I have never seen the store so clean! I am so impressed by the extra immense effort the team took to make the experience pleasurable for customers! And in return, I hope the customers can be respectful of them going far beyond of such! Thank you so much!

No toilet seat. No toilet paper.

Oh boy. No toilet seat or paper. Dirty. Grateful there was one but gross. Usually really long lines

Open everyday at 8am, except Sunday when they open at 9am reusable bags allowed in store.  Limit 30 customers in store at any one time

The coronavirus pandemic has caused 3.2 million people in this state to file for unemployment, double that of the next highest state. When you need every dollar in your budget to count, you go to Dollar Tree store. Before the coronavirus pandemic I shopped here for my travel needs: 4 ounce tubes of sunblock, microwave popcorn in packs of 3, wylers powdered sugar free wild cherry mix, 6 oz pomegranate craisins, while the wife got cascade dishwasher cleaner tablets, and soap filled scrubbing brushes. The virus wiped out all my travel trips, so I stop by here every week for the last few weeks. No outside bags allowed. You know they are cutting corners when they don't even offer antibacterial soap solutions for your hands when entering the store. Did not see any milk, eggs, rice, nor bread. I've been looking for toilet paper, and paper towels, but never found any at Dollar Tree nor at Costco, Target, Sprouts, Smart & Final nor CVS pharmacy. Dollar Tree doesn't carry anti bacteria disinfectant wipes, nor bottles of anti bacterial liquid soaps. I stock up on spaghetti sauce, preferably Pregos, but usually have to settle for Hunt's marinara sauce preferably with meat, and 24 ounce packs of pasta noodles. Today, Friday April 24 at 8am I hit the jackpot. New shipment of 1000+ rolls of toilet paper lined the walls from floor to ceiling, in packs of 4 toilet rolls per pack, each 240 sheets of double ply. Limit of 4 units per customer. $1 for 4 rolls of toilet paper. Costco will cost double that price. Trader Joe's sells a 12 roll pack for $5. Dollar Tree also had paper towels. Got 4 rolls of paper towels, and walked 15 minutes back home. Got the wife to come back this morning, and stocked up on 4 packs of toilet paper, while she got 4 packs of toilet paper. Went to the counter, made my purchase, and handed the wife the credit card. Associate asked if we were of the same party. Wife is too honest, and says yes. Associate says we can only buy 4 packs of tp. 4 pack of toilet paper is 16 rolls. 16 rolls should be fine you say? Looked up on the internet, and each senior man uses an average of 18 sheets of toilet paper a day, while each senior woman uses an average of 79 sheets of toilet paper a day. Each senior female goes through a 240 sheet roll of 2 ply toilet paper every 3 days, or 2 rolls every 6 days. No wonder people are hoarding toilet paper! A 4 pack of toilet paper would only last 6 days in the typical two person senior household. Now my ex-wife would have said no, we are not of the same party, and made the purchase of 4 additional packs of tp. And my wife, the next time she runs out of toilet paper will look at me and see me smile and say "I told you so!"

    A wide, colorful selection!

4 stars for their pet supplies! They have a wide assortment of leashes and harnesses for my boy! He wears out his harnesses like he does his chew toys. They also have a flea medication I wanted to try for him but I did not think they're as effective as the ones I get from the vet. I stuck with the harness, toys and baggies instead. Some of the sizes do run out fast so make sure you get it once you see what you need. There was a cute red one that had the last small size so I grabbed it! Thr customer service is not bad, they are just really busy perhaps due to their location (in the middle of El Camino near the In & Out and other restaurants). I was in line yesterday for awhile but Sita the cashier was friendly and always kept a smile.

In the spirit of Halloween, I take this moment to write about the store that saved my house from being egged or otherwise played tricks upon by mischievous trick-or-treaters. Where else besides Dollar Tree can I buy bags of candy, and anything else, for a dollar each?? Unfortunately I got roped at the last possible minute into seeing a Halloween dance performance, so I wasn't home to actually give out said candy, but that's besides the point... Yes, EVERYTHING here is one dollar. A buck. One Washington. 100 cents. "What the heck?! How do they make money??", was my first impression. To this day, I still do not know!! Let's look at all the awesome things you can get at Dollar Tree: Food: Cookies, chips, beef jerky, frozen dinners, ice cream, canned veggies, canned soup, popcorn, cake mix, trail mix, candy, poptarts Drinks: Pepsi, Shasta, Snapple, Ocean Spray, Hawaiian Punch, SunnyD Kitchen: Spatulas, shears, knives, strainers, can openers, pizza cutters, cutlery, garbage bags, aluminum foil, tupperware, aluminum serving trays, disposable plates and cups, napkins Cleaning: Wash cloths, sponges, dish soap, multi-purpose cleaning solution, brushes on handles, laundry detergent Hygiene/beauty: Soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair coloring Office/school: Pens, pencils, crayons, highlighters, notebooks, duct tape, childrens' activity books, novels, Bibles Toys: Rubik's cubes, trucks, action figures, cardboard puzzles, wood puzzles, playing cards, silly putty Tools: Wire cutters, levels, tape measures Christmas (seasonal): Santa hats, stockings, baskets, bags, ribbon bows, ornaments, nutcracker dolls, snow globes Misc: Greeting cards, dog toys, artificial flowers There are a lot of brand name items too. Why should I get this stuff anywhere else when I can get it here for only a dollar? Again, I don't know how Dollar Tree makes money since their profit margins must be really low, but I'm more happy to reap the benefits! They also accept manufacturer's coupons here now. Freaking. Awesome.

The prices are beyond great if you love vintage clothing and know fabrics. I may have found my favorite dress of all time here for a whopping $14 (because it's a two piece set of decorative vintage fabric) it was in the premium section and the volunteers were adorable making sure I knew why it was priced this way. (I couldn't afford a yard of this fabric retail I'm giddy about a vintage two piece set that I can customize). To then discover that the proceeds go to support women's scholarships was the ultimate bonus! My grand total for everything was $54 and I happily gave my change to the donation bucket by the register. If you are in the area and love unique vintage items this is a must explore. I had to resist the urge to buy several of the tea cup collections. I'm a sucker for vintage tea sets and they have several that are stunning! Great shop, fantastic volunteers who are donating their time to support a wonderful cause.

That was fine when my son would come there to get chips and Ramune, but then he tried to be nice and get me a pair of slippers. I was waiting in the car for him. He grabbed a pair of slippers, but didn't think to get a receipt - which apparently has no value anyways - and brought them back to the car. They were way too small, so I sent him back to exchange (60 seconds after he'd left the store). The lady at the counter said he could not because he had no receipt (not even a true statement as you'll find out). So, then he didn't want to disappoint me and went and got another pair. The sizing is in super super small print, and he got it wrong again. I went back with him and asked for a refund. The lady at the counter was nervous and said she would need to call a manager. Another guy came up, and said he couldn't help, and called for a third person. This guy comes up and says he can't help me, and points to the receipt that says "no returns or exchanges"... which begs the question, why even have receipts?! I said he just bought these two items a minute ago, and the "second" manager said there were no exceptions. I get it if we brought back slippers that had been used, but clearly that wasn't the case. I've told my son to go next door to the Marketplace now for his Ramunes and snacks, which he buys 3-4 times a week. I would say they have terrible customer service, but they really have NO customer service. I had a decent impression of this store and now think they are awful. I am stuck with two pairs of slippers that don't fit and my young son feels badly about the whole thing. Much ado about losing $12? Maybe, but the experience is way more important than the goods, and the experience was hot garbage.
