The store is a gem for inexpensive wines, priced like Trader Joe's wines. Though many of the store's items are close to their "Best By" dates or are overstocks, their prices are significantly below Safeway's (increasing) prices and Safeway's highly priced "sale" items in its weekly ad. Grocery Outlet carries some items that are not available at other supermarkets. Large bags of salami ends (eaten in moderation) come to mind. Yes, as some Yelpers have posted, the cashiers are not friendly or sometimes rude. But mostly, the cashiers simply do their job, and the customers are on their way. A lower expectation may help. The store could use some of those large platform carts for larger items or multiple cases, like at Costco or Smart & Final.

Party room meaning the room where we set up our food buffet and other dishes for family and friends parties. We had our 2 foldable banquet tables in there that we bought from Costco and we eventually we got too lazy to put them away. So I gave Ken a call and we worked together after several calls to each other (and texts) and were able to give him the exact dimensions we wanted for our new cabinets, including the wood finish. We just wanted a simple looking design that would meet our needs. Our custom made cabinets came a week later and I am super happy! So glad I'm able to work with Ken in getting us the furniture we eventually love for our own. Perfect! ....... Ken Nguyen is super helpful to help find the furniture you're looking for. Over a year ago I stumbled upon this place in San Rafael and ordered a credenza piece for our dining room and I still love it. I wanted new dressers for our bedroom since our 10 year old IKEA dresser drawers broke. I was able to order & purchase 4 new dressers at Dimensional Furniture with one of them made custom sized to a space that didn't match standard sized dressers. I am really super happy. The dressers are made with solid wood and you have a choice of 10 colors to choose from for the finish. You also have a choice of either wood or silver pull handles for the drawers. I came in on a Tuesday morand my dressers were delivered yesterday afternoon...on a Thursday (the same week)! I paid an extra fee to have my old broken IKEA dressers taken away as well. They have an Orange Theory Fitness center, a Woodland's Pet Store, as well as a AAA location (for all my automotive/DMV needs). Over the years, they've done a really nice job of landscaping the property. There are plenty of palm trees and outdoor seating areas (which is especially convenient now during this Covid craziness). The shopping center is always clean. Seldom will you find litter or debris on the ground. In the past few year, more upscale shops have opened their doors to appease the local Soccer moms, including Spanish Table, West Elm, Lavande Nail Spa, and Athleta. You certainly won't find a Target, Panda Express or $1 Store in this mall. Welcome to Mill Valley, folks. Although Strawberry Village continues to expand its vendor portfolio and spruce itself up, my favorite thing about this mall is the smaller businesses who have been there for years. I'm talking about the old shoe/watch repair store, the copy shop, the camera store, and Arch Rival (which continues to sell sporting goods and shoes). I love the selection, have found fun toys for my daughter when she was young and re-donated when she grew out of them. I have found some great cookware i.e., Corning Ware pieces, small kitchen appliances throughout the years. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. And they often have some sort of promotion with '1/2 off days' or everything green 1/2 off for St. Patricks day. Oh, and they often have throwback music playing which adds to the kitschy ambience.
