I entertain to keep life interesting. I like to get bleach here maybe other tiny household soap or whatnot to keep a Walmart visit away. I'd rather come here than Walmart any day of the week. The collection has recently got much better and the aisles have stuff everytime I visit, so much better than few years ago so that is definitely great. This review missed extra two stars because of issues at cashier everytime. This time I just didn't like how the cashier behaved with my 3 yr old. She presumed he doesn't talk, and then said "oh may be you don't understand english" and then she looked on her side where an indian was working too and said if she can translate I told her right away he understood english and said Hi once but he is a toddler and doesn't prefer to talk to everyone he meets at all places. Nothing wrong with that so please don't presume. Place is a typical dollar tree. A friend and I stopped by on a Saturday to pick up an item and ended up leaving with a quite a few. It was pretty organized and shelves were pretty replenished. Cleaned, organized, well-stocked. I came in the day before Valentine's Day and I was expecting ransacked shelves and a long line. Only one of those was true--the long line with 10 people deep and one sales associate ringing everyone up. By the time I made it up, they had two cashiers, so it went a little faster. They still had plenty of Vday merch, balloons were blown up and ready to be purchased, and they already had St. Patrick's Day and Easter items out, too. They had a great selection of toys and books (they had the PBS Arthur plushies and books!), the school supply section has plenty of goodies, and their craft section was on point! They had crochet needles, yard, their brand of Cricut supplies, and so much more. What a great store! Keep it up! read more

"One Step Above Anarchy." Well it's not quite chaos, but pretty close. Many of the shelves are not fully stocked, and you have to stoop down to figure out where the merchandise is. In some cases the merchandise is actually spread out onto the floor. But on the other hand, I was able to find several of the items I was looking for. The story is quite a bit smaller and less organized than the store in Dublin. Pretty much the same selection of items. They have a single check out line which goes into four different cashiers. On the day I was here, there were two cashiers actually working. And boy were they working hard! I also saw the store manager working extremely hard trying to do what she could with the staff that she had. It looks to me like they are just understaffed. I come here for the cheap Christmas wrapping but tbh I don't shop here for other stuff. The cheap holiday decor and wrapping paper and such is clutch because that stuff ends up in landfills anyways, why bother paying for expensive products. Found so many cool decoration items from here which I have been searching in Fremont stores. Happened to checkout this place, and very happy that I did. But, the usual complaints at times long lines for being checked out or the store being messy with shelves not filled or empty with boxes on the ground or loaded carts in the aisles waiting to be unloaded and put on the shelves. Another potential problem is the parking lot which always seems to be filled probably because of the gym being in the same shopping area. Generally, my experience with this Dollar Tree is acceptable. However, recently, I had an encounter that brought some difficulties at the cashier. I go to the Dollar Tree in Concord and Dublin all the time and use contactless payment without any issue. This store however would NOT allow me to use contactless payment. I know I have used it in the past in Pleasanton but they had to call a manager over and tell me I cannot use it. I haven't been here since COVID so I don't know if they're still refusing customers to use contactless payment. With COVID and this pandemic, I would hope stores are doing their best to limit transmission and contactless payment is an easy fix. I am confident their machines work as I have used it in the past, it's some sort of their policy or anything. So ever since this experience, I have avoided this Dollar Tree unless I had no other choice. read more

I love a good deal. At the dollar store you can find everything you could need and want. Dollar Tree, well its not like your average dollar store (i.e. 99 cents only store). Its clean, well stocked and organized. This location in particular is my fave! Your mind will explode when you enter.. its like holy shizers mcnizers this is a dollar!? and that is a dollar!? and this!? and that?! I usually come here when I plan an event. They have an impressive variety of disposable color coordinating plastic and paper utensils/plates. Will definately wow your guests. Most things in here are of good quality.. and while your there, browse around and save yourself a trip (and some money) and pick up things you meant to get elsewhere. This dollar tree is extremely racist and lazy. There was an employee that overcharged, and when I spoke up about it she dumped all my stuff out my bag and sighed angrily. She called the manager, the manager was very nice and scanned my items properly. Then when i was getting my items rescanned, another customer a white woman, began to say racist comments. The worst Dollar Tree i've ever been too. It's crowded, only one register open every day (lines to the back of the store) and absolutely no selection. Everything is always out of stock. Also, their helium for balloons is "ALWAYS OUT". Don't come here expecting to get balloons. They get lazy and tell you all the time they cannot make any balloons. We came in here to purchase beer glasses replacement for our restaurant. Because of the quantity we need, we asked Joseph to see if there's more on the back. Joseph went to check for us and confirmed that we had to buy the ones off the shelves. When we were ready to check out, Joseph brought us a small card box and carefully layered the beer glass one by one and put sufficient plastic bags in between just so they won't break. Dishonest and fraudulent! I left with 7 items to check out the women checking me out did not know what she was doing. Called the manager who seemed irritated with her. She Rand me up and asked j wanted a receipt I said yes. As I was walked out I was charged $26+ dollars! It's the $1.25 store I have 7 things! I said oh no this is wrong the manager said wait let me see! I said it's simple! You triple charged me for these things. I like having this Dollar Tree right next to my gym. I've been to a few dollar & 99¢ stores.., but this was the best one! This place opened in January of 2013, so everything is brand new and there is plenty of parking. Surprisingly, the staff was very friendly & helpful, which makes their employees a lot better than Walmart. Since this is a dollar store, it is expected that the quality of your products are made very cheaply..; but it's the perfect place to shop for greeting cards, gift bags, aluminum foil, artificial flowers, soap, notepads, etc. The store is not big, but it contains a little bit of everything that you may need. read more

Their stores used to sell overstock items or items approaching expiration dates at a bargain price of $1. Now they stock them with cheap junk worth $1. Used to be a bargain hunter's paradise coming here, but no more. They should look at 99 cent stores, they still sell overstock items at a great price. This is a great dollar store. It's smaller than Dublin and very well kept. Everything is tidy. I mostly come here for mylar balloons when we are doing open house, but do find dog toys too. My dogs tear up a toy a day no matter where I buy them, so might as well buy them as cheaply as possible. LOL. I do like that some of their staff is on the mature side. There's a woman that works there that is more on the mature side with short brown hair. She spoke of working as a server years ago. I hope management knows who I am speaking of. I love it when her lane comes open when it's my time to pay. Balloons are not the greatest thing for a cashier to ring up and I leave with lots of them so I always appreciate how careful she is to make sure they are secure and that I'm not over or under charged just because I'm buying so many. read more
