We don't have Daiso in my city yet, so whenever I'm passing through and have time to stop, I do. This location is on the smaller side from ones I've visited in other cities, but it didn't disappoint. Because I'm not a regular, I spent time walking up and down every aisle to see what they had. I came in with a list of items that I was hoping to find, and ended up finding most of those things...and a whole lot more. This location has a great selection of stationary (pens, mini staplers, sticky notes, stickers, etc), hair and make-up, household cleaning/storage/supplies, and dishes. My favorite find included some travel bags and mesh bags to protect items in the laundry. It also had a ton of delicious snacks, including ramen, candies, seaweed, rice crackers, and pocky. Of course I spent more than I expected, but that is also to expected. I'll be back! read more

Are you serious? I haven't wrote a review yet? Ive been here more than 5 times since they've open. This is a pretty big store. They have the typical stuff like many of the other Daiso stores. A beauty area, stationary, toys, kitchen wear, dinner wear, crafts, snacks and many more. You got everything you can think of. Oh I forgot to mention garden. But its really fun to find things that are unusual and gives that feel of imports. I know for sure the SOME snacks here are not found in the typical Asian Grocery Stores. You'll find some unusual good ones here. I have friends who love Hello Kitty. They get a kick out of getting some stuff from here as well. I enjoy it here. Ill most likely return. read more

There are so many things I love about Daiso. To name a few; They're conveniently located in the Delta Shores shopping center where there's plenty of parking, they have a great assortment of clear lucite containers for organizing and/or storage, they ave several isles of assortment ramen noodles, they have affordable cute gift wrap and their diverse Pocky assortment is outstanding. What a great place to shop. There is so much good stuff. It's November 2nd and all Halloween stuff is 50% off. That's a great deal. If you like stocking up you should check it out. I came here specifically for navy blue origami paper. They have a big selection of papers. Thinking about it now, I should have picked up the birthday paper as I could have used it for the birthday cards I'm making. I was just so focused on looking for a navy blue selection that I didn't think towards the future. They did have navy blue construction paper. Much bigger than the origami paper. I think 9x12 or something like that. It was too big to fit in my paper cutter. It came in a pick of 8 sheets for $1.75. I thought that was a good deal. I used the plain navy blue to make my greeting cards. It wasn't as fun as using patterned paper, but it worked and the price was right. I was able to pick it up today and complete my greeting cards. The other option was amazon, but it wouldn't be here till next week and a pack of navy blue patterned paper would have been $12.99 so what I got was a much better deal even though it was just plain it worked. They also have lots of nice greeting cards and some really creative ones for Christmas that I liked. They had one with little windows that opened ups, like an advent calendar. It I hadn't already started making my Christmas cards I would have picked a few up. My guess is they were also $1.75, but I didn't see a price. They also have a large sticker collection. The craft section overall is huge. They have sewing supplies, felt, safety pins, ect. If I had a bigger budget I bet I could have found a lot of things I could have used. I know no one's going to this store based on a review but I do want to say this store has good customer service. I was one of those people who found out I was charged 75 cents more than price listed. Everything counts in California these days, such a rip off to live here, but anyway. The manager corrected the price and I of course apologized for being a hassle but he refunded me and said he'd make sure to double check the price. He was very nice about it and didn't do it begrudgingly like lots of people in retail do, which is understandable given this website exists and everyone including me has "an opinion". Anyway, aside from that they have all the random stuff you've been meaning to buy at some point and it's all cheap and cute. It is like Five Below but Asian. And before you call me racist or something their price tags literally are in Japanese. So as long as it isn't from China I feel OK buying this stuff. Had a weird experience with a worker with long hair today. He seemed like he didn't want to be there. The self check outs were being used, and the worker came by gave a side eye and asked if he wanted to help us with a rude tone. He spoke really fast saying that sales were final and if we wanted a reciept. At first I didn't realize he asked if I wanted a recipt because he spoke so fast, and he gave me a look when I said yeah (I was agreeing that I knew the sale was final.) and he repeated that all sales were final in rude tone. It was just an odd experience he should definitely work on his customer service. To be honest I wish I just waited for the self checkout. If you're into Japanese stuff, this might be a fun store for you. It kind of reminds me a Dollar Tree but MUCH neater and cleaner. They have a variety of items from food and drinks to plates and bowls, office items and stationary, cleaning supplies and toys. It's not a huge shop but they make the most of their space with LOTS of items to look at. Why would you close the doors at 7:50pm when the closing time is at 8:00pm? I walked up and the doors were locked and the associate said they were closed at 7:50pm. When I asked even if it says 8:00pm and it's 7:50pm you're closed and they said yes. I guess change the hours if you don't want people coming in at 7:50pm. Other than that, selection is great for a good price but other than that, don't inconvenience the customer when obviously the time posted is on the door. read more

