This store was absolutely filthy and the customer service was just as bad. If employees don't want to socialize or even show basic courtesy, maybe they should step back and focus on stocking shelves instead of being rude to customers. Customer service here is definitely lacking--guess the area says it all. And if you're going to talk about customers, at least make sure they've fully left the store before running your mouth. Plenty of parking in the shared lot. Floors could use a sweep near the entrance but are mostly clear of trash. Hand sanitizer dispenser by the entrance. Very few staff, only one checkout line. Not all staff wear masks. Not super busy in the late afternoon on a weekend. The aisles are a bit messy, but it's not the worst I've seen. read more

The location is great and easy to get to. It is about half a mile from I-5. The parking lot is big and plenty of space. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is pretty clean and well stocked. This Dollar Tree, like most Dollar Tree stores, has current holiday items, balloons, party supplies, toys, stationary section, medical, snack and soda aisle and more. Right now they have potting dirt. I was surprised that they carried it. Their overall products are great too. I am glad that I can save money and get what I need. I bought allergy medicine, flu medicine, a large pink plastic basket (I am using it for my little one's dirty clothes, band aids and a notebook. I recommend this store. read more

Dollar Tree...everything is a $1 or less! It's dollar tree, I'm not expecting great quality things, but there's some cool random $1 finds that you can purchase here for less rather than going to Target, Walmart, or wherever. I only stop by here once in a while for envelopes, gift bags, and random stuff or whatever catches my attention. This Dollar Tree is located way in the back corner of the shopping center, so it's kind of sketch, but there's plenty of parking spaces. I came in and was surprised there was someone that greeted me, so that was nice, and the cashier was friendly. This store is sort of clean and organized too. I'm really cool with this here $$ tree store, sometime they don't always have what I want. They do run out of the popular items fast sometimes. Right now unfortunately the fridge is on the fringe and they don't have the burritos that the hubby like. Actually I think those burritos are new at this store(the long burritos). At least they're new to me! Never seen them here before. I also notice that they have a few other new items (interesting)! The staff here at this store is pretty cool and consistent, meaning not a fast employee turn over (that says a lot about a business and management). They are usually very professional whenever there are any issues that come up. So I've seen! They do get really busy here at this particular store and I do like that the manager here always have back-up to open another register when they do get busy, even if its her that will come out and help. A lot of the other $$ tree stores don't open another register. And I hate being at a store with only two lines open and the store is crowded. My time is Valuable too! IJS. One thing I'm finding out about all of these $$ stores is if you see something that you use a lot, get it while they have it or should I say get as many as you can because some items they sale they only have one time or like I said sale out fast. I don't know what it is, but I get happy in this store by myself and when my husband is with me its twice as bad. He gets happier than I do! The plan this evening was to grab a couple of items and look what happened. It never fails, this store gets a whole of your wallet and then you asking yourself what didn't I get or what just happened to my money? Extremely disappointed in witnessing the manager, Ashely, treat customers and her staff with such disrespect. Her demeanor was as if everyone is beneath her. I love the dollar tree and shop there often. She was working at the register and truly lacks customer service. I will tell you Ashley, if you're not happy with what you do, you shouldn't be there. But with your attitude, I wouldn't think you deserve much of any CS job. Maybe you should apply somewhere like loaves and fishes so you can humble yourself. However, on other occasions, I've experienced very friendly customer service by Angela and another fella that works there (younger white male with longish hair). I tried to exchange some UNOPENED bags of lollipops. TOM says I couldn't return FOOD because it's a health issue. I'm pretty sure I've return unopened things like bags of unopened candy. I left annoyed. Checked their website policy which said NOTHING about food items: What is Dollar Tree's merchandise return policy? Most of the time it's kind of messy, but I've never been disappointed when I need the random party decoration, wrapping paper, or go on the occasional $1 candy binge. Located by a Bel-Air and Rite-Aid, tons of parking. The area is a little sketchy. Juuuust a little. Verdict: Acceptable. read more

After getting off work and picking up my son from daycare went to dollar tree to purchase groceries. Before the groceries were even rung up by the clerk. Two blk females who I don't, one grab my son to give him an dollar. I grab my son and told that person no. Then the blk female then stated he can do that... he can say no and then stated... why would u turn down an dollar that's dumb.... especially on government assistance... went to drop off groceries and get some juice for my son. The worst experience ever!!! This use to be my go to place for party supplies, goody bag, and projects but recently I have received nothing but the worst customer service at the Dollar Tree!!! Today I waited patiently inline for my turn when I was assisted the very unfriendly clerk who behaved as though it was nap time was running that scanner like it was Christmas . When he was finally through he gave me my receipt didn't thank me for my visit and walked to another register where he began to eat his pizza . As I was verifying my Receipt I noticed that he overcharged me.. it was three dollars not much but at this point it was the principal of the matter and the fact that he wasn't paying attention during my transaction means he was probably not paying attention when scanning other customer items which also means he more than likely has been overcharging customers all day . This is illegal and if u do the math $3 here and there surely adds up. Makes me wonder if this is how this store is training their employees because the response I received when bringing it to their attention was borderline unprofessional as well as disrespectful.. he stated he was going on break and could not correct it and that I would have to get back in line ! ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? It's not as though there were only two people in line that was now wrapped down the isle . When I asked for his manager she was standing there and heard the whole situation and instead of doing the right thing she made a mockery of my concern and both she and her inept clerk laughed as they both continued to eat their pizza again very unprofessional. The supervisor provided me with her managers name Tom in which I will be contacting and then told me I would have to wait until she was done with her lunch to help me. At the end of it all I received a refund of the overpayment as well as called their Corporate Headquarter while I patiently waited for her to eat her lunch and left a detailed message with my concerns and the unprofessional staff they have working at their store's. I am also going to submitting an investigation with the business licensing board, the Better Business, and the IRS for a possible store audit. If they tried to steal from one customer I can only imagine how many more they have done this to. Needless to say.. I rarely come here, but when I do it's for gift bags and tissue paper. They have a pretty good selection of gift wrapping paper, gift bags, balloons, cards, and other party decor. It's cheap and gets the job done. read more

