During my recent visit to Red Bank, I was wandering around the area off the main drag at Broad Street and this store front caught my eye. It is hard to say what fires one's brain sometimes. I love all types of shops, but when I see a bright, light drenched shop with lots of white and wood, something just fires up my interest. Inside is a spacious shop with shelves to the left and right and a large island in the middle with all sorts of curated gifts laid out on tables. There are descriptions on every item, which is great because sometimes you see things at these shops and it's hard to tell just what you're looking at. Other times there are items that you just latch onto. There were all sorts of items ranging from soaps, to shampoos, to kitchen ware to an Astrology journal. The common theme was that everything felt elegant and worthy of adding to your home or being a gift. No surprise, as the owner carefully curates everything herself. I wound up picking up a "bag in a bag", a collapsible bag that can fit inside your coat pocket or a side bag. I also picked up some nice hand soaps from Japan. I was told that during my visit the stock in the store was relatively low after the holidays, so I look forward to going back when the shelves and table are more filled with lovely products. Forge is a beautiful shop with a very cool owner and is worth a visit, check it out!

COVID19 has thrown a monkey wrench into the supply chain for furniture and most items have a minimum of a 1 month wait time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Raymour and Flanigan as I have had great luck with the items I have purchased.

They tried to rush him in checking over three rooms of furniture. I told them that WASN'T happening! Their furniture off gas is toxic. I just bought $15k of furniture for my new home. Their repair man did nothing about it and lied to me about replacement. My bedroom set has drawers that won't close properly and sit flush. Only ONE item is being replaced today when it should be three! Also, the headboard is wobbly and I'm being told it's because I have an adjustable bed. Of course the salesmen told me nothing about that. Next time, I'm going back to Ashley, and I will get this rectified even if legally. I bought a service plan only to be denied replacement for something that's their fault as well as the manufacture's. This was bought online and at their Freehold, NJ store. I'm still waiting on a refund I was promised for one table.

Have purchased some great items for my shore home but had to post about a clock I saw at the store last year during the holidays. Snapped a pic and then, in August, went back in to see if they still had it. It was not in the store but they found the exact clock and ordered it. Couldn't get it to work when we put it up in our kitchen and the sales associates went out of their way to try different batteries, finally replacing my clock happily with a new one. I've lived now on both coasts and in multiple major cities and the consistent selection, prices, and cleanliness/organization of this store is unbeatable. Lines can feel long but it's because the store is awesome and they do a fairly good job at keeping the lines moving. Every time we come home back east we go here to stock up:)
