Not my favorite dollar tree but definitely a go to. The store is always reasonably clean although I feel as though I have a hard time finding some of my basic go to items here. There is a parking lot so sometimes parking can be a little bit difficult you have to park further than anticipated at times. Definitely go back again and again in a pinch. read more

I used to come to this Dollar Tree location nearly weekly to pick up something for my household needs, from toothpaste, dish detergent to aluminum foil, etc, especially when the prices were still living up to its name DOLLAR Tree. Ever since it's changed to $1.25, yes, it's a mere 25¢, but it's no longer such bargains anymore. Especially as time went on, they further reduce the quantity making everything at least 20-40% less, plus the extra quarter, I nearly do all my shopping at Costco nowadays. You can see others feel the same, as the lines no longer resemble what they used to be. If you need a small amount and quick, this Dollar Tree is a great option, as it's conveniently located right across from Sunnyvale In-&-Out Burgers, so super easy to get to. When you need every dollar in your budget to count, you go to Dollar Tree store. Before the coronavirus pandemic I shopped here for my travel needs: 4 ounce tubes of sunblock, microwave popcorn in packs of 3, wylers powdered sugar free wild cherry mix, 6 oz pomegranate craisins, while the wife got cascade dishwasher cleaner tablets, and soap filled scrubbing brushes. The virus wiped out all my travel trips, so I stop by here every week for the last few weeks. No outside bags allowed. You know they are cutting corners when they don't even offer antibacterial soap solutions for your hands when entering the store. Did not see any milk, eggs, rice, nor bread. I've been looking for toilet paper, and paper towels, but never found any at Dollar Tree nor at Costco, Target, Sprouts, Smart & Final nor CVS pharmacy. Dollar Tree doesn't carry anti bacteria disinfectant wipes, nor bottles of anti bacterial liquid soaps. I stock up on spaghetti sauce, preferably Pregos, but usually have to settle for Hunt's marinara sauce preferably with meat, and 24 ounce packs of pasta noodles. Today, Friday April 24 at 8am I hit the jackpot. New shipment of 1000+ rolls of toilet paper lined the walls from floor to ceiling, in packs of 4 toilet rolls per pack, each 240 sheets of double ply. Limit of 4 units per customer. $1 for 4 rolls of toilet paper. Costco will cost double that price. Trader Joe's sells a 12 roll pack for $5. Dollar Tree also had paper towels. Got 4 rolls of paper towels, and walked 15 minutes back home. Got the wife to come back this morning, and stocked up on 4 packs of toilet paper, while she got 4 packs of toilet paper. Went to the counter, made my purchase, and handed the wife the credit card. Associate asked if we were of the same party. Wife is too honest, and says yes. Associate says we can only buy 4 packs of tp. 4 pack of toilet paper is 16 rolls. 16 rolls should be fine you say? Looked up on the internet, and each senior man uses an average of 18 sheets of toilet paper a day, while each senior woman uses an average of 79 sheets of toilet paper a day. Each senior female goes through a 240 sheet roll of 2 ply toilet paper every 3 days, or 2 rolls every 6 days. No wonder people are hoarding toilet paper! A 4 pack of toilet paper would only last 6 days in the typical two person senior household. Now my ex-wife would have said no, we are not of the same party, and made the purchase of 4 additional packs of tp. And my wife, the next time she runs out of toilet paper will look at me and see me smile and say "I told you so!" read more

This might be the best Dollar Tree I have been ever been to! Unsure why there are so many negative reviews. The store is a fairly decent size and was well stocked when I went in on a Friday night. I had gone to another Dollar Tree prior to coming to this one and the other one was a mess with barely any Christmas stuff left. So when I came into this store, I was very impressed with how organized it was and many of their Christmas items were still on their shelves. I was able to get some cute Christmas gift bags and tissue paper. The employees were strict when it comes to mask wearing. One customer was spotted without a mask and was asked to put one on. I appreciate stores making sure customers are following Covid protocols. There were at least three cash registers open, which was nice. I was able to checkout quickly. Usually, when I go to a Dollar Tree there's only one register open because one person is working who usually needs to call for back up. Highly recommend this Dollar Tree! read more

