The parking lot generally feels a lot less chaotic than some other Costco locations (although, let's be honest, it still depends on the day and time... you're either walking into a full on battlefield or having the smoothest shopping trip ever haha!). I shop here pretty frequently since it's just the two of us, so a lot of my trips are for one or two items rather than giant Costco hauls. I really appreciate that this location has self checkout because it's perfect when I'm just grabbing something quick, which is usually a case of water. That said, the customer service at self checkout has consistently been disappointing. Sometimes you have to press the assistance button, and other times an employee comes over automatically to scan heavier items. Unfortunately, I'd say 9 out of 10 interactions I've had there have felt cold or unfriendly. During my visit today, the employee walked over, silently scanned my case of water, and walked away without saying a single word. No hello, no "have a nice day," nothing. I told her thank you, but the interaction just felt awkward... On another visit, an employee actually snatched my fiancé's membership card right out of his hand instead of simply asking for it. Little interactions like these add up and leave you feeling more like an inconvenience than a customer... I also recently spent quite a while looking for a specific product. After checking everywhere I could think of, I asked an employee for help. She said she could "try" to help, but she was clearly busy pushing a cart somewhere else. She pointed me towards the front of the store and kept going. I ended up asking another employee near the front of the store, who also just directed me back to a general section. Thankfully, after looking around on my own, I eventually found it. I completely understand that employees get busy, but when the store layout changes so often, especially when they have new warehouse sales, it would definitely be nice to get a little more helpful assistance with finding items. I've had much friendlier and more helpful experiences at this location in the past, which is why these recent visits have been disappointing. It's still a clean, well stocked Costco, and I genuinely like shopping here. I just wish the customer service was a little warmer and more helpful because it would easily make this a 5 star location again.

COSTCO @ REDMOND…read more This Costco is located in Redmond, just a couple of minutes away from Redmond Town Center. Every time I come here, I'm impressed by the huge entrance and the unique hilly layout surrounding the warehouse. The parking lot is very large, and the store itself is always well organized and easy to navigate. I love Costco overall. Their deals are incredible, and honestly, coming here every couple of weeks is one of my favorite things to do. It does get extremely busy on the weekends, so if you prefer a less crowded experience, I would recommend visiting on a weekday. That said, if you don't mind the crowds and parking situation, weekend shopping is still worth it. During my latest visit, I picked up Pressed Juicery products that were on sale for only $13, which was a great deal. They also had croissants and plenty of bakery items available. The selection is always excellent, and I appreciate how Costco keeps its product offerings streamlined, making it easier to choose between brands without feeling overwhelmed. The service here is great as well. Employees are helpful, and the checkout process is efficient. Just remember to have your membership card ready since you'll need to scan it both when entering the warehouse and at checkout. Overall, this is a fantastic Costco location that I always enjoy visiting.

Last time I visited, it was near closing time and Carrie told me that I needed to leave the store. After I explained that I needed to walk out an elderly family member she rolled her eyes and sighed with obvious annoyance. I did not say anything. However the next time I visited the store I had a very similar interaction where I was putting away my shopping cart. I guess I moved a cart I wasn't supposed to for whatever reason and Carrie runs over and lets out the loudest groan I've ever heard. I couldn't even believe this happened. I don't understand how some one like this is employed at this store much less a manager. Extremely awful experience, the obvious attitude from a customer service employee is a first for me.

Compared to the Bellevue (Crossroads) location, the Redmond store seems much more organized and has nice bright lighting. While Daiso is not known for high-quality items, it's the perfect place if you're looking for cute and cheap goods! My favorite part of the store is their aisle of stickers and stationary with the most adorable characters. I have to control myself otherwise I'd buy all the sticker sheets even though I don't even have a true need for them! The kid in me also has to browse their Sanrio merchandise each time. They have items for the kitchen, bathroom, office, storage and MUCH more. Their various dishes in the back are beautiful, but I'm not sure how durable they actually are. I've visited a few times so far and have been able to control myself enough not to fill a whole shopping basket. I merely just enjoy strolling down each and every aisle in case I spot something of interest. At checkout, the cashier reminded me that sales are final on all items... no returns or exchanges. When I showed up to pick up the order and it wasn't there panic set in. With the help of the front end lead Joyce, the manager Ashley and Celeste in the deli this team pulled off a miracle. Not only did they help me shop for what was in the store ready to go, Celeste came in from home to put together some of the most wonderful trays and delivered them to Bellevue College for our programs graduation. The students, their friends and family all devoured the amazing food, it was somehow the perfect amount. I'm not sure they fully understand the impact they made on so many people, especially me. Their kidness and generosity is something we should all strive for. Anyway, I just want to say thank you with all my heart.

