10-23-25 Daiso whisks and other kitchen gear
    Carla C.

So many tschachkes, wow. Sensory overload. I had a list for two items. Found one, but didn't buy whisk. Didn't find replacement candle cups, understandable since it's a specialty item. Staff were helpful directing me around the store.

Please open a retail store in South Reno, Nevada!! I would be the best customer... I love the one in Daly City.. But this is one is convenient.. I kind of went over shopping.. Tons of stuff to take back home...

If you're into Japanese stuff, this might be a fun store for you. It kind of reminds me a Dollar Tree but MUCH neater and cleaner. They have a variety of items from food and drinks to plates and bowls, office items and stationary, cleaning supplies and toys. It's not a huge shop but they make the most of their space with LOTS of items to look at. I thought the prices were reasonable and I would definitely return if I was shopping at Delta Shores.

The Delta shores Daiso is the biggest one I have been to. They have a big spot with alot to offer. Parking is a breeze in the parking lot. They have so.much stuff from A to Z it would be a list for days to write. So for a few random things we found and saw were kids school supplies, games, toys, cleaning products and tools neededto clean a house, even drain screens for the sink or shower, chopsticks and stuff related to it. Candy of course. Let your imagination expand and they probably have it. We spent along time wandering aground and did need help finding a few things since they weren't in their original spot and the employees helped out and even tried finding stuff for the kids. The stuff is inexpensive at most. I think most stuff starts at 1.50 and goes up slightly after that.

Waiting in line outside as store can only accommodate 27 customers at a time per COVID-19.

Came on a Monday afternoon and love that the staffs are wearing mask & gloves, which makes me appreciate that they are prioritizing health & safety! Also, in respect to that, be prepared to wait about 30 minutes outside as their sign allows a capacity of 27 customers at a time. Of all the Daiso stores I've been to, this is one of the smaller ones to me. It is conveniently located in big shopping areas (off I-5 N near Elk Grove) along with many other stores such as Panda Express, Walmart, In-N-Out burgers, Ross, etc., to name a few, and plenty of parking. Nonetheless, it is always nice to see Daiso expanding its business furthermore into the Central Valley areas & all over CA (not just confined to Bay Areas or bigger cities only). Kudos to you Daiso!!!

! This little spot has all the goodies and Japanese fan favorites. I feel like I'm In a 7-11 in Tokyo, they have a little bit of everything , candy, toys, stationary, come here and check it out you won't be disappointed came in again on 9/5/2022 had such a nice time going through the selection, everything here is so awesome, I want to buy as much as possible. This is the kind of store I could spend all day in, I wish it was much larger :)

    Just the Daiso sign facade...

This is a place to shop for "little somethings" that cost you US$1.50 per item. I normally try to avoid going here because I'll end up picking stuff I don't need, but found it interesting or something novel about it. And at that price, you end up picking a lot more than you came to Daiso for. But there are a few items of merit... like dress ties. Can go wrong with these at a dollar fifty... There is quite a crowd in the place. These people are much like me, going around, having a look, and finally putting an item in the basket because it's something that would make life simpler or better. Or simply because it's a bargain at a dollar fifty! There are a few items above the dollar fifty mark. But the cashiers will ask you about these items on checkout. Nice of them to remind me... The place is reasonably large. And the stock ranges from everything you can think of under the sun. Even food and beverage. You can spend an easy hour just looking around. The staff are nice and helpful. Checkout will ask you if you need bags, or if the item you picked was over the dollar fifty mark. I asked a few staff members where an item would be, and they do know an item's location. And that's no joke with the "million" items they have in store. I love this place. No public restrooms through...

    I bought a lot of journals/notebooks here

I love this store! Daiso has everything! It's very similar to the 99 cent store in the way that not everything is $1.50. Some items are otherwise marked. Daiso had cute Disney merchandise such as keychains, cups, and sometimes ladles with Mickey ears at the end. They have lots of toys (squirters, small dolls, small doll clothes, lego-like toys) here too. There are school supplies, pet supplies (leases, hats), gardening supplies, and kitchen supplies. They have a couple of snack isles with Pocky, rolls, cookies, etc. They also have make up and bathroom supplies. Sometimes they will have pillows and they are super soft! Anything you're looking for, Daiso probably has it.

