The food was pretty good and the staff was pleasant. I wouldn't say any of it was outstanding, but it was good overall. I tried a little bit of everything, my favorite was the chicken parmesan and eggplant. The coffee was extremely weak, as was the cappuccino. Some of the worst coffee I've ever had. Last weekend we came here for the first time . We see how crowded this gets and wanted to come here at 5PM on the dot to avoid crowds. As for the "vegetable" , 90% of the time- it's gonna be from a can. Also very affordable. And WHEN do you ever get an ENOURMOUS salad as a side with your Italian meal ? Never. It's normally a cup of iceberg/ romain lettuce and 2 croutons and some bottled dressing. Again , no great cost / loss. Adding 2 or 3 of these to an entre would make it look like you (the customer) were getting a great deal when you actually were not . LOL. Calamari appetizer was very "rubbery" . Should have gone with the stuffed mushrooms! NOW ON TO THE MAIN ENTRES : They were GREAT ! Sauce was very tasty (although a LOT of acidity to it). We had a wonderful dinner. Food was so good!!!! Our waiter Chris was amazing. However the negative comment is for the nasty female blonde manager. We arrived early because the church at confirmation was over sooner than we thought. She explained that her staff wasn't in yet and she was seating us all The way in the back passing room to room with open tables. Tables with people eating already. She told my husband to calm down when we asked why we can't sit in the other room or put some tables together. She was completely out of line instead of asking us to wait a little bit in the lobby or seating us elsewhere. Have been here several time's for dinner, as it's a favorite of friends. Got catered food for the first time this weekend for a party of 50 people. Ordered seafood salad, eggplant rolatini, penne ala vodka, chicken francese. The food was AMAZING. I don't know how they make their eggplant but it was so tender, not at all tough like you sometimes get. We wound up having too much food, but guests were thankful to take home the leftovers. My Husband and I had a wonderful dinner tonight dining in after being at home for so many months. We were dying for Italian and decided to venture out. I work at home and my husband is an essential worker going to NYC all throughout the pandemic working 12 hour shifts at night every other day. Weekends are especially packed but there never seems to be a wait - probably because of the amount of room this restaurant has. The outside is so deceiving, you'd think it's so small but when you walk in, it's endless. Great Chicken Parmigiana, tons of cheese. Actually, all the dishes they make have the perfect sauce. I do have to admit that they do skimp on the sauce. Don't understand why though, their portions are HUGE!! I had my daughter's birthday pizza party at Domenico's 2 years ago and we booked the magician. He was actually very good - even the parents were mesmerized. His show was great and the kid's loved him. This magician has been entertaining at Domenico's for years. I would definitely recommend having a party there. When you walk in through the shopping center, you'll enter the pizzeria. There are slices, rolls, garlic knots, and other pizzeria specialties. I've been to Domenico's several times, both for parties and regular dining experiences and the food is mediocre Italian food at best. The Italian bread is cold bread put on the table in a basket, the salad (whether you order the Caesar or Mesclun) lacks flavor. The veal is simply not good, so don't even consider ordering it. The chicken is the best option but everything just has very little to no flavor at all. Even the broccoli served on the side with garlic...wait, there was garlic? Luckily, the food is just as good as I remember. Their Caesar salad is my favorite. Delicious chicken Marsala served with penne cooked al dente in a nice tomato sauce. Equally good was the spinach and mozzarella ravioli in a vodka sauce. Service is courteous and pretty quick. I get the same thing every time, and every kid that rings me up comes up with a new price. Also, I can not STAND places that nickle & dime their customers - this is what loses you business. The menu very clearly states that entrees come with your choice of pasta, salad, vegetable, or fries... I always choose veg. I have now gotten FOUR different veg options, and every single time I am told that it is a $2-3 upcharge. Well, then, maybe the menu shouldn't say it COMES with vegetable. Clearly, that is no longer the case. Today I spent a $2 upcharge to get spinach, which also ended up being burnt and bitter to the point of inedible. A waste of my money, time, and patience. Probably, one of my favorite Italian restaurants I go to. The owner actually knows my father well. I have been coming here for years and they always do such a great job! When I come here I always order their chicken Parm dinner with a side of angel hair spaghetti, ovi with a side of ricotta cheese. I hosted my moms surprise 60th birthday party here on a Saturday night. I first met with Joy who was very welcoming and answered all my questions (I had a lot of questions). We were a party of 20 and we had a corner in the back room. When I arrived everything was set up and ready exactly how we talked about. They placed purple napkins (my moms favorite color), and had a display table set. Our waiter Chris was attentive, charismatic, and kind. This place has long been my own personal favorite. I used to go here as a child and have so many fond memories of stuffing my face with macaroni. I feel like I have grown up on there delicious (yet skimpy) tomato sauce (make sure you ask for more sauce). The stuffed mushrooms and fried calamari are always crowd pleasers as a mouth watering appetizer. For dinner, I am a sucker for the Veal Parm, since I've tried it I have not ordered anything else. But they have so many delicious dishes there. All rather unhealthy but insanely tasty none the less. The prices have seemed to go up a little over the years though. Prob because the place has expanded and now has a few different rooms. The rooms can be rented out for special occasions. On Sundays they have a magician who will perform tricks at your table if you request it. They can be stingy with the sauce, so make sure you express that you want a lot. It took at least 10 minutes for a server to greet us and when she did she said, Hi, you look like you guys are ready which to me means she must have seen us before coming over.
