Jonhely was super sweet and helpful! Would come back just for her! Helped us with some samples and her favs

See's is my favorite chocolate maker. This is a smaller location at an odd location on the corner of a busy street. Small awkward parking. They have everything see's has to offer. Today I went to get the centennial Christmas tree ornament and some gifts for the holidays.

parking lot can be small when you go close to a holiday, but usu i can find parking when i'm stopping by to buy a gift. the workers here are friendly & see's is my go to for chocolates or for gifts! my fav is the dark chocolate chip truffle & the milk beverly! :) there's also an option to choose what chocolates you want in a box or if you're running low on time, they also have prepackaged boxes. i like choosing my own for a box b/c you're able to customize it w/ the person you're giving it to's preference!

I looked around the store and loved all the nicely displayed boxed chocolates. I have been a customer for several years and know how delicious their chocolate is. I loved the crunch of the kataifi threads and the pistachio filling. I decided to buy a piece of the FrischSchoggi Dubai Milk Chocolate. I also decided to buy a few pieces of the mini mousses. I picked the orange chocolate for myself and the hazelnut for my husband. Jose boxed both mini mousses in a cute little box. I really appreciate the customer service I received from Jose. He took his time with me and answered several questions I had about the mini mousse chocolates. We tried our chocolates after dinner and they were so good. I would definitely buy the mini mousses again as well as the FrischSchoggi Dubai Milk Chocolate.

The staff we interacted with were friendly & welcoming. We were nicely greeted by multiple workers. We were also proactively offered assistance & samples of gelato. Every flavor we sampled was incredibly tasty! We ordered a small sized cup of Mixed Berries & a regular sized cup of Coffee Temptation & Chocoviar. The staffer who scooped our order meticulously shaped our gelato into generously portioned mounds & wiped the cup sides clean. They also came with a perfectly tempered dark chocolate piece placed in the top! She didn't rush providing quality though there was a small line. The gelatos were absolutely delicious, so deep & rich in flavor, & wonderfully creamy. We loved our treats! It's a memorable gelato experience because it's so amazingly good!

However, I got a bit curious about it today, wondering if the gelato was truly worth the unusually high price that they were selling it at and the somewhat high-end atmosphere that they were trying to cultivate near its kiosk, so I thought I'd give it a try. They only allow you a grand total of four samples, but trying them made me understand why this place was expensive as it was. The lemon ice cream was the most sour, lemon-tasting lemon ice cream that I've ever had, and the dark chocolate ice cream had a rich, chocolate-y flavor that wasn't too sweet. The memories I had of the other two that I tried are slowly escaping my brain as I write this, but I was pleasantly surprised with them both as well. There were two servers and one of them was much, much nicer than the other (unfortunately I got the less nice one) but both made sure that you got your money's worth by making the cup as full (and also round) as possible. Overall, an interesting experience. I am far too poor to return again, but I wouldn't mind coming back if I got the chance (and maybe if someone else paid).

Prices are in the higher range. Service need to improve, some of the drink was club soda and Diet Coke, they bring in a glass when you ask for refill, then you get the surprise in the bill that they charge for each drink because are in a 6oz or less per bottle.....and the server didn't explained that, and cost $6 per bottle. They have a large kiosk inside Valley Fair Mall. I do believe they will be moving in the future into a larger location in the mall and have their own storefront. They had so many boxes of chocolates and chocolate bars nicely organized and displayed. It was hard to decide what to get. The young lady behind the counter helped me make that decision. I wanted to try a few of the chocolates but they did not have samples for the items I was interested in. That didn't stop me from making a purchase. I'm a huge fan of orange and chocolate. My husband loves chocolate and hazelnut, as do I. The sales lady showed me the Prafeuille chocolate orange box and the hazelnut cream chocolate wafers. What I liked about these varieties, was that each chocolate treat was individually wrapped. I decided to buy a box of each of these. Checking out was fast and easy. I really appreciated the help I got from the sales lady I already know what I'm going to buy the next time I come back to shop at Royce. Both my husband and I tried the chocolates. The orange chocolate is a small thin milk chocolate squares filled with an orange sauce. It's absolutely delicious. I loved it. The hazel cream chocolate wafer is hazelnut cream sandwiched between crispy wafers dipped in chocolate. That was also very good. My husband loved it. Overall, we both loved their chocolate. It's very good quality chocolate with some unique flavor combinations. The customer service was great. I only wished they offered samples of all their offerings so you can try before you buy. I'm looking forward to trying their orange chocolate truffles next time.

A pricey little box, but for this quality, it's to be expected. I sampled Vietnamese coffee and raspberry yuzu. I much preferred the tartness of the raspberry yuzu. The Vietnamese coffee was more on the dense and darker side which I wasn't really feeling. I ended up getting a custom 6-piece box: raspberry yuzu (x2), rose water saffron (x2), and sesame praline (x2). The raspberry yuzu was extra yummy with the chocolate this time. The bitterness and tartness went well together. The sesame praline was interesting. The filling had a more crispy and gritty texture as a result from what appears to be sugar crystals. The sesame was nicely incorporated so that it wasn't overpowering. I really liked it. The rose water saffron was interesting. It definitely had floral and earthy notes. This is among their most popular flavors, but it just wasn't for me unfortunately. It slightly crossed the floral soap threshold for my taste buds. No matter, I know I will be back for the raspberry yuzu and sesame praline someday, and I hope to try other unique flavors they have as well.
