I love this little store! The other day I had wall sconces on my mind but, as usual, when you're…read moreactually looking for something, it can be rather hard to find. I wanted sconces that would hold taper candles, not the electric sort that leave you having to hide the trailing cord. So I decide to run to Sweet Magnolia to replace a candle that had recently burnt out completely when, lo and behold!, there is the most gorgeous pair of gold-leafed wall sconces hanging right before my eyes! This is why I love Sweet Magnolia - you can find such elegant pieces here when you least expect it. I also appreciate that their prices don't put a huge dent in your wallet. $58 for the pair? I'll take them! The store also carries the greatest soy candles ever by Aquiesse which last a rather long time and come in several delightful fragrances. They also carry an array of other home goods - Forte teas, place settings, bath and body products, stationery, baby gifts, and jewelry. Definitely a great little shop for finding last minute gifts or a treat for yourself. I've seen similar items at other stores like Anthropologie for twice the price, so why not patronize a local entrepreneur instead?

Whenever I need a little gift for someone (or myself) I know I can find it! To top it off she's really friendly, and always up for a chat. It is really nice to be able to shop local and we are lucky we have a boutique like Sweet Magnolia in the neighborhood.

Always a wonderful experience at this place, so many interesting and unique items to choose from…read more The proprietor is truly amazing. Highly recommend this place, items are always changing and the value is great.

As I start this review I feel completely remiss as I have no photos of this absolutely LOVELY store…read moreto share (so that means I'll have to go back some time and take some!). During my recent visit to Red Bank, I was wandering around the area off the main drag at Broad Street and this store front caught my eye. It is hard to say what fires one's brain sometimes. I love all types of shops, but when I see a bright, light drenched shop with lots of white and wood, something just fires up my interest. You can see photos of the shop on their site (https://www.shopatforge.com/) to get a sense of what I mean. The store caught my eye and I had to check it out! Inside is a spacious shop with shelves to the left and right and a large island in the middle with all sorts of curated gifts laid out on tables. There are descriptions on every item, which is great because sometimes you see things at these shops and it's hard to tell just what you're looking at. Other times there are items that you just latch onto. There were all sorts of items ranging from soaps, to shampoos, to kitchen ware to an Astrology journal. The common theme was that everything felt elegant and worthy of adding to your home or being a gift. No surprise, as the owner carefully curates everything herself. I wound up picking up a "bag in a bag", a collapsible bag that can fit inside your coat pocket or a side bag. I also picked up some nice hand soaps from Japan. I was told that during my visit the stock in the store was relatively low after the holidays, so I look forward to going back when the shelves and table are more filled with lovely products. Forge is a beautiful shop with a very cool owner and is worth a visit, check it out!

Kristi Let me just…read moresay Saturday, March 5, 2022 1:30ish We had the best experience yet at HomeSense. I have been shopping here since they opened. We always enjoy ourselves while We r shopping. The store is always clean people are very friendly and so much cool stuff to buy. Today had to be the greatest experience. There was a phenomenal employee Kristi. I don't know if she's a manager, if she's not she should be. Kristi went above and beyond customer service. I had bought a wreath that faded shortly after I bought it. I brought it back to return. I had taken the tag off it and brought the wrong receipt. At first they would not be able to credit me. Then I said I would take it home no worries Kristi gave me a bag for it while I was continuing to shop. As I went on shopping Kristi chased after me found one on the shelf and refunded my money it was only $15 but the quality of customer care out of her was amazing. Very refreshing. Me being in the service industry myself I really appreciate it. GREAT help is hard to find. THANK YOU KRISTI. MADE OUR DAY!!!

Just walking briefly through the store because i had limited time i was impressed in how they displayed items not like the Manalapan store which is a disaster. I will definitely go back to this location over the Manalapan one even though it's closer to home. Cashier was pleasant n I complimented her on the stores neatness.
