I would say a solid 3.5 stars that would definitely fluctuate between 3 and 4 stars depending on which days you go in. The staff is really nice, though there aren't a ton of them and they kind of let you do your thing. The concept is that they receive a bunch of overstock and out of season items from places like Target and Amazon and through the week the prices go from $6 down to $0.25 every item is the same price at the same time. You have to dig through big bins with a variety of items and a lot of boxes that may or may not have labels. You'll find people have opened a lot of them to see what's inside. The staff suggested downloading some apps to scan the barcodes and scan them to see what they are and what retail price would be. Google is definitely your friend too to see what regular prices may be. There is A LOT of junk- we went in on a $6 day and during the week people will buy the items they deem are worth the daily price. If you're a crafter, decorator or just like a treasure hunt this could be a great place to come but you may want to try the cheaper days. There are a lot of people touching these items throughout the day so wash your hands and keep them away from your face or food until you do- we are still in a post COVID world. We did find an amazing buy- doggy poop bags in a bulk pack that we got for $6 plus tax that would have been $96 if we bought each pack individually from Amazon. A very good find! They do have a membership club that will get certain people in first on their cheaper days and from what we heard a lot of resellers will stock up here. If you're up for an adventure and digging through random boxes of random items this could be fun for you and you never know what you'll find!

This store popped up last week without much fanfare- one day it was a seemingly empty building on the busy Arden Way and the next day there is a sign and mannequins in the window. Falling Prices brings you FALLING PRICES- CLOTHING! The clothes are sorted by men, women, children. There is a small section for shoes at this time. Each item has a different colored security tag on it and the tag's color represents the price as displayed on a chart on the wall. Do they change the color tag price as time goes on? I'm not sure. I went through the racks briefly on opening day just to see what they had. Anything I was sort of interested in had the more expensive Blue or Purple tag. The quality of the clothes were a hit and miss but I do think it's worth a try if you are interested in finding something unique or are in hunt of a great bargain

DEFINITELY NOT FOR THE ANXIOUS PERSON! HOLY COW Parking lot fills up FAST! Interesting idea here... several bins that you dig thru, not organized WHAT-SO-EVER If you dont mind being elbow to elbow with people & getting hit by shopping carts - all in the name of finding a good deal... then this is the place for you!

Wow this place was rude right off the bat. Went it on a Friday at 4:25, "WERE CLOSED BYE" got kicked out as a family walked in right in front of us (4ppl)and they were greeted with a welcome. Not sure what that was about looked at the store hours online it said open till 5 and sign says 5 as well? But then on the door it says something else? What amazing service. Seriously? I loved this place now I don't.

The awful costumer service people who worked the night Nov 6 2020. Not calling everyone out. That wouldn't be fair

I know beggars can't be choosers....but this store is awful. Everything is open and broken. I wouldn't even pay $1 for this garbage.

This place is good to go to get gifts at low cost. Sometimes you find some good bargins, best days to go is Saturday or Tuesdays.

This is a fun place to pick up some cheap items. The staff changes frequently but are pretty nice.

From my experience, they seem to have a variety of major retailers such as target and amazon which they get stock from.

Out of the various thrift stores in Sacramento and the surrounding areas, "Noah's Ark Thrift &…read moreGift" has got to be one of the cleanest places I have been to. Located directly on Watt Ave (and just south of Whitney Ave) in the Arden-Arcade neighborhood of Sacramento, this place has been operating since mid-2024. Prior to them vacating this space, this was once a furniture store with other various businesses before that including a dollar store and video game store. Hopefully Noah's Ark will stick around for quite awhile. A little bit of backstory about this company; the money and revenue that is generated here helps support the ministry in Ukraine which helps families of the soldiers that have had to serve the frontlines. This includes fallen heroes as well as soldiers who have had to endure losing limbs that have to face very intense rehabilitation after their service in the Ukrainian military. To me, this is a huge impact when I know my money is going towards a very positive cause. The exterior parking lot has more than enough space as the two separate times I have been here, finding a spot to park has been a breeze. There are also several other small businesses that share this parking lot. As for the thrift store itself, the place is absolutely clean to a tee. Upon entry, I was greeted by the young man behind the counter. Store hours are very generous as they are open for business Monday-Thursday from 10am-6pm and Friday-Saturday from 9am-7pm while being closed every Sunday. As for the inside of this place, everything is laid out exceptionally well. You will find a huge assortment of glasses, kitchenware, vintage and near-new clothing/apparel, jewelry, books/CD's/DVD's, solid wood furniture, and much more, all in very excellent condition. The cleanliness and organization of Noah's Ark really shows how much care and thought they put into their business. During both my visits, I found a name-brand shirt and some very nice kitchen items that looked nearly brand new and at reasonable prices. With generous hours, friendly service, and a nice variety of great finds, I am giving "Noah's Ark Thrift & Gift" a unanimous five-star rating.