I pulled into the designated pickup area and stayed in my car the entire time while I worked on placing my order through the app. At no point did I leave my vehicle. Within minutes, an employee came out and gestured at the signage. I acknowledged it with a thumbs up I was aware of where I was. Shortly after, a second employee named Jesse approached and asked me to leave. When I requested to speak with a manager, he told me he was the manager. His name tag, however, read "Assistant Manager." To be clear: I was sitting in my car, in the pickup area, attempting to use QFC's own pickup service. That's exactly what the space is for. Instead of offering any assistance, two employees came out to confront me, and one misrepresented his role when I asked for management. After 18 years of shopping at this location without a single negative experience, this interaction was disappointing. The lack of customer service awareness and the dishonesty about a job title were completely inappropriate. I'll be reaching out to someone above store level about this. QFC still rocks in my eyes. The first impressions of the store mentioned before still are valid. It has a great selection of home decor, kitchen supplies and specialty food items. Particularly international foods that are hard to find elsewhere. The location itself is a lot more convenient as it is closer to my home than the other location, which is a huge plus. However, I knocked a star as it can be hard to determine the current stock of products at the store when checking online. I have made numerous online purchases on the website for store pickup as they offer a discount for this option. However, I have experienced many instances when a product I ordered was unavailable even though the website said it was. Particularly on items where the stock shows that there are a few left. If you order online, just be aware that the store may not have it available, especially if the website says they are close to selling out.

Yup, it takes them 3 hours to fill my order with two items, and one of them is out of stock but they didn't update it on my pickup notification. I went in, waited in line for it. Then when it was my turn, the cashier was gonna help me out but someone else came to line up, so she told me she has to help her first. So I had to wait for her to finish the order first before she could fetch my stuff in the back. When that was done, she went to the back and brought me one of them items. They weren't gonna give me a receipt so I had no clue the other item was out of stock, so I asked her where that is.. then someone else came and she had to help her first of course, so I waited forever for her to go to the back.. and eventually she came back and told me the item was out of stock so they didn't charge for it. I had no notification of that, so I asked for a copy of that piece of paper with the info, then she told me to take a pix. . It's weird how disconnected and inefficient this whole pickup process is. And the fact that I had to keep waiting for other people is highly unacceptable and the whole process took 20 minutes or more .. this is my first time placing an online order, and also the last time.

I wasn't too thrilled about the concoction of smells. Items here are heavily overpriced. Never pay full price. Always wait and use coupons. Online shopping will save you slightly more. I found it funny that one item was 25% off online but in store it was listed as "buy one get one 50% off" which works out to be literally 25% off one---but if you buy it in the store they force you to get two and "technically" spend more money haha. I do like the fact that they carry some items here that other craft stores don't but the pricing can be a bit ridiculous.

Crossroads is sort of a hybrid strip and indoor mall which collectively keep itself going. Crossroads indoor portion is held up by a strong food court, it's "Public Market" with a lot of options - burgers, Mexican, Thai, sushi, Indian, Boba, Korean, Hawaiian and more. On top of that, there are plenty of seats. I'd even go so far to say that the Food Court is the main attraction here and the other stores are secondary, which include Old Navy, Hallmark and other services - Mini Library, information about Bellevue and such. The Mall itself looks kept up and seems to be doing well enough to keep going, so I say that's good. People clearly endorse it. I was here on a weekday afternoon for work. I sat down to take a rest and two separate families walked up with their children and put them in those 'coin-operated riding machines'. Moments before this happened, I asked myself "does anyone use these things anymore?". My question was answered. Crossroads is alive.

Which leads me to believe it's a fairly popular place. I do frequent the Amazon Fresh not necessarily connected directly to the mall but next door. There is a Nordstrom Rack, lakeshore education store, and of course the T&T Supermarket on one end of the mall. So yes, a large selection of shopping choices with various values. Any stores I've visited had good service. Security is always seen circulating the area which makes me happy too. Enjoy life! SYOY!

Factoria is a neighborhood of Bellevue, WA, and has a dedicated shopping mall (Marketplace at…read moreFactoria) that people around the area will go to. Recently, a large Asian grocery opened as one of the outdoor anchors, so we decided to come down. We noticed right away how crowded the outdoor surface lots were, and that there was a line extending outside to get into the grocery store, so we nixed that idea. Instead, we found a less crowded parking area on the other side of the mall. It is a one story indoor mall, with a mix of small businesses, kiosks, and big anchor stores. The layout is definitely from an earlier time, but unlike malls like this in California which are closed or just empty, this one had a fair amount of shoppers milling around. One thing to note are that some of the anchor stores are not connected to the indoor mall at all, instead requiring you to walk outside and through parking to get where you want to go. Like I said, not a great layout.
