Prices are on par with department stores like Nordstroms, some splurge items, mostly nicely made clothing. They carry a lot of Eileen fisher, also Patagonia now. I've noticed that there seems to be a change recently, however, with an increase on items under 50, something you wouldn't have seen five or ten years ago! This place has been my go-to for many years, and I've rarely been disappointed. Both my mother (70s) and daughter (30s) shop here too, and were hardly the first family who enjoy the shop together. And we love that there are still nice, local businesses on MacArthur and in the heart of town.

As a plus size person - I guess she was assuming I did not fit into any of their clothes. I find this behavior extremely rude, condescending and discriminating . All customers deserve to shop an entire store. She had no idea what I was looking for or whom I was buying for. This behavior is unacceptable and would strongly urge this store to change their attitude towards women of all sizes.

As I said in the conversation, I didn't expect anything to come out of my previous post so I'm not going to complain about the things sent to us in return for me to change my review. I will increase it to two stars because he took time out of his schedule to personally call me. Other than that, I hope Amanda at least got a warning for speaking to customers so disrespectfully and treating my family terribly. A "manager of the year" should know how to treat customers right. And while my and my husband's experience may be few and far between, I still don't consider her behavior acceptable whatsoever. ------------------------------------------- I never write reviews, but felt my experience with this company needed one. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. By far the worst costumer service, professionalism and overall experience throughout my wedding planning. I initially found out about Savvi through a bridal expo and received a discount through them. My mom and I went to the store to check them out (due to my future husband being deployed). They were extremely pushy and wouldn't let us leave the store without committing to them. Then came the problems. All of our groomsmen were from out of town, so they had to call in then measurements. My father and nephew got measured in the store. In the days preceding the wedding, both picked up their suits and nothing fit. The manager of the store, Amanda, even offended my dad by saying he had gained weight. I'm sorry, but he had gotten measured weeks before and this was inches off. My future father-in-law was measured by his wife and when nothing fit she called her a liar. That's just the tip of the iceberg though. I was in panic mode wondering if anything would fit since their track record with 3 people hadn't been good. They did order extra pieces (their one positive) and promised they'd be in the day before the wedding. Of course, they weren't. There was a "problem with UPS". Amanda was terribly rude and when I was extremely upset because their store made a mistake and panicking about the suits arriving on time she wouldn't admit blame. They were hand delivered on the day of the wedding and thank goodness everything fit or else I would've had a major meltdown. This company caused me an unneeded amount of stress the day and days leading up to my wedding. I would have gladly gone with Men's Wearhouse and paid a little more to have peace of mind. I know this is a long review, but please do not order your suits from these people. I cannot explain just how offensive, rude and unhelpful they were to me, my now husband and my family members.

Some of the staff are very helpful and attentive. One gentleman hosted a 10 minute sale in the store and he was the most helpful out of all the employees I spoke to the day we went shopping here. The price of shoes is more than reasonable and so far the quality is good. The only two issues I had were: 1. The bathroom (women's) doesn't have a changing table for little ones. We ended up going next door to Target. 2. Some of the staff were not as attentive as they could have been. During our visit, there were at least 10-20 people in the store and two of the employees at the checkout stands were just chitchatting as a woman was standing in front of them waiting for them to finish their conversation before trying to ask for help. If you've worked in retail then you know how to pause a convo, help customers first, then continue that conversation when able. This isn't a major issue but during a rush, it's more noticeable. This store does carry some shoes in wide sizes. Most may need to be ordered though. Other than those things, this store is helpful. I came in and explained to Sharla I've been wearing a 36DDD for years but I've began to notice a lot of spillage and is causing my shirts to not look so good at work. It was causing a lot of insecurities as I always felt like everyone could tell my bra didn't fit. She took SO much time to help me find the right bra(s). I felt bad for having her walk back and forth so many times but she didn't complain or make me feel as if I was bothering her.
