I was SCAMMED at Target. I purchased several VISA debit holiday gift cards for family. One of the…read morecards was a $100.00 amount. It was discovered the card had been tampered with and 4 digits had been scraped off the plastic card making it unusable because someone else had fraudulently cashed in on it. I followed every procedure in a very patient manner with the security and fraud department at Target and elsewhere (VISA and the issuing bank- Pathward) to no avail. The manager did not come out of his office to even speak with me, instead sending some other floor worker out to shrug his shoulders, and I had to primarily communicate with the offshore "call center". The entire experience is very frustrating and frankly I'm surprised that Target is AWARE of this practice but not willing to help or stand behind the product they sell. If they're AWARE of this, then don't have an entire wall of gift cards hanging out there for the slight-of-hand. Instead, do what the Federal Trade Commission suggests and keep the gift cards by the register for purchase where light fingers are not so apt to pinch one. In general a real lack of courtesy and professionalism. At least pretend to make an attempt even if you could care less.

They need to enforce the drivers and empty cars to move that are all stopped down the side of the…read moreroad to enter and exit these establishments. You cannot drive on the road unless you play chicken with oncoming cars. You cannot walk out of the coffee shop or store without weaving between the vehicles because they're in front of the doors. No one enforces anything until someone gets hit. And I have seen a lot of near misses. The stores pay a lot to be there . And they get no safety for their patrons. IT iS RIDICULOUS. Such as Acme, Blinds to Go, Urban Air, Target and more. The layout is a little confusing. as you have one area that is Home Depot, than across the street is Target, Urban Air, Petco, a nail salon called Super Nails, Satori which is a karate place. and a coffee shop. There's also a Dollar Tree. Then, if you cross the street, there is Applebee's which is the only dining option in this shopping center, and Blinds to Go. Oh, there's also a new store called Doors Outlet. Then if you drive another minute, there's another shopping center that is the same name, where there is Acme, Hallmark, Buy Rite, and a Cleaners called Margaret. There's also a Chinese fast food place. This shopping center, has pretty much everything you would need, but it's not in a good area. I heard a lot of arguing, and fighting outside some stores. Overall, though this is a great shopping center.

I prefer the Summerhill Square mall more. More stores for me.

Carside pickup was a disgrace Saturday before Easter. I've been sitting here for over 25 minutes…read morealong with at least 10 other cars. Associate finally brings the orders out and it's one family's single order. Where they do that at? A family who parked beside me and went in to shop is now back at their car with their items. The person on the other side of me who was waiting before I got here left. Yikes! The young person who eventually brought my items (different than the person I mentioned before) was very nice and said they were "kinda" working solo. So the wait times are somewhat understandable on a holiday weekend. As for the in-store experience, it's pretty solid. This location always has stuff that Manville and North Brunswick locations are out of - hence why I was here today. It also is less crowded and noisy than those older stores. Carside gets a 2 at best for the wait times and strange system. In store gets a 3.5. I'll extend grace and give a 3 with the caveat to forgo curbside and only shop in store.
