I accompanied my uncle on his shopping trip to DD's because he needed thermal wear. My uncle got what he needed for winter wear, as a lot of the thermal wear is only eight bucks. This location has merchandise which I normally don't find at DD's, such as Wahl's Men's Clippers and Batman and Dragonballz action figures. According to a store associate, they get a shipment roughly four times a week. So, they never know what they're going to get. It's a good plan to do your Holiday Shopping here, as they carry a lot of brand name toys and electronics. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at DD's on Florin Road. While shopping for baby shower items, I was repeatedly approached by an employee who seemed focused on me throughout my visit. After I declined a shopping basket, she approached me again, insisted that I place the store's wicker basket inside a shopping basket, and then dumped my items into the basket without my permission in front of other customers. The interaction was embarrassing and made me feel singled out and treated with suspicion rather than as a customer. As a Black woman, the repeated scrutiny left me feeling racially profiled and unwelcome. What made the situation even more frustrating was that when I later called the store to obtain the employee's name or ID number so I could accurately report the incident to corporate, the employee refused to provide her name or identifying information. Customers deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I hope management thoroughly reviews this matter. read more

I had a lot of stuff in my cart and was about to go check out and some dumb person took my sweater that was already in my cart and I had let the lady up front know but they didn't do anything about it so I'm gonna just take matters into my own hands they laughed and I didn't think it was funny. Service was fast. I was having a great day until that happened and I honestly wanted to leave my cart and he an ahole too. Not long after I checked out someone else behind walks out with a full on bedding set and didn't pay for it. If you would love your stuff to be stolen from you from other customers here be my guest. Don't even think to tell employees cause it's no use even asked if their cameras work and they said it does and I asked to see if anyone can pull it up to see if that person was still in the store but nope nothing. It's sad that there wasn't any type of security either do better Sacramento thank God I don't live here no more Jesus Christ. I hope whoever took it knows karmas a real thing and I wasn't the one to do that crap to. Good prices but area is really bad the ghetto as you would say. Good evening I wanted to let your staff Supervisor and managers know I want to your floor location. DD's very clean. Great customer service the very handsome young security guard at the front was very polite very nice greeting. All the staff was amazing one that stand out the most in the back in the fitting room, very conversational very nice and polite. I believe her name was Cheyenne. I wanted to let you guys know how awesome and amazing her customer service was we were talking about just Life and she was very very nice and on top of doing her job greeting and being her herself very happy and polite. Just wanna let you guys know. I like to go to this DD's. I haven't been here in a while but and the manager that was at the front and Assistant and I think that was a cashier so just wanted to let you guys know how amazing you guys are to have these these young ladies I hope you guys look out and The wore them with something. I love DD's!! It's one of my favorite places for finding cute clothes/household decor at affordable prices! I stopped by their Florin Road location to buy some scrubs for work. It's a newer location. This DD's Discounts is located in the Southgate Plaza. I believe this store replaces where the Skechers Outlet store was located. This location is big and well lit. I was able to find what I was looking for. Their line wasn't long, and was able to pay for items quickly and head out. The staff was friendly and wore masks. There's plexiglass at the registers as well as hand sanitizer. read more

I visit this place whenever I visit the 99 cent store right by it. They have pretty pictures against the right wall of the store for a good deal. Some have a psalm on them with an image, and some are Paris aesthetics. There are even some small 3D images. My favorite ones are the black and white pictures with something red in the pictures. The part is all glittery and shiny. One was a telephone both in the rain. They sell a variety of items including pans, bed sheets, blankets, mugs, jewelry holders, toys, and clothes. read more

Time and time again I've gone in and Jaimey the manager is so engaging, you can tell her employees enjoy working with her she is always moving and helping lead her crew. I have yet to see someone who enjoys her job as much as this young lady does. read more

My mom had gone to buy a dress for my cousins graduation; she's a very kind and courteous woman. She had gone up to the front to pay and asked the cashier about the return policy since she knew it was getting close to closing time and the fitting room was closed. The cashier told her she was fine to go and try on the dress and that she would have someone open the fitting room for her really quickly since it was just ONE item. She went back and was met with an incredibly rude employee who complained about the time, that it was closed etc. and my mom was obviously confused since the cashier had said otherwise. I used to work at ross, trust me I get how bothersome it can be and I know you might hate your job but you can still be courteous. My mom even voiced that she was worried it could be bothersome but the cashier told her otherwise so it's just confusing? It's just a shame especially knowing how kind of a person my mom can be, if you're not built for customer service and get bothered by someone with 1 clothing item then I suggest maybe exploring different career options :) read more

I visited this store on Thursday November 13, 2020. One of the worst shopping experiences I have ever had. Upon walking into the store I was greeted by Loss Prevention and Sales Associates which was great. However, when I'm shopping at a discount store, I like to make sure the quality of things I am purchasing are up to my standards - I take my time. I spent a long time in the store, looking at everything. I thought it was a great place to get some Christmas shopping done. When working retail, if you suspect someone of attempting to shoplift, you should not make it obvious, at all. What I experienced was Loss Prevention casually and occasionally walking around me/making eye contact with me. I get it, you're watching me just like you are watching everyone else in this store. LP was very kind and doing their job well. My problem is with the person I am assuming was some sort of manager with a clipboard. It was the lack of customer service skills, a frown and furrowed eyebrows at all times, and the obvious "Let me pretend to push these clothes right next to you out of the way so I can see what you have in your cart," that really bothered me. You were not 6 feet away from me like you should have been. Instead, you came right next to me to do this. I made my purchase and left. I'm very appalled that this is how your store is ran - making people feel uncomfortable. I'm extremely disappointed. read more