This is the best dollar tree in the South Bay. Yes sometimes it gets so busy and messy but what dollar tree doesn't, but this location keeps things stocked and organized more often than any other I've seen. Plus even though it's not the largest store they offer the best items and seem to have the better selection of stuff and better variety. High turnover and items sell out quick. I can tell it's managed well and employees and cashiers are great. I can't think of anything they could do other than clean the soda fridges out, the drink/soda racks could use a cleaning. read more

4 stars for their pet supplies! They have a wide assortment of leashes and harnesses for my boy! He wears out his harnesses like he does his chew toys. They also have a flea medication I wanted to try for him but I did not think they're as effective as the ones I get from the vet. I stuck with the harness, toys and baggies instead. Some of the sizes do run out fast so make sure you get it once you see what you need. There was a cute red one that had the last small size so I grabbed it! Thr customer service is not bad, they are just really busy perhaps due to their location (in the middle of El Camino near the In & Out and other restaurants). When you're coming to Dollar Tree, you're not expecting a Target with wide aisles and cleanliness. Let's be real. BUT I have been to my fair share of Dollar Trees, even in SoCal, and this is probably the best one I've been to so far. It's decently sized and not very messy like other Dollar Trees. I can easily find what I need, and sometimes, things I don't need, but hey it's $1 why not. For the most part when I've gone, I got the same cashier who is very upbeat and friendly. When living for one, it's nice to have be able to buy smaller name brand products at an affordable price. I've ventured into the food and snacks and never had an issue, which I'll be honest, was a little weary at first. I like stocking up on disinfectant sprays and wipes from here and I can't get enough of their paint supplies. In the pandemic, I've done my own paint and wine nights and it's nice to hit up a spot where supplies are extremely affordable for paints, brushes and canvases. They weren't always stocked on canvases, but when they are I definitely buy more than one. If you're in the area, I'd highly recommend this Dollar Tree. Overall, I enjoy coming here every year for Christmas gift products. They have a great variety of stocking stuffers. Just would be nice if they re-stock the metallic markers that they used to sell, and please order more of the Christmas stickers. They ran out really early this year. They should order gift boxes in various sizes too. I initially had a 4 star check in for this location, but after going to the cashier and having do my exchange I went down to 1 I wouldn't expect everything to be super organized or many people on the floor to ask for help. The cashier Terri who's line I was in seemed pleasant untikwit was my turn. I could forgive the constant chewing and chomping of the gum with her mouth open, but when all I wanted to do was exchange three small plastic serving dishes because they were cracked, it all went down hill. Inguess it's a big deal if I didn't get the dishes at this location, let me throw this out there, I work in retail and people return and exchange items from different locations all the time. Why? Because it's convenient, but I guess her having to throw the comment of my mom getting these dishes at a different location and that the associate should have checked for cracks before they sold them had to be known. Then there was the big sigh that they had to be re rung and she initialed my receipt to show that the ones I exchanged weren't cracked. I understand maybe it's her way of doing things and I'm sure working here is tough with only one cashier and constantly having 5-6 deep waiting in your line, but don't make it seem like an issue when all I want to do Is exchange. This location has the same items that every other dollar store has except for the dog isle. The dog isle is loaded with toys, bowls, treats, and clothes. I like how the store has turned to MADE IN THE USA dog treats. The store is usually stocked but there is quite a mess most days. I have been to hundreds of dollar stores and I'd like to point out some growths I've noticed about this store within the last year. - The STAFF are all very kind (especially Maria). There tends to be the same cashiers when I come in which I believe says a lot about a company. They're kind and helpful as well. I even noticed one particular employee who is always doing stocking, cleaning, etc. I've also noticed more staff members jump on when lines form which is always super convenient. So major kudos team. - The INVENTORY has definitely impressed me. I remember things were not usually stocked or they were mishandled/missing/broken. But here they seem to have full shelves and newer items - which always peek my interest. - The CLEANLINESS has improved immensely. Just the other day I visited and asked the manager if they just cleaned the store (it almost looked brand new). She giggled and thanked me for noticing. - The PRICING lol! Per usual, always just $1.
