From apples to Brita pitchers to shoes to beer and liquor!! You can find it all here. They've improved the bakery over the years and they do have a nice specialty dips and cheese section. We recently tried the Fredrik's Meijer brand frozen pizzas and they were awesome! The crust was so crispy and delicious as were the toppings. One of the things that has changed over the years is the number of employees that work the lanes. Day Staff facilitated drop off of deceased friends items for review. When we dropped off items, staff said they would call when review was complete. They called 15 min prior to closing & I asked if it would be ok if we picked up the returns on Monday & I gave them all the account info they requested. Since they were closed Sunday, they said no problem, no rush & contract could be signed Monday upon pickup. They said they kept a basket of clothes to sell. When we got home, the store manager called after hours. (She was not there when we dropped off. ) She asked us to come pick up the clothes now. We returned to find all of items out on the curb. She came out to accuse us of not following rules we had never heard of. She claimed we violated rules by not waiting 10 minutes for clothes review & didn't sign the contract yet so they weren't going to keep any items. Neither 'rule' was ever mentioned at drop off. She threw her staff & customers under the bus & did not back up staff on all the things we coordinated with them. She decided to punish the customer instead. Never seen anything like it. She should not manage a business or people.

He spoke to us about Springfield with such joy, that I nearly hunted down a real estate guide before leaving town! Seriously, though, he was beyond cool, and it was such an honor to meet him. The shop is full of the usual suspects one hunts for when seeking mementos to take home from a trip. Prices were more than fair. We also had the luxury of staying in an Airbnb above the shop (run by the shop owner's brother), and the whole experience with the family was amazing. Mr. Lincoln's Souvenirs & Gifts is not far at all from Lincoln's home, so definitely swing by for a unique shopping experience alongside a gent who loves his city and its visitors.

I always end up leaving Springfield with way more than I traveled in with when I visit Clothes Mentor! I love it. This visit, I lucked up and found that they were having a 70% off sale and was in complete awe!! The staff is always friendly, the music is great to shop and sing along to and there is always a sweet smell in the air. It's quiet, not crowded and just an overall good feel!