We were at Daiso Japan's Grand Opening at Delta Shores! So happy that the area is receiving multicultural shops and something different instead of all the normal overdone stuff. Daiso has the perfect store foot print, not too big or small. They have a huge variety of items here! The store is clean, the workers are friendly, the cashier line moves fast, and everything is priced lower than most would expect to pay for. I just realized I've never said that about any stores before... Daiso is excellent! Here's a list of some items they have and they're not just cheap in quality either. If you've never been to one, you gotta go at least once but be careful, the small priced items add up fast! I like Daiso because I can find a lot of cute little things there which I cannot find at another store. This Daiso at Delta Shores Shopping Center is not very big compared with some bigger Daiso store. Some of the items are not available in this store! I am there many times and the store seems to get better and better since they are first open. They have little more items in the store, but less than those big Daiso stores due to the size of this store. The bad thing is some items I saw in the San Fransico Bay Area Daiso store and wanted to purchase are not carry by this store! The store is very clean and most of the items are $1.50 each. Some items have the Japanese price tags on it. The current price is ¥100 to $1.50 (so if the price tag is ¥200, it means $3.00). The items without a price are $1.50 each. The worker there is very nice and working hard. They know all the items located in the store. The parking lot is big and very busy at the weekend. You will get parking, but not very close to the store most of the time.

Adj: Comprehensive and Convenient…read more Ahh, Delta Shores, Delta Shores, how you've grown. As long time Sacramentans, we keep up w/development news and I recall when my hubby first told me about this huge shopping complex coming up between Elk Grove and Land Park off I-5. It was just empty land for so long, but suddenly, there were going to be lots of homes getting built here and traffic might get real heavy, but first infrastructure has to come up first and a shopping complex, the biggest anchor of which was going to be a Walmart and also RC Willey, the furniture home store. This was back in 2018 and now, just w/a blink of an eye, it's been here over 7 years! We come here quite a lot as it's conveniently located for us and there's a lot of a little bit of everything here. From coffee and some sweet treats at Panera or Starbucks, to getting a haircut at Great Clips, to getting groceries and essentials at the Super Walmart, to arts and crafts supplies at Hobby Lobby, we really could and sometimes do spend several hours here. Then there's the many clothing stores from Ross to Old Navy to the boutique stores, everyone's style can be found at Delta Shores. I personally enjoy browsing Daiso b/c there's so many cute things here and the knick knack patty whacks here are often really useful by design in Japan even if they're made in China quality, but great value and affordable prices, lol... We enjoy coming to the theatre here too, to catch a (usually kids) movie, but occasionally a date night movie too. The dining choices here are endless from fast food In-N-Out, Habit Burgers, or Sonic for burgers, or Chipotle for a quick but "fancier" burrito or Panda Express for Chinese food, to more sit-down places like Koshi Ramen and Firehouse Crawfish, we've always found something we like so that we're not having the same cuisine over and over. We like the sweet treat places here too for a healthier drink at Jamba Juice or a mochi donut at Happy Mochi or a boba drink at Tastea. After that you can walk off your meal or dessert at RC Willey or Floor & Decor In short, Delta Shores has so much to offer b/c of how it's just massive and it houses so many different kinds of shopping, dining, desserts, coffee shops, and even practical services like a dentist office with multiple specialties and also other services like internet and mobile w/the Xfinity store or T-mobile and you can even mail your packages at a UPS store. They even hold festivals every semi-annually or so for the community to draw more shoppers and allow their stores to display their goods and services. Overall, this is a comprehensive shopping plaza and it provides lots of products and providers in one convenient location.