The Delta shores Daiso is the biggest one I have been to. They have a big spot with alot to offer. Parking is a breeze in the parking lot. They have so.much stuff from A to Z it would be a list for days to write. So for a few random things we found and saw were kids school supplies, games, toys, cleaning products and tools neededto clean a house,even drain screens for the sink or shower, chopsticks and stuff related to it. Candy of course. Let your imagination expand and they probably have it. We spent along time wandering aground and did need help finding a few things since they weren't in their original spot and the employees helped out and even tried finding stuff for the kids. Came on a Monday afternoon and love that the staffs are wearing mask & gloves, which makes me appreciate that they are prioritizing health & safety! Also, in respect to that, be prepared to wait about 30 minutes outside as their sign allows a capacity of 27 customers at a time. Of all the Daiso stores I've been to, this is one of the smaller ones to me. It is conveniently located in big shopping areas (off I-5 N near Elk Grove) along with many other stores such as Panda Express, Walmart, In-N-Out burgers, Ross, etc., to name a few, and plenty of parking. Nonetheless, it is always nice to see Daiso expanding its business furthermore into the Central Valley areas & all over CA (not just confined to Bay Areas or bigger cities only). This is a place to shop for "little somethings" that cost you US$1.50 per item. I normally try to avoid going here because I'll end up picking stuff I don't need, but found it interesting or something novel about it. And at that price, you end up picking a lot more than you came to Daiso for. But there are a few items of merit... like dress ties. Can go wrong with these at a dollar fifty... There is quite a crowd in the place. These people are much like me, going around, having a look, and finally putting an item in the basket because it's something that would make life simpler or better. Or simply because it's a bargain at a dollar fifty! There are a few items above the dollar fifty mark. But the cashiers will ask you about these items on checkout. Nice of them to remind me... The place is reasonably large. And the stock ranges from everything you can think of under the sun. Even food and beverage. You can spend an easy hour just looking around. The staff are nice and helpful. Checkout will ask you if you need bags, or if the item you picked was over the dollar fifty mark. I asked a few staff members where an item would be, and they do know an item's location. And that's no joke with the "million" items they have in store. I love this place. I love this store! Daiso has everything! It's very similar to the 99 cent store in the way that not everything is $1.50. Some items are otherwise marked. Daiso had cute Disney merchandise such as keychains, cups, and sometimes ladles with Mickey ears at the end. They have lots of toys (squirters, small dolls, small doll clothes, lego-like toys) here too. There are school supplies, pet supplies (leases, hats), gardening supplies, and kitchen supplies. They have a couple of snack isles with Pocky, rolls, cookies, etc. They also have make up and bathroom supplies. Sometimes they will have pillows and they are super soft! We were at Daiso Japan's Grand Opening at Delta Shores! So happy that the area is receiving multicultural shops and something different instead of all the normal overdone stuff. Daiso has the perfect store foot print, not too big or small. They have a huge variety of items here! The store is clean, the workers are friendly, the cashier line moves fast, and everything is priced lower than most would expect to pay for. Where do I begin? This store is more spacious than most other Daiso stores and the products they offer vary widely, from household items such as kitchen storage to garden equipment. Daiso is basically a "dollar" store, which is very popular in Japan. I remember the first week I moved into my apartment in Japan, and I pretty much bought everything (i.e. cups, towels) I needed from Daiso. Depending on which products you buy, some things can last forever. I have some glass containers (from Daiso) I use to store my lunches that have lasted for 3 years, and have no wear and tear. Out of all the Daiso's in Sacramento, this place offers the most variety of products (probably because it is the most spacious). It's a great place to browse, if you're into that. I don't live near by, but every once in awhile I have to make a trip to daiso because they have so much to offer!! I'm a huge fan of the chain and this particular store is extraordinary. This was my second visit during the pandemic, and the workers are really taking precaution. The store has a like outside to keep the store under capacity and everyone is required to wear masks. I even saw some workers wearing gloves! Their products remain the same, lots of this and that. I love that they always have seasonal decor and plenty of options. This is one of the bigger locations so I always walk out with a bag of things I came for and a lot I just wanted. Lol, today I picked up plenty of party decor. It's always nice to have happy birthday banner and candles on hand. I also got some kitchen gadgets that I can't wait to use! Daiso! I'm so glad Sacramento has 2 Daiso locations so far. We need more for sure! They are located at delta shores plaza next to Ross and Bath & Body. Daiso is a Japanese "dollar" store. Most things are $1.50. Other things $1, $2, $3 and so forth. Be sure to look at the labels and the converter chart for the exact price. If not marked, it's $1.50. Came here on Saturday and there was a long line. They are limiting the amount of people inside the store due to safety protocols. I waited for around 15 minutes so it wasn't too bad of a wait. While inside the store, staffs and customers were wearing masks and social distancing from each other. They offer many items. Kitchenware, bakeware, office supplies, utensils, gardening stuff, snacks, drinks, storage container, gift bags/boxes, candies and tons more. I always come out of the store with more things than expected lol. Staffs were friendly and helpful. You are allowed to bring in your own bag but will need to bag your own items. This Daiso at Delta Shores Shopping Center is not very big compared with some bigger Daiso store. Some of the items are not available in this store! I am there many times and the store seems to get better and better since they are first open. They have little more items in the store, but less than those big Daiso stores due to the size of this store. The bad thing is some items I saw in the San Fransico Bay Area Daiso store and wanted to purchase are not carry by this store! The store is very clean and most of the items are $1.50 each. Some items have the Japanese price tags on it. The current price is ¥100 to $1.50 (so if the price tag is ¥200, it means $3.00). The items without a price are $1.50 each. The worker there is very nice and working hard. They know all the items located in the store. The parking lot is big and very busy at the weekend. Whoa. Daiso takes the super cheap shopping experience to a whole new level. A Japanese level, that is. They have all those stereotypical little knick knacks many of us associate with Japanese pop culture at this point (i.e., lots of Hello Kitty and Mickey Mouse related items), but they also have a ton of more practical stuff that is unique to their store. That latter reason is what would keep me coming in to see their latest offerings. We stopped in while exploring the newish Delta Shore Shopping Center. I'd heard of Daiso before, but never experienced it for myself. The store was very neat and tidy, well-organized and fairly easy to navigate. I didn't come in looking for anything in particular, but I left with a unique motorboat toy for my son, some headphones I've never seen before and some plastic containers for the kitchen. There were some other things I never expected like camping supplements and desk organizers that I don't need now but will certainly return for. It's all cheap, too. Prices range from a buck or two to three or four dollars at most. That's good for the wallet. Be careful though, it adds up! read more

