Overall, this shopping center is OK but not great…read more First, I think it'd be a huge improvement if the shopping center contained a grocery store. I guess there used to be a SuperFresh, but it shut down a while back and only a huge desolate building remains. There are a handful of restaurants (some OK, some not so OK) and an assortment of random stores and businesses. Basically, it's a pretty standard strip mall, so nothing to get too excited about. At least there's a liquor store with a decent beer selection :) The Village Center also has a CVS and another, smaller pharmacy. My wife and I use the latter and we actually really like it (and they deliver your medication!), so that's a plus, at least. Also, you'll always be able to find a parking spot since there's way too much parking for the area (due to the aforementioned supermarket shutting down). Overall, is it a great place to hang out and do some shopping? Not really, but at least it meets a few needs.

Fresh produce is a bit overpriced but some things like onions are still priced right . I liked how organized it was and it was not super crowded . The date walnut balls that I picked up from their deli was very tasty and a quick pick me up dessert or power snack . I then took a chance and purchased them again today. When peeled they were a very odd bright red color that I have never seen pn a mandarin before. I was afraid to eat them. I disposed of them. I then got out the grape tomatoes that I purchased this afternoon. Most were wrinkled and clearly should not have been sold. McCaffrey's is going to have to step up their produce quality to keep my business. I cannot keep throwing food away. I don't have time to waste returning it either. I barely have time to shop. McCaffrey's should be premium quality. I should not have to inspect everything I take off the shelf. I'm deeply disappointed.

To speed things up at the pharmacy counter my favorite drugstore has installed touch-screen kiosks that check you in and send the staff scurrying after your pills and potions. So far, no problem. However, for an enterprise that has aspirations to be the nations dominant health provider, the kiosks are filthy beyond belief. I've seen more hygiene displayed in the Penn Station men's room at 11pm after an AC/DC concert or... at the Wuhan Lab for that matter. Lucky for me, CVS has a greeting card aisle so I can send myself a Get Well Soon card. Yikes. One filthy star.
