Tip: This store had a decent garden section.
This afternoon, I was meeting up with friends at an eatery. I was twenty minutes early. The restaurant was in the same plaza as this Dollarama store. I decided to drive over to this store to check it out.
This Dollarama is next door to Food Basics. I found a parking spot fairly close from the former and walked in.
The kitchen section greeted me. I loved everything from an Instant Pot grill cage, to a bagel knife that can be used to slice your bagel in half, and spread cream cheese or whatever on each half.
It's such a trap for someone like me! I loved all of it. I decided to walk away from it.
The garden section was excellent. This store had a decent selection of potting soil, planters, fertilizer, and more. It was impressive!
I ended up in the drinkware section. It was equally as deadly! I saw a ton of ice cube trays. It's was cool seeing every ice cube shape and size imaginable.
What got me was seeing two water bottles that had Squishmallows on them. OMG! I must have them.
They were $5 each. They closed and opened nicely. They probably won't keep you water or beverage cold for long periods. However, they will work fine with ice.
The checkout had a female staffer and three self-checkout kiosks. I chose the human.
She was nice. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done.
We wished each other a great day. I left the store with my goodies and then drove over to the eatery with five minutes to spare.
There was some spill in front of the checkout area. There were paper towel squares sopping up the liquid. This female staffer went ahead and cleaned it up as I headed out the door.
I like this Dollarama. It has good merchandise. I'd return when I'm in the area again.