I always go to this place before I head home. I have stock up on all the new stuff they get in. It's like a dollar store but better. Alot of stuff is Japan made. Way too much stuff to look at. The people that work there are very helpful and friendly. I only wish it was in my area. I would go there more often then normal. Very clean and organized shop. read more

Lots of parking. No hand sanitizer at the door, but some at the checkout counters. Clean interior. Pretty crowded, the aisles aren't very wide so that doesn't help. They're no longer regulating how many people can be in the store at any time, so expect to bump shoulders with other customers if you go on a weekend. There's always a long line, even with 2-3 cashiers. It's fun to walk around and see all the products they carry. I'd say most things are a good deal, but maybe not the snacks. Even after the price hike, it doesn't seem like they get new items. The Sanrio and BTS-themed items are still around. The plushies are cute. Not really somewhere you'd go every week, maybe once in a while because there's not much visible change to the inventory. read more

Two stars on Yelp translates to "could've done better," which is exactly how I feel about my last visit to Daiso at Delta Shores. I think the staff could've done better with managing the number of customers in the store. It was apparent they were short staffed because the cashier closest to the door was also the one letting people in the store (rather than having a designated staff stationed at the door to keep track of the number of customers and manage the long line). The sign on the door clearly states that the maximum capacity is 24 people. While we were in line we could see everyone in the store (entire store front is floor to ceiling windows) and at no time, while we waited outside and after we were finally let in, were there 24 people, and that's including staff. Yup, we had a lot of time standing around in the cold to count the number of bodies. I don't fault the staff because they were friendly and polite and doing their best to multi-task. This is clearly a management issue. They lost a few customers who left the line after so many minutes. I would've left also, but I had already invested so much time in line that I was determined to wait it out! Can't say that it was worth it though. Please have a designated staff at the door and restock the Hello Kitty items!!!! read more

Daiso is one of my favorites "dollar store" since I lived in Japan. I like the quality of the products, how organized the shelves are and how clean they keep the store. You can find a huge variety of products, if you never went to a Daiso before you should. Just be alert even if is a "dollar store" numbers can add fast. read more