I remember when Delta Shores Shopping Center was still being built. I'd see it come up slowly (and…read morethen quickly) as I drove from Elk Grove to work. It's been quite a few years and it's now an established shopping hub in the greater Sac area, but especially for those who live along the I-5 corridor between Elk Grove/Stockton and downtown Sac. We come here quite often since it's got a little bit of everything we need. From the Walmart Superstore where we can really find most things we need for our household, to various eateries, to an occasional movie a theatre, to treats at candy (See's), cookies (Crumbl) and ice cream (Cold Stone's) shops, etc., we really can spend a whole day here. Our family likes to come for their seasonal fairs. They're fun for my kids and there's a lot going on w/booths to play games and samples to try, and vendors give out coupons so we can try out new stores that just opened up. The Delta Shore staff really put on pretty good events w/these fairs to drum up business for their tenants and the vendors who do come out and set up booths are friendly and hardworking b/c it's a long day for them. 1-star off b/c the parking can get busy/hard to find a spot in certain popular areas and some people drive aggressively and pedestrians really have to watch to not get run over, cars too, no one wants fender benders. Patience, people, patience. During covid, there was a rash of car break-in's too, but I think they've improved their security now, so I've not heard or seen more incidents. All in all, we're glad this is a conveniently located larger shopping plaza where we can get a lot of grown up business taken care of (auto at Walmart, internet stuff at Xfinity, etc.), but still have some nice meals and a treat once in awhile w/o breaking the bank or widening the waistline.

Gardening dept could be bigger. They're currently undergoing a big remodel and the whole front entrance (the whole front side in fact) is closed off pretty much, so we decided to park along the north side of the store and walk through the auto center to get into the store. Thankfully, the auto center was still open. The prices for arts and crafts supplies have gone up, like everywhere else, but there's still plenty of good items for reasonable prices and most items have only gone up a dollar or two which is still pretty reasonable post-Covid, and with inflation at an all time high. As for the rest of the store, everything looks pretty organized and there's inventory of pretty much anything you could be looking for, we usually just go to the same few sections of the store: Arts/Crafts, Auto, Gardening Center, Stationery, and sometimes the Grocery Dept. although we do not mainly shop here for our food (we go elsewhere). Unfortunately, the latest time I used the bathroom here, the condition has really gone down in cleanliness and overall upkeep. I have to remember not to have to use their restrooms here, lol... Let's see if they remodel their bathrooms and what other improvements they make w/this whole big O' updating they're doing to the front side of the store. Being able to order what I need, pull up, and have everything loaded into the car is such a time saver, especially on busy weeks. Inside the store, they generally have what I'm looking for, which I appreciate when I do need to run in quickly. The one area that could definitely use improvement is the restrooms near the front of the store -- they tend to need better upkeep. If you do need to use one, the bathrooms toward the back are usually a better option. Overall though, for convenience, selection, and reliable curbside service, this location has worked really well for me.

I was very disappointed. Online they have a larger variety. I saw a couple of pink ones that I liked. They even had some light blue ones with polar bears on them. The Chanukah ones even looked great. The sales lady was polite and offered to order them online for me so I could save on shipping. I thought of that, but I don't know what size I am and didn't want to hassle with having to return or exchange them. Plus their location isn't near my house, so returning it would require a drive all the way down the Delta Shores, deal with parking ect. Not worth it at this time of my life. They did have a nice collection of cute fuzzy socks. Next we looked at jeans. They have several styles, but not the color I wanted or the length From what I could see they don't offer short, or ankle length. Thus unfortunately I didn't get any jeans either. I guess we're off to Macy's to see if they have their pajamas in stock or if it's only on line there too. It may be the going trend, shop online. I haven't come in to browse and shop for a year or so since Hobby Lobby isn't usually my cup of tea type of place, but I was surprised that they've expanded (or I did not notice before) their games, puzzles, and books selections. In particular, I like board and card games and there was a good selection of games and it was nice to hold in hand and read descriptions to buy tangibly instead of online. They even have some clothing items like they had some winter beanies and hats on clearance from Christmas time. Dabbling in drawing occasionally, it was nice to see a big variety of drawing and painting pads to choose from. What surprised me was that some (maybe all?) of them were Made in Italy, which hopefully means better quality. The rest of Hobby Lobby seems to be made in China, so those paper pads seem a good deal in comparison. Another area that was a pleasant surprise were toys on sale here, again maybe it's b/c I didn't notice before, but there's a bunch of different little kids toys and stuffed animals and these squishy animal things my kids tell me about that are all on sale here even though this is supposed to be like an arts and crafts store? Maybe stuffed toys are "hobbies"? Either way, I found it convenient that I can get some gifts for little kids in my life (friends' kids, or my kids' friends, or nieces and nephews) here instead of having to go into a toy store which I try to avoid, especially now that my kids are older. All in all, Hobby Lobby is better than I remember the last I visited. I also saw many different sizes and versions of bibles and other inspiration books for sale, and tons of decor for home and the office.