I am a huge of fan of the dollar store so many helpful items for a great price but this particular one is not one I will continue shopping at I was discriminated against because I am a black single mother I was accused of stealing wipes that I had purchase from the previous week as I tried to explain this to the Caucasian early thirties looking gentlemen he tried to grab my basket and tell me to leave I was on my way to the register to pay for the rest of my items. before I did so I stopped to pull out a wipe for my baby's face that was full of cheetos, and that is when he accused me of shoving things in my bag I've never had issues at this specific location until now I would not advise anyone to shop there I was so embarrassed read more

I only come here cause it's close to where I live and it's cheap. There are never enough cashiers with a huge line. Especially since the store is always crowded. The store is usually a mess and unorganized. And the staff could be friendlier. I've been ring up where the cashier does say a word to me except to tell me what I owe. No hi nothing. I think they need more training in the customer service aspect of their job. And I was being generous with the 2 stars. read more

This is the only dollar store nearby my house and well it's alright. It's kind of ghetto inside due to the people in the area. you can catch it when it's not a packed. The only problem is when it's packed there are only 2 registers open and it takes forever. I only go here if i need something for an art project or so that may be cheap there. read more

I've been coming to this location for about 2 years since moving to the Pocket area. I must say I expected better, but whatever, it's Dollar Tree. You definitely get what you pay for, including THE STAFF, which are UNPROFESSIONAL. It seems like they hire people who are either on financial assistance, or half way houses, or something, I can't call it, but the selection is pretty OK when it comes to quick items, but the other Dollar Tree on Stockton near Walmart is better in my book! Better employees too, along with a better selection of items, including extra items not included here. The prices of the items in these stores are great, but ugh...the customer service is absolutely horrible. I shop in this store often and the employees are like zombies. They don't smile or give you eye contact, well, they don't give any eye contact to most customers that is. I overheard an employee saying not to give eye contact to certain customers. I wonder why she said that, but anyway, this is a store where you can buy snacks and drinks in bulk. But don't expect friendly service. read more

Poor Customer Service - which is just as important as the merchandise itself. Don't bother going to this Dollar Tree. This is conveniently located right behind WalMart. I usually go to a different DT; however when I saw this one behind WM I thought, ohh, I'll stop in. I have about 125 craft items to buy to make some wreathes and decorations. They had a good selection, I will say that. So I grab an empty cart and start shopping. I'm all excited about picking up everything I want at one place. I have a couple things in my cart and am continuing to shop, looking at what I want for the crafts. This male manager comes up to me and tells me I can't have that cart. I said huh? I can't have a cart? He said, not that one. It is only for people who buy stuff and need to go outside with the cart. He said you can have a cart that does not go outside. I said I would be buying a lot of stuff and would want a cart that will go outside. He said I can't have a cart that goes outside. He starts to take stuff out of my cart to put into another cart - he said my cart was "his" cart. Since I was just starting my shopping trip he had no idea how full my cart was going to be - for about 125 items (multiples of wreath frames, ribbons, mesh, signs, decorations, for Halloween, fall and Christmas wreaths, etc. etc. etc.)- I would certainly want a cart that goes outside. What poor customer service. I left without buying anything - leaving my cart for him to take care of. I'll do like I usually do and place my approximately and at least $125.00 order either online or go to one of the two other DTs near me and pick up my items there. He lost $125 sale that day (maybe he is so busy and prosperous he can afford to loose business like that over poor customer service) - but he has also lost me as a customer permanently. In addition, others of my friends and family and acquaintances will be told this story. I guess he didn't want profit so the profit will go either direct to corporate (free shipping - so it will be jut as inexpensive for me online as it would have been at the store and more convenient) or to the other DTs. Before he told me I could not use "that cart" (which by the way looks exactly like all the other DT carts) I was checking out merchandise and the employees were gossiping about another employee loudly enough to be heard three aisles away and in front of customers. That is not good customer service experience either. So I would say stay away from here - although it is nicely set up - the customer service is poor and rude. There are many other stores (including other DTs) who will provide a pleasant customer service experience which is just as important as the merchandise itself. read more
