where you can see how big it is. They have a lot to offer as far as parties go. I was here many years ago for family function and I remember all the food was good. That was a long time ago and for a restaurant to be in business for that long speaks for itself. We had about 40 people in our party. Stated off with the apps of Salad, Fried Calamari and Pasta. They offered us a choice of entrée, I choose the Filet of Sole served with Broccoli Sauté and for desert coffee, tea and cake. It was a cash bar and since the restaurant did not have a bar there were no happy hour drink prices so they gave us 4 pitchers of wine, 2 red and 2 white on the house. I thought that was a generous offer. Even though it was only 4 pitchers it seem to be enough. Everyone seem to have a good time. The food was from very good to good. Our servers were polite and efficient and you could see they were working very hard making sure we were being served well. Kudos to the staff. read more

This place is like a funhouse. You walk in, ask for a table, and the hostess just keeps walking and walking and walking. This place has at least 3 different rooms, two of which can house a sweet 16 (or something similar). We sat in the back back room, which had TVs and a little bit of privacy. Food was fine (the veal wasn't great), but since then I've also had the pizza and the eggplant parm, which are way better. Their heroes are gigantic. If you think you need a large, no you don't. We have been patronizing them for over 40 years; the founder is a wonderful guy, but I bet he is taking time away after putting his heart and soul into the restaurant for so long Eggplant Parm can be the best anywhere; or a watery mess.
