I visited Dollar Tree within the Valley Hi Village in Sacramento, CA [6650 Valley Hi Dr] on Sunday, 05/03/26, around 1 PM. For this shopping trip, I primarily needed the following items: * Eternal Water Bottles (amazing brand, delicious alkaline spring water) * Candles * Rubbing Alcohol * Cleaning supplies for the kitchen * Cleaning supplies for cars What I loved about this location was the huge variety/offering of products available. The store itself was huge and presented well-stocked aisles for literally everything a person may need. Parking was easy and accessible. The customer service was nice and quick. Most importantly, the price points were affordably great and budget-friendly. Overall, I was pleased with this Dollar Tree location. Thumbs up for this place! read more

Very nice store everyday great service..but one problem the security doesn't own anyone and scare away the people very dramatic. Especially people who are shopping. If you are at a register and the homeless people are at the register they help no one and call security to yell at everyone. There is no service read more

Happened to be in the area and thought I would stop by and all I can say is WOW! Amazing selection, nicer than the three stores in Elk Grove, and if you are looking for craft supplies, DT has upped their game in recent months. The crafters square section is impressive, and this store has three aisles, yes three aisles of crafting stuff to peruse. If you need brushes, paint, beads, general wood things, etc - it's worth a stop. Okay, I know some of y'all may turn up your nose at the area - all I can say to that is get over yourself! The best DT stores seem to be in former grocery stores, like this one, and it's right around the corner from the Kaiser vaccine place in south sac. Check it out!! read more

Stopped by this store on the way home for a few birthday bags and tissue paper. Now I'm fully aware that this is a dollar tree and I know the type of people who tend to come in here for multiple items, however that does not excuse how dirty everything is in this store! I felt like I needed a bath after I left. They did have the items I needed in stock and the cashier Buenisha was very kind but again I expect that if you only have one line open with eight people in it you get another cashier a little faster to prevent dealing with upset customers who are already dealing with the very dirty store. read more

I like coming to this dollar tree because it is near some of my favorite stores such as big lots. I find this dollar tree to be a good size store and carries quite a bit of supplies. For me i like to shop for arts and craft supplies and this stores carries quite a bit of selection. I always find something i don't need but they i end up getting it. lol.... Some of my favorite aisles are the holiday selections, because the items are fun to look at and i get inspired to make new projects for gifts. The holiday selection is usually pretty big too. I also notice the space between each aisle is roomy and i don't feel crowded or small when there are multiple people in one aisle. I also have noticed they sometimes carry more stock than the one near my house. Every time i come in here they have stuff well stocked or someone stocking up the empty shelfs. most times i have been here they are busy. The lines do go fast since they have enough cashiers to keep the line going. Parking is easy because they are located in a shopping plaza. They have a big lot where there is plenty of parking. Overall this is one of place to stop by when i am in the area. Sometimes i just come here because i can't find the stuff i am looking for at other closer locations and this place always solves what i am looking for. I have shopped here every so often, but was usually not compelled to bother writing a review for this place. In the past I considered it pretty much an average Dollar Tree. I just come here when I need inexpensive gift wrap, holiday decorations, party favors, etc. During those times, especially during holidays, the locals take over and leave it looking like a hurricane came through. Stuff on the floors, disorganized, and unsupervised kids getting into mischief. The floors dirty and stained. Recently, though, I decided to stop in for several specific items, but not really expecting to find them. To my surprise, the store had some noticeable improvements. Merchandise stocked in a neat and orderly fashion, the stained floors covered with some indoor/outdoor carpeting, and best of all, the customers were friendly and polite during a busy time of the day. I was happy to find the things I was looking for, plus a lot more! Got some great bargains and now I'm compelled to return more often! Negatives of this store is that it is located in a not so great area and the middle driveway entrance to the strip mall from Valley Hi Drive is very steep and will scrape the bottom of most cars. Why I keep forgetting to avoid this I will never know!!! read more

This dollar tree is always busy and its in a very busy location. Look out for the pan handlers, because they are always out over here. This store is cool, its just in a ghetto part of town. Its a really big dollar tree store and they are always fully stocked in here. They always have enough registers open when they need to have them opened. My only issue with this store is I just get caught up and get off track with things I don't need. This isn't the best place to get the blow up balloons. I don't think they have someone that do them on a regular bases so you have to wait for someone to come and help you. And they are never in a hurry to help. The parking lot is a big lot, but its always busy as well because its shared by multiple businesses and people wondering around from car to car saleing a lil bit of everything from perfume to DVD's too you name it. I won't come over here at night because I don't think that its to safe. The store has a lot of stuff and some times its clean in here and some days it items just thrown all over. They have a variety of food items in the frig and so many snacks to choose from. All I can say is who don't like the dollar tree store? But if you're not careful this stuff adds up fast. read more

$Tree. its a good place to find bargain items. But don't expect to find everything. This $Tree doesn't have a lot of foot traffic and isn't busy most of the time. The manager of this store is rude every time I walk in. I recently went in and bought a bunch of wine. I asked for a box and they couldn't give me one. The carts cannot go outside so they told me to pull up my car to make it easier to put in my car. 3 people at the register and no one helped me. My daughter started to help me and the manager started yelling at my daughter saying she can't help me. I was furious. Now I remember why o haven't been in this store in about a year. read more

This particular location has an employee whom I believe deserves recognition for going above & beyond the call of duty to provide exceptional customer service to everyone she comes in contact with. Upon walking into the store I witnessed her greet each customer with , "Hello~ welcome to Dollar Tree". Most people ignored her but that didn't stop her from greeting from her register even though her line was growing quickly. After gathering my items I stood in line and Shaniece greeted me and began to ring me up. She was friendly, professional & worked quickly. Her attitude was genuine and positive. Customer service is very important to Shaniece and it shows. I've encountered this young lady on several occasions and she makes my shopping experience a pleasant one each & every time. One of the biggest dollar stores that I walked into. Huge selection on dry foods and frozen foods. Ok store overall.

I went in to this store for some quick party decorations....got my stuff and got in line with a ghetto fabulous checker, there were 2 people in front of me, when I got in line, her light was still on....another worker yelled at her and said for her to take her break after someone came to relieve her, when that worker came he went to the lane next to hers, she waited on the two people in front of me and then very rudely told me excuse me ma'am she's my last customer you need to get in another line..... I was pissed off to say the least, I said nothing and went to the other line , but she knew I was very upset, I went to get in the other line and this little old asian lady let me go in front of her, which was so sweet! I don't care if you work at Dollar Tree if you work at Taco Bell it doesn't matter, if you ever want to make it in this world you're going to learn the hard way that that is not how you treat people and this is why America is going downhill because of this entitlement attitude and because people think that they can do whatever they want whenever they want however they want and don't care who it affects!! read more

Terrible. Worst assistant manager ever!!! The line was very long and there was only 2 register open. When I was next to pay for my items, the cashier, Jodie, had yelled out to another woman by the door who was leaving to grab her stuff and told her she will ring her items up right now. I asked to ring me up because I was next and had fewer items. She said "I'm the assistant manager, Jodie, I can do whatever I want." Then she had started to ring the other customer first without even asking me if it was okay to ring someone else first. She was very rude, disrespectful, and no customer service at all. She had shown no intergrity. When it was my turn to ring my items, I had paid but she shorted my change. I did not want to go back to make a scene as the security officer allowed her to do whatever she wants. This store had no principal whatsoever, it's a shame. read more