I love this store! It's like an upgraded / hybrid dollar store. Probably half the stuff is worthless poorly made crap, but in the other half of the stores are some real treasures. Much of the reason that is possible is they aren't locked into a simple one dollar price. I would rank this location 2nd out of the three sacramento locations (galleria Roseville and natomas) This place is spacious and also has a very good variety if you come at certain times. In summary, it's a store where you can get things you need or just want but have a little fun as well without breaking the bank. This store taps into my inner six year old and honestly had Daiso existed when I grew up I would have spent all my allowance here and at my fave TOYS 'r' US! As an adult, Daiso lacks the existential despair of a US dollar store where I invariably feel depressed and everything seems like it's waiting to go straight to the Goodwill donation pile from my shopping cart. As a baseline, everything at Daiso is $1.50 (higher prices are marked!). This location is convenient, but they seem to run out of things a lot and have less selection/merchandise, unlike the Daiso in Japantown in SF. That being said, I love this store's convenience, including a free parking lot and less fear of SF smash and grab through your car windows. Great to stop in for organizing bins, office supplies, and bits and bobs that are surprising, fun, cute, and low cost! I love this chain's hair clips, dishware, office supplies, and Japanese festival ware (ie cherry blossom items), and gift wrap accessories. Always fun, always efficient. Compared to the other Daiso locations I've been to, this one is pretty small, but it is well stocked and organized. Their variety of snacks is really awesome and I was able to find everything I was looking for and more. All the other areas were just okay. I was looking for make up bushes which I've gotten at the Daiso in Natomas before, but they didn't have it here. I was also looking for some toiletries which they didn't have but did score on some great square cotton pads. They have cute kitchen items like bowls and cups, but not as much selection as Natomas. My favorite Daiso location within the Sacramento area! Beats the Natomas and Roseville locations. This Daiso is pretty large and contains much more variety in terms of their stock. They sell things in the realm of skincare, office supplies, stationery, snacks and drinks, storage supplies, and so much more! I do wish that their food and snack section was larger and contained more variety, however. I wish they would sell more chips and ramen options, since their current stock is quite limited. It's always fun to walk around Daiso and find things you didn't you know you needed or wanted. With this, be wary that you may walk out with random purchases! Aside from this, I've noticed that their prices have increased a little bit. I saw a lot of items over $1.50. It is well stocked with snacks, goodies for your home, office, garden, etc. The prices are just right. You won't be spending more than $15 for an item and most of there things are just $1.50. I'm so happy that Daiso opened up at Delta Shores shopping center! One of my favorite discount stores! Daiso is the Japanese version of a dollar store. Most of the items cost $1.50, and other items are listed for slightly more (usually under $5). The items are made with good quality, and I'm always happy with my purchases here. Whenever I come to Daiso, I feel like a kid in an amazing toy store. You'd catch me squealing at all of the cute items and fantastic deals. Lol. For example, I found some antique looking hair clips that match one of my rings- so I had to get them. I also found a cute sweater for my rescue dog. You can find all sorts of stuff here, just like your regular Dollar Tree or 99 Cents Store (but cuter and better quality)! My favorite sections are the: office supplies area, pet area, garden area, and cooking spot. I found really cool baking/chocolate molds for only $1.50 each! You can't find that at Dollar Tree, 99 Cents Store, or Amazon for that quality or price. The workers here are diligent and friendly. The store is also very clean. I'll definitely come here again! What is Daiso?? We've passed it several times in Delta Shores during construction. My guess was a shoe store. Nope! It's a Japanese Based discount store! This is the Asian version of a dollar store.... plus shipping and handling! The majority of store consists of items priced at $1.50. I did see a few items at the $5 price point. It's hard to describe all that this store has for sale, it's a mixed bag of items for sure! I'm glad to see something different in Delta Shores! Customer service was great! Located in a massive outdoor plaza type of shopping mall with moderately good parking, this place has very affordable things from kitchenware to cleaning supplies to office supplies to pails to makeup to earpicks, and so on. Service was good too. Weekends can be really busy though since Daiso is so popular. read more

Not a bad place. I was so excited when this opened, after spending years of driving up to Sacramento to go to the one at the Promenade. It felt like construction took forever though. There are plenty of employees around, and the store is well kept and organized. The employees are nice, and informative. Whenever they ring up an item that's more than $1.50, they tell you, and ask if it's okay. Love shopping here. My number one place for school supplies and travel items. Things to know: 1) the parking lot is confusing. 2) if you have at&t, there's no cell service 3) they don't take bills over $100. 4) no public bathrooms. 5) they don't take bills of more than $100, or ApplePay. 6) Bags are 20¢. read more

Pretty good. A new-ish dolla fitty store (it ain't a dollar store if most everything isn't a dolla). We had heard that it was opening and came a couple weeks after it opened in early August. It's big, bright, beautiful and filled with innovative junk, thingamajigs and tons of nik nak patty wacks. I haven't found anything we can't live without so I only brought my kids in to look around and got them each a solar bobble head. It was very crowded and continues to be most weekends (from what I've heard or read) so I have to keep a very close eye on my kiddos which makes for a non relaxing shopping/exploring experience so until I get a chance to come solo, or just with hubby, I don't think I'll stop by again. read more
